Beautiful hotel. The staff were lovely and thoughtful. I booked a stay for my wife’s birthday and they even left a HBD greeting card with a note for her! I loved the room, facilities, decorations, the gorgeous view from our room, and the amazing hot tub. But above all the best part of Dukes was the staff. They were so kind, friendly and helpful throughout my stay, probably the best hotel staff I’ve ever interacted with. Only thing I wish they had was food. There’s no food available other than breakfast, and the breakfast options were limited. However they were delicious. They were flexible with our orders and accommodated everyone’s requests. And I watched the staff(wish I got her name) going through the effort to arrange every table in the dining room neat and perfect the night before, so I could see how much they care. Overall it was well worth the money I spent, and definitely the most special memorable part of my wife’s birthday trip. If I ever travel to Bath again, I’ll definitely go back here and hope to meet the same staff again!

We stayed at The Dukes Bath last night on our way home from Cornwall with our children and small dog. Beautiful hotel in keeping with the Georgian City of Bath. It was like stepping back in time. Great location. The team at The Dukes were welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We will defiantly be back!

Fantastic place to stay whilst visiting Bath. Big thanks to Chris for making us feel so welcome. The cooked to order breakfast was first class. The location brilliant and the room very comfortable. Even though we had a spacious room overlooking the main road, we were not disturbed by any vehicle noise during our two night stay. We would highly recommend a walk straight through the nearby Sydney Gardens to the canal, then turn right for a very pleasant walk along the canal all the way to the river Avon by the 'Bath Spa' railway station. Would definitely stay at 'Dukes Bath' if/when visiting Bath again.

I had a wonderful stay at The Dukes Hotel. I strongly recommend it. The room was spacious, beautifully furnished with charming antique pieces, and very clean. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant service was equally impressive. The location couldn’t be better, just a short walk to the city centre and very convenient for Bath University. A truly delightful place to stay!

Lovely traditional room. Great view. Special attentions for our dog, dog box (ball, treats, biscuits, poo bags), as well as a bed he loved and food bowls. Needed an earlier breakfast, which was no problem. Jean-Luc was very attentive to our needs, and we had a lovely stay in this beautiful part of Bath!

Couldn't recommend this hotel enough. I booked a room for my mum's birthday and we had the best weekend here! I've visited Bath a few times, however this is the only place I would return to stay. Everything was outstanding, but service was particularly fantastic. A big thank you to the team, we look forward to returning.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It is on a very quiet street just a five minute walk from the city centre. The rooms are clean, well appointed and spacious and the hotel staff could not be more attentive but without being obtrusive. The breakfast is the best I have ever had in a hotel and more than big enough to keep you going through a day of sightseeing. The only possible downside is that there is no car park or on street parking but this is due to the council imposing parking restrictions so is completely outside of the hotel’s control, there is however a very efficient and very reasonably priced park and ride system in place which actually made our stay easier . We will definitely be back in this great hotel soon.

I booked a last minute stay at The Dukes to celebrate my sisters birthday. I made a couple of requests in the booking which the team promptly responding to. Once we arrived, the service we received was amazing. As we arrived earlier then the check in time, the team took their time to tell us things to do whilst we waited for our room to be great. We booked one of the snug rooms. I was worried it might be a little small, but I had nothing to be worried about. It was a lovely sized room for two. One thing to be aware of is the snug rooms are up 6 flights of stairs. There is no lift in this hotel. There were robes, tea/coffee making facilities, towels, toiletries and a must needed fan as it was warm when we were visiting. Breakfast was lovely. They offer cooked breakfast, cereal, toast, pancakes and many other lovely things. As we were eating breakfast, Carol, one of the owners, came and spoke to us and wished my sister a happy birthday. She gave us some tips in what to see and do around the city. You would never get this kind of service with any of the chain hotels. The hotel is only approx a 7 minute walk from the centre of Bath, which is ideal. I have already recommended The Dukes Hotel to a number of my friends and I know where I will be staying when I visit again!

The hotel is beautiful, in a great location a few minutes level walk from the centre of Bath. Our room was perfect, nicely decorated and the shower was excellent. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and it's great to be able to park outside as well. Delicious breakfast and a lovely courtyard to have a very well priced drink before going out.

The staff are very professional and very helpful in every way. The rooms are clean and well presented. The breakfast is second to none. Carol the owner makes you feel at home and goes out of her way to enhance your stay. The hotel is perfectly located for the centre of Bath. My wife and I have stayed at the Dukes twice and on both occasions it was perfect.
