We stayed in one of the cabins. Basic but functional. For us it was a perfect base for trips to Bristol, Highclere castle and other sites. James is a warm and helpful person and he goes out of his way to make you feel at home. I highly recommend this camping.

Lovely little campsite! We were just visiting friends but it all looked really clean and well equipped. My partner & I will definitely be booking in next summer!

This is the best campsite I have stayed on. The facilities are great; sparkly clean showers, plentiful hot water and hand soap provided. There's even a hair dryer! Equally, the kitchen area is clean and well equipped with with fridges and washing machines, toaster and kettles. The owner, James, is a delight and has tried to think of everything you may need to make it a comfortable camping experience, even majes barissta coffee! Really looking forward to returning. Thanks Rachel

James was very welcoming and showed us around, we were able to choose our pitch. Found a sheltered one ( it was very windy) Toilet/shower area was amazing, super clean, heated, plenty of hot water, soap, dryers! Kitchen wash up inside with kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge, freezer and more. Great site Thanks

This campsite has it all! We loved our stay, excellent facilities that are immaculately maintained, great location, lovely friendly people. We will return and will recommend to others. I know it's all on the website anyway but we found the fridges and huge freezer really helpful for storing a few bits. Play facilities conveniently located in the middle of the campsite, good distance away from tents so not noisy but you can easily keep an eye on your kids. There's a washing machine there too and the woodfired pizzas that you can buy on Fridays and Saturdays were really good. We also recommend the pub the mill at rode, a few minutes away. Loads of great days out to be had, we enjoyed wookeyhole and trips to Frome, Wells and Shepton Mallet prison!

Amazing campsite the owners are the most honest and most welcoming people you could ask for, we only stayed for 2 nights but it was amazing the kids loved it and there is so much to do on site and around the local area. The facilities are so clean and tidy the firepits where great for marshmallows with the kids and the pizza nights are unreal we can't wait to book next summer for a week to chill out and relax couldn't recommend this campsite enough.

We love it here! 4th time camping here and James and Emma are just as friendly, approachable and helpful as the first time. We love that no matter where you are camped you can see the children and we love that there's no clubhouse - it's quiet, friendly and the kids use their imaginations all day whilst making new friends. You may mistake being bored with that unfamiliar situation where the kids are happy and entertained so the parents can sit, relax and actually do something they want to do - like reading a book without feeling guilty! There's loads to do locally, both free and expensive and it's great to explore new places. 100% recommend here for anyone who wants to disconnect from the stresses of day to day life and just enjoy the slower pace.

Absolutely loved our time here this weekend. The staff are just lovely! Very clean facilities. Lovely food hut for breakfasts (bacon rolls/fry ups etc) and then evening meals, we enjoyed some really nice pizza and chips! Would absolutely recommend to friends and family and will definitely be going back!

We were so impressed with this campground. We were coming from the U.S and stayed for 2 nights. The owners James and Emma were so kind and friendly and made us feel at home. The food stand which is open for Breakfast and Dinner was excellent. They also have a camp store that offers all of the necessities including fresh made coffee drinks. The tent sites are very large and we could park our cars right on the site. Overall, this was a most enjoyable experience for my family and I.

This campy site is by far is the cleanest ever! The toilets and shower facilities are cleaned twice daily and are spacious. I’m each toilet cubicle there are wipes provided for you to clean the toilet seat. Unfortunately there is no wipes for the men’s toilet which could be an improvement. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The pitch is bigger than average pitch size in other camps which makes camping very comfortable and enough distance from the neighbours. There is a wooden bench and table set within each pitch for you to use which is very handy. The only down side is the location. If you are new to Bath/Bristol area, then you could take the opportunity to explore. However I’m from Bristol and I’ve already been to all the sites. There isn’t any activity to do other than wild swimming in the River Frome and Weir. We tried 3 places and all very dirty. We’ve heard some kids swam there recently and got very ill. We spent all weekend on site which for us was boring.
