“Excellent staff, family hotel with character and lots of history. Some famous people have visited including former Prime Minister Edward Heath! Rooms are very clean and everything works. Id recommend.”
“Our go to place to stay, clean and comfortable, and food is amazing. Staff are lovely, we had the lovely Korrie who served us for breakfast, was really busy but she was lovely and so helpful, a credit to the Premier inn team.”
“We enjoyed our stay here, the hotel is in a lovely location. We particularly enjoyed the bar area which has really nice welcoming decor.”

“Such a lovely place with lovely people and the staff are working their hardest during covid-19 to keep everyone safe and try to get everyone to stick to the rules and they are doing such a wonderful job during this awful time. Everything is under shelter and it's perfect for a stunning day to sit in the beer garden.”
“Literally perfect. Lovely room, great service, super staff and a delicious breakfast. Location was ideal being next to the Bistrot Pierre where we’d booked dinner (which was excellent though the restaurant in the pub would probably have been as good), parking very close and right next to the seafront promenade for a walk. We’ll be back!”
“We always love performing at Oxwich Bay Hotel. It’s such a breathtaking setting. With the sea as a backdrop and the team’s friendly, professional approach, every wedding feels effortlessly special. Our bands always feel so welcomed and part of the magic, helping to create unforgettable moments for each couple. It’s a real joy to be a trusted supplier at such an iconic Gower venue, where great music and stunning views come together perfectly.”
“Had a brilliant stay welcomed by Sharon on our first night, made us feel really welcome and told us where our nice clean room was, really comfortable beds and a good first night sleep. Second night Sharon went above and beyond for us and got us some plates and cutlery so we could eat our dinner, was really helpful and super friendly, will be back, mostly because of the service we received from Sharon! :)”
“I decided to visit Port Talbot with a friend for the afternoon . We came across Blanco’s and thoroughly enjoyed our meal ..We both chose the fish on the menu .. The Place was exceptional with chips , new potatoes, peas and carrots .. I had a double vodka and my friend had a medium glass of wine .. Once finished we retired into the lounge area and had another vodka and a glass of wine .. The atmosphere was lovely.. If I ever revisit Port Talbot I’ll definitely have lunch in Blanco’ again..”
“My late Mothers wake was held here today. The room was stunning , perfectly set out and the buffet was just delicious. Fresh and varied and plenty for everyone. The staff were outstanding. We could not have wished better for our dear Mam. Thank you so much.”
“Fantastic Sunday Lunch at the Miramar Hotel I've been to the Miramar Hotel a number of times for the Sunday roast. There is free parking at he rear of the hotel, free WIFI, and excellent choice of hot and cold beverages. The Sunday roast rates as one of the best I've eaten anywhere including (sorry Mum) Mums...... They offer a choice of meat, Chicken or the melt in the mouth roast Beef. Served with potatoes cooked three ways, Roast, Mash and Boiled, yorkshire puddings, stuffing plus an array of freshly prepared vegetables. The home made gravy to die for.... The portion sizes are huge. If you've got room after the mains theres a Desert included in the price. Really recommend the hotel for it's roast and cooked food in general.”
“Booked a room for 2 nights. The room was large and very clean. It is easy to check in and out. Extremely friendly staff. Being next to the pub was excellent for breakfast and meals. A bonus being it had a carvery.”

“We've just left the grand hotel after a four day stay and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Victoria the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff in the bar/restaurant are also some very friendly professional people. We will most definitely be back again”
“Town centre hotel close to amenities easy parking, free from 6pm to 8 am. Appears to have undergone a refurb recently.”
“We stayed here after seeing wynne evans on friday 19th December. After reading previous reviews, we really didn't know what to expect. We were greeted in reception by a pleasant gentleman with a very warm welcome. We took the lift upto our room on the 1st floor. We were room 105. When we entered the room, it was warm and very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bed only had one pillow each, but we were provided with another one each after enquiring at reception. Nothing was too much bother. We were located at the back of the hotel, with the window closed it was very quiet, despite a train line being outside the window and an Eden bar and grill nightclub. The following morning we went down for breakfast, there was a limited selection of cereals, either weetabix or corn flakes. There was also toast with a selection of jams and marmalade, along with orange juice or apple juice. There was a hot drinks machine that you could help yourself to various hot drinks. After being out for the day, we went back to the hotel for food. My fiancé and myself had the same food off the menu, we had burger and fries. The burger was a decent size and very tasty, served inside a soft white roll. We had a few drinks from the bar, which had a good selection of alcoholic beverages. We will definitely be back to this hotel again.”
“We held a team meeting at The Thomas Arms earlier today for a group of 35 delegates, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble for Dionne and her team — the meeting room was set up exactly to our requirements, with well-organised breakout areas that helped the day run smoothly. Our lunch was equally impressive. The fantastic carvery offered three delicious meat options, all cooked to a high standard, and the team were more than happy to tailor meals to accommodate our delegates’ dietary needs. Overall, outstanding service and attention to detail. We wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend The Thomas Arms for future events.”
“Old world charm combined with a well visited pub /restaurant. Live quizzes, excellent pub grub. I have stayed several times and will be back”
“Ideally placed right in the centre of everything, shops, beach, pavilion. Lovely apartment, very clean, nicely decorated, everything you could want, complimentary things left in the fridge and nice white fluffy towels, in the bathroom. Nice little touches all around the rooms and bed very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. We stayed for the Elvis festival, Heartbreak Hotel is in the next street which is definitely worth a visit, this place is a bar which has a dancefloor, tribute acts, dancefloor and great atmosphere.”
“Fabulous accommodation in the heart of Porthcawl. Minutes walk to the sea front and restaurants. Beautifully decorated and maintained. Would highly recommend”
