Called here today for Sunday lunch well worth a visit. We had garlic Mushrooms and French onion soup for starters then we chose the three meat lunch. Couldn't have desert too full. Brought a tray home with left overs. The cauliflower cheese was delicious a decent thick cheese sauce compared to anywhere else I have had it. The beef was so tender it just shredded. The vegetables were cooked al dente but delicious. The swede was served in a bowl so tasty. I have attached photos but due to large Yorkshire pudding it hides a lot of the food. The stuffing which was under the pork was amazing. Definitely worth the money cant wait to have dinner with Santa on 21st and looking forward to trying bed and breakfast in new year. Congratulations to the chef and kitchen staff apparently they are cooking 240 lunches this afternoon. Thank you to the staff for being so attentive you earn your money here and I hope the managers appreciate your hard work.

Really friendly staff. Great breakfast options. The room was fine. Only issue was the windows didn't open, air con didn't work and the fan they provided was too noisy to use. But generally a decent place.

We've just left the grand hotel after a four day stay and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Victoria the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff in the bar/restaurant are also some very friendly professional people. We will most definitely be back again

A very nice hotel excellently located just across the road from the Swansea train station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Room 310 is a pleasant room nicely appointed. I found the bed to be a little soft for my liking but it is still comfortable. The breakfast menu, while not extensive, is cooked to perfection. The evening meal was included and provided a good selection of options. They were large portions, very nicely presented and well cooked. Overall, a very nice place to stay in Swansea.

We stayed here for our wedding weekend, and it could not have been more perfect! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. A special thank you to Andrew, who went above and beyond by upgrading us to a beautiful deluxe hot tub suite (I’m not sure of the exact name) and surprising us with some lovely goodies to celebrate our stay. The room itself was incredible—spacious, elegant, and with every detail thoughtfully arranged. The hot tub and bath were pure luxury, making the whole experience extra relaxing. Everything about our stay felt special, and thanks to Andrew and the team, it truly became a fabulous and memorable part of our wedding celebrations. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for exceptional service and unforgettable memories!

What a lovely hotel!!! Staff so very welcoming, friendly and accommodating, they were all so lovely. Location is perfect, right next door to a train station, walking distance to the town centre, shops, restaurants and bars . So many beautiful places to visit nearby. Our room was perfect, very clean, had everything we needed, kettle with coffee or tea, a small fridge, hairdryer, shampoo, soap and shower gel. Our bed was so very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was a great experience, superb choice of hot or cold items, the welsh breakfast was delicious, you then had a help yourself buffet of fruit, yoghurt, nuts, cereal, croissant and you could request toast. Coffee and tea was plentiful. Very much look forward to returning

We’ve just come away from the most beautiful afternoon tea we could have imagined. Every single member of staff couldn’t do enough for us they really treated us like family! Your wonderful member of staff(I’m so sorry I didn’t get her name) helped us pull of the best surprise ever she ever waited for my gran to arrive with me. I’m honestly lost for words thank you so much!

Me, my husband and two friends stayed at the hotel for 5 days as part of a group tour. We travelled up by train from London to Swansea and the location was absolutely excellent – the hotel is literally across the road. There is a selection of shops nearby and it is within walking distance of a marina and nice sandy beach We were given rooms on the second floor – our friends had a bigger room which was nice and although ours was compact, it was fine for the amount of time we spent there. One thing I would say though is that storage space was extremely limited so we did find ourselves struggling for places to hang clothes up. I’d suggest bringing coat hangers as like most other hotels, the room didn’t seem to have many. The room had air conditioning which seemed to work well but it was quite noisy sometimes but the bed was great and very comfortable. If you stay at the hotel make sure you stay and have the breakfast. The range and quality of the food really is fantastic. The selection of cold food is really well set out and inviting – the fruit is really fresh and there is a great selection of croissants, pastries, breakfast cereals and fruit/yoghurt/granola compotes and that is before you’ve even chosen off the cooked breakfast menu. The range of cooked breakfast options was absolutely amazing – I’ve stayed in lots of different hotels and never seen anything like this before and it all tasted as good as it sounded. One thing the hotel does have in abundance is amazing and hardworking staff. We got to know a few of them through the week and they truly made our week – Sam, Michael, Sarah, John, Carol, Mikey (in the bar) - everyone was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a really enjoyable stay.
