Unfortunately, my stay was let down by cleanliness issues. One of the pillows smelled very damp, and another genuinely smelled like smelly feet. Because of this, I had to call reception at bedtime to request fresh pillowcases. The receptionist did not apologise, and when the pillowcases were delivered there was also no apology. This made the situation feel dismissive and also made me question whether other areas were properly cleaned. On a positive note, the location is good and convenient.

Great location next to the Marina and sea front and a short walk to the city centre. Staff are great, warm and friendly. However it is looking very tired inside and out, but wouldn't stop us staying there again.

I wouldn’t suggest staying here. I would stay in Swansea as it’s beautiful but the delta hotel was far from that. First night of our honeymoon, looked to book a 4 star hotel and we get this bin bag of a hotel. We were asked if we wanted the honeymoon romance package, which we declined as it’s a £7 bottle of Prosecco for £50… they gave it to us in the room which we thought was a kind gesture as I emailed back to say we don’t want it. Then tried charging me £70 for it when I left. I didn’t pay and showed the email to which they were happy they made a mistake. Our radiator broke in the room, I called reception and the brought us a broken portable heater. We asked the move rooms and got moved to a room where the window was missing the handle. This ment the wind blew in and a big puddle of water covered the windowsill and my money (lucky it’s plastic now) I requested a refund and the hotel manager refused to reply or acknowledge this via hotels.com (who were not help either) Here’s some photos. Don’t stay here. The hotel manager should contact me and give me a refund for this.

We booked the Executive King size room over looking the marina. The room itself was spacious and very clean. It had a coffee machine, kettle and fridge. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were very soft. It was like trying to sleep on a marshmallow. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great. If you are 'vertically challenged' like me, be warned that the bath is tricky to get in and out of. The reception and restaurant staff were helpful and friendly. There is a self service breakfast, with a good selection of pastries, fruit and toast. The cooked breakfast was good and you also had a choice of an omelette. I had telephoned already as my partner has Coeliac Disease and also mentioned on my booking form that we would need a GF breakfast. However, when we arrived the restaurant staff knew nothing about this. They were helpful and the chef cooked a breakfast from scratch to avoid cross contamination, but the only GF product was the bread for toast. We had a lovely stay, but I think the Executive rooms are a bit overwhelmed priced for what you get. I would stay again, but in a standard room which would be half the price.

Mannn i don’t like to be the kind of guy who leaves a bad review but please don’t go here. Let me start by saying something nice, it’s right next to the beach. When i arrived to check-in pretty late at night the check-in took a lil while but it’s fine tho, can happen. What’s not fine is being lied to about a £50 deposit that “won’t be charged from my bank until i leave and there would be sumn wrong with the room”. I was like i guess, so i went to my room and a couple minutes later the money was actually withdrawn from my bank account. It was a pending transaction but still, that money can’t be spent until they fix it (which is gonna take idk how long). But you know, £50, not the biggest issue in the world (as long as i’m getting it back). Then i arrive at my room and the key card don’t work, another thing which is fine but count those lil things up and it contributes to a bad experience. After getting a new key card, i come in my room, want to take a quick shower, and there’s hairs on the towel and in the bathtub. The room smelled bad. And the covers were so itchy that i decided to sleep in my sleeping bag. Dear sir or ma’am; don’t let me make your choices for you, but personally i’d rather buy a £30 tent at decathlon and pitch up on the beach besides the hotel than to ever sleep here again. Hope y’all improve ts cause the location is way too good to be leveled down by this type of quality.

Hotel was fine for a three night stay. Rooms and general decor/carpets badly need updating but things work. Breakfast okay, but could be better with a few more choices. Staff great. Please try and cook the morning Pastries properly-they weren't.

I stayed at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Swansea and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was modern and stylish, with a wide range of amenities. The location was convenient, with easy access to all the best attractions and restaurants in the city. Overall, I would recommend the Delta Hotels by Marriott Swansea for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Although slightly dated, very clean with positive staff. Looked after a whole group of ex soldiers attending a reunion. They were provided a lovely room and the food was very good. Downside was the room was quite warm and couldn't open the windows, plus a noisy toilet. Otherwise an enjoyable stay.

Have been coming here over many years but not since 2019. Lovely reception and bar staff. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the rooms. We were given room 401, a corner room. The rooms and bathrooms are very tired and dated and haven't changed in years. We could not open any windows, the one being screwed shut and the other had a handle hanging off and would not open. Still cannot understand how the hotel can get away with this, surely its a health and safety hazard. I did mention this to the receptionist who said that this is the case in some of the rooms and found us another room with windows that did open, albeit only a little bit. Evening meal was average, very noisy and very busy. Breakfast used to be fantastic with loads of choice. Unfortunately this is no longer the case. The choice of food is nothing like as good and again, it was very noisy and chaotic. On the plus side, the receptionists and bar staff were lovely. It's such a shame as the location of the hotel is fabulous.
