Beautiful location. Lodges are perfect. Holiday on the 15th March. Hard frosts morning and that made the fishing very hard. Did catch 4 carp over the week and 60+ roach on the last day using maggots.
Just stopped for a week in the Morgan lodge. Very comfortable, clean with great location. Fishing was great my husband caught fish everyday up to 10lb in weight carp. Would recommend to others.
Lovely location, Very quiet with good access to local attractions, The lodge was very clean, furnished to a very high standard and comfortable throughout. The fishing lake was not overly busy and at times later in the evening i had the whole lake to myself. A good selection of small silverfish easily caught with maggots and 12 Carp up to 10lb caught on sweetcorn. Children loved the holiday and we will return I'm sure. Highly Recommended!!!
My friends and I go on a week-long summer holiday together every year. From July 27th to August 3rd, 2019, we chose to stay near the coast in the vicinity of Bristol my son could pop down to see us for a meal. New Orchard Farm Lodges offered us the perfect accommodations at Blenheim Lodge. They are in a good location for transportation by train, grocery shopping, and the seaside. We were able to get a train from the Wold station into Bristol to avoid the busy city. Sainsbury's was easily accessible at Wold as well. We traveled to various seaside towns within a half-hour drive. We also found a wonderful proper restaurant nearby to celebrate one of our birthdays. The food was four-star and top of the line service. The accommodation itself was very comfortable, quiet, and clean. The lodge had everything one could need for a short or longer stay. The beds were comfortable and they provided ample line. There was internet available and we were able to use an HDMI cord to stream movies from my computer. Absolutely loved the farm shop just a short walk from the lodge and their cafe. We had some lovely strolls around the lake and evenings on the patio. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.
A fantastic set up. My family and I have just stayed for a long weekend at 3 of the 4 lodges . Each one was very well equipped and very comfortable. A great location and would thoroughly recommend these to anyone wanting a break, especially for a group gathering.
