“Lovely cinema, comfy seats, friendly staff, it's just up from Dennys so it's in a great location. Plenty of parking too, just remember to enter your vehicle registration into the tablet at the cashier desk when you get there, or you will be fined after 2 hours.”
“Had a group of kids giggling ruining the movie. One of the employees Ash was so lovely and understanding, he was very kind and caring. Absolute lovely gent. We will still be coming back due to him be so accommodating.”
“Lovely cinema! Highly recommend! Very accommodating staff as well as very polite and well mannered. Cinema is always clean but gives off a homely vibe. Very welcoming. Perfect place for my adhd autistic daughter because it’s not too over whelming like some places. Will always come here to watch a movie with the family.”
“Beautiful theatre, best place to watch a film. Great to be able to have a drink as well.”
“Friendly helpful staff. Small, quaint theatre. Excellent local production. Great family entertainment.”
“First visit to Pontardawe Arts Centre. What a lovely venue, right in the middle of the town. Went to see Andy Fairweather Low and the Low Riders. Beautiful venue, nice cafe bar area, all spotlessly clean. Had a couple of drinks prior to the show, very friendly staff, happy to help with all enquiries. Will definitely visit again.”
“To be honest I’m not rating this for the place but for someone who works there. I do not know her name but I attend a wedding there and she cut my silhouette free hand with paper and it’s the best thing ever ‼️”
“What a great cinema. Very beautiful, spotlessly clean. Great people and terrific sound and vision.”
“What a fantastic venue, really nice and friendly staff, awesome drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Awesome size cinema, great size screen and really comfortable seating. Holds exclusive events and Q&A sessions with directors which is a massive bonus.”
“Fantastic venue. Varied events and staff and volunteers are really lovely. Check it out! Worth a short drive out of Swansea to support a really nice venue”
“Went to see Cinderella here. Lovely little place. Friendly staff”
“Been coming to this cinema for a fairly long time and it's one of my favourites, tickets are priced at a reasonable £6.99 and the four hours free parking is a big bonus. Practically all of the fixtures and fittings inside are from when it was an Apollo cinema, which is actually a great thing for nostalgia since there was never anything wrong with those fixtures and fittings in the first place. Swansea is only 20mins away, and yes it does have an Odeon and a Vue, but you'll also find a very good cinematic experience here too, the only branch of Reel in all of Wales (second nearest is all the way over in Chippenham - Reel, please open more Welsh venues!). Give it a try for a trip to the pictures. And it's right by Aberavon Beach on the seafront too! Hooray!”
“Cinema great, trying to sort lloyds bank vouchers was a nightmare... use the help guide on the odeon site. JUST WANT TO KNOW WHY IT HAS TO BE SO LOUD, I ALWAYS HAVE TO WEAR EARPLUGS, CANT BE GOOD FOR YOUNG EARS”
“Great place nice and relaxing pubs close by round of golf for those who like it dog friendly lovely hosts”
“Amazing little place well worth a visit, had my 8 year old birthday party there, got the children to choose their film and away we went! Great fun had by all, watched old school Disney Robin Hood!”

“Really lovely place.. Although some of the seats really do need sorting out, with ripped arm rests etc. Really need seating in the foyer for people to wait or just rest if disabled.. Staff super friendly and helpful”
“Beautiful, Affordable and Quality Beverages! Cafe W (Waterstones) is an absolutely beautiful location, the library itself is gorgeous, with the upstairs cafe being potentially even more so. There are plenty of options regarding seating, as well as elevator access for disabled access - the elevator itself is quite small however so fitting a wheelchair may be difficult. The beverages and service are something else honestly. The staff are lovely and don’t mind a good chat, and the coffees, hot chocolates and tea is all to die for. There are many syrups from pumpkin spice to hazelnut, and tea options from earl gray to rooibos. Hot chocolates are stacked with marshmallows and whipped cream, and coffees with gorgeous latte art that is top tier. Not to mention, 90% of menu items range from £2-4, making the quality for affordability balance incredibly worthwhile. Thank you to everybody at cafe W for the amazing experience, and I can guarantee that I will return in the future! Keep up the amazing work and I look forward to visiting again very soon!”
