Our stay at The Hare & Hounds in Tetbury was absolutely exceptional. We stayed in the Magnolia Suite, and it was pure luxury from start to finish — beautifully styled, wonderfully spacious, and incredibly boujee in the best possible way. The suite was stocked with Molton Brown toiletries, which felt like such a thoughtful, high-end touch. The hot tub was gorgeous and the perfect place to relax, especially in the colder weather. What truly made the stay extra special was having a Christmas tree in our suite — such a magical, festive detail that made the experience feel really personal and cozy. Everything about our stay felt indulgent, relaxing, and well thought out. We couldn’t fault a thing and would absolutely recommend The Hare & Hounds to anyone looking for a luxurious countryside escape. We’ll definitely be back!

An absolutely fantastic venue and staff! My daughter got Married here in December & we couldn’t have asked for more! Everything was perfect & the staff did a marvellous job through the weekend! A special mention to Jenna who braved the rain with drinks while the last photos were taken! You’re a star!!

Stayed for one night earlier in the year, and had good first impressions. The welcome was nice, with pleasant staff and a warm vibe to the entry, once I'd manage to navigate there from the car park — it's a sprawling site, especially in the dark, and not always clearly signposted. The room was a good size, with plenty of floor space, a good sized desk, and a couple of armchairs with a coffee table. All seemed good. It fell apart when I saw the piles of dead ladybirds on the floor. The oil heater, fan and iron in the wardrobe were left in a less than elegant way, but that doesn't really affect anything. The iron, however, was dangerous — it had a broken plug, with exposed wiring. I didn't iron my shirt. The room was at the front of the hotel, so passing traffic occasionally caused a bit too much noise, but it generally wasn't intrusive. But the lack of care shown around various parts of the room meant I wasn't sleeping well anyway. Regardless of how good it might have been, that all took more than an edge off it.

Bit hit and miss if I’m honest. Room was great, loads of space and lovely to have our own private hot tub. Our primary reason for choosing this hotel was its proximity to The Falcon Steakhouse where we were going for dinner one night so location was spot on. Service at the hotel left a lot to be desired. Had to wait almost an hour for afternoon tea, had to ask for milk for our tea (20 mins after our tea was brought out), had to ask for butter for our toast at breakfast, no toilet roll after the cleaner had made up our room - just seemed a bit relentless.

Two overnight stays with breakfast attending a wedding there. Stayed in cottage sectioned off with 4 separate accommodations. Bathroom needs upgrading. Comfortable bedding with hospitality tray well stocked. Public rooms comfortable and interesting with lovely prints and ornaments suited to the character of the building. When arrived accommodation absolutely freezing. Manager quickly sorted out. Full English breakfast on the Saturday very disappointing. Cold plate. Cold food. Hotel gave refund for this breakfast. Next morning lovely scrambled egg and salmon. Staff made us feel special. My wee dog loved the fuss including breakfast. Beautiful wedding and venue. However rather expensive for what it is for bed and breakfast.

A delightful, homely hotel with friendly, helpful staff in a beautiful area. There were eight of us and all four rooms were lovely, and very comfortable. The food was delicious with a great selection at breakfast. We were there during a very cold spell in January and the roaring fires made it very cosy and welcoming. Our visit was a family get together and it was lovely that all our rooms were in the main building. We would certainly recommend this hotel and we wished we could have stayed longer, it all helped to make our time together very special.

Wonderful 4 night stay over Christmas, great base to explore local towns. So used to limited staff post pandemic, not the case here a young professional team with impeccable manners and warmth. The Chef or chef's are a real talent too food was faultless. Stay, relax and spoil yourselves.

We had our wedding reception here in September and couldn't have been happier with how it went. Julia the wedding planner helped us plan the entire day and was very helpful at answering any questions we had. We never felt that we were being pressured into spending money on stuff we didn't want and we never had any surprise fees! On the day Ian the manager was amazing. The day went perfectly and all the staff were so friendly, attentive and professional. Thank you for making our wedding the best day ever!

We stayed here for one night to celebrate our Wedding anniversary. The room was clean and spacious. We had dinner from the bar menu which was excellent. Breakfast the following morning was great too. The staff were so polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
