Very disappointed with our Christmas dinner. Was a shambles of a dinner, sent out wrong orders even though we pre ordered, poor quality and not even an apology. Paid £500 for dinner for 5 adults and 2 children and it completely ruined our day

What can we say but disappointed. Booked for 7 of us for Christmas dinner in advance, paid in advance and gave our menu choices a week before as requested however things didn’t start well as starters were brought out and two were forgotten about after everyone had finished we were still missing two starters had to ask which we were told we should have had them all, they had forgotten two people which wasn’t great. When the two missing starters arrived the soup was cold and the salmon wasn’t what was ordered had to change for a soup. It was then time for the mains however this was also a disaster as what we were promised would be on the dinner at the time of booking wasn’t what arrived, we mentioned this to the staff who went back to the chef and brought out stuffing, peas and uncooked swede half way through the meal, the swede was returned to the kitchen, mashed up a bit and sent back out (still raw). The roast potatoes were dry and overcooked, the dinner as a whole was cold and very underwhelming not at all what you’d expect for a £90 per head Christmas dinner. No one apologised when full plates were sent back and we raised our complaints. Unfortunately it did ruin what was supposed to be a lovely Christmas dinner as we felt awkward and let down.

Visited with some friends for a nice pub lunch. I had fish and chips, the fish was lovely and the chips were the absolute fluffiest and had perfect crispiness! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Fairly expensive (£18 for my meal) but by far the best pub meal I've had in a while. Coupled with the nice staff and great atmosphere, it made for a great lunch (sheltered from the rain outside)

Went for food only, didn’t stay over. Really lovely pub food - good menu selection, freshly prepared and great service. Great value for money. Nice range of drinks, including local ales. Garden area is also good and has undercover areas if needed. On site parking available.

Booked in for a Sunday Roast Dinner yesterday. A last minute booking for our party of 5 Adults a child and a dog. Without a doubt the best decision we have made during our break in Swansea. The Lamb was sumptuous and by far the best we had tasted. Will be back for sure. Staff were good too

Absolutely love this place, we stay in a nearby hotel twice a year, and this is the first place we go to when we arrive to have a pint and a bowl of dirty fries while we wait for our room to be prepared in the nearby hotel
