The bedrooms are compact / bijou, but comfortable and well equipped, with a fitted wardrobe, dressing table with chair, and separate toilet / shower room. Ground floor dining room for breakfast, and a small lounge / bar and another small lounge. Small reception area. Will look after luggage before and after rooms available. No lift. Quite a few steps and stairs. (And therefore a hotel with character!) Looked as though there is a hot tub on a small patio. Well located in the city centre area. A ten minute pretty level walk from the railway station. Close to lots of restaurants, pubs and cafes. The young lady who was on duty the weekend we stayed (21 - 23 Nov) was very helpful, friendly and professional. Would stay there again.

Great hotel, lovely rooms. Only reason it doesn't get 5* is because it was quite loud outside in the early morning, as there was a delivery of beer barrels to the pub opposite. Other than that we really enjoyed.

A last minute online search for a hotel resulted in a wonderful but brief stay at Harington's. Beautifully clean room with charming, quirky decor. Extremely comfortable bed with quality bedlinen. Very peaceful at night with no noise from the street. In the morning a delicious breakfast, cooked fresh to order with good coffee. Super service from all staff, especially the lady on reception as I arrived very late in the evening and she sent me two texts with information and to make sure I was on my way. I will definitely return and recommend to others. Only slight downside was the lack of black out blinds as the street lights did come through the curtains.

For the most part, the staff was pleasant. The first floor is cozy and nicely decorated. Breakfast was included with our room and had a good selection. The location in Bath is excellent. In a Scandinavian context, the label β€˜boutique hotel’ raises certain expectations that were not quite met here. The biggest issue for us was, unfortunately, a heatwave during our stay. Our room was at the very top of the building. With no AC, it became incredibly, unbearably hot. We were out most of the day and in written contact with the hotel about practical matters. When we asked for a fan, they simply stopped responding. One could, of course, have pushed harder, but in the hotel business – especially if presenting as a more premium option – guests shouldn’t need to push or request such basic things. It would have been welcome if the hotel had made a greater effort to make the stay more comfortable. We were on a longer trip through England with heavy luggage. Since there was no elevator, we had to carry our bags up the narrow staircase. Also very hot. The nights were long – it was extremely difficult to sleep in a room that stayed above 30 degrees. We had to leave the windows and shutters wide open. Aside from the loss of privacy due to neighboring buildings, this also let in all the noise from the busy street below: pub crowds, countless seagulls, garbage collection early in the morning, and deliveries to nearby businesses. Very little sleep. Check-in itself was smooth and easy to do online in advance. At that time, we were informed that the bathroom shower was dripping. We were told it was silent and wouldn’t disturb us, but that someone might stop by to check it, provided it was fine with us. Of course, we agreed, and were promised advance notice. In reality, a plumber later just walked straight into the room without warning. He apologized profusely, countless times, but still – if you say you will give notice, then you should actually do so.

The location is perfect for exploring Bath and there are loads of cafes/bars nearby. The hotel itself is a bit outdated tho. 425Β£ for 2 nights and air conditioning didn’t work properly, no fridge in a room, shower pressure not great etc. the bathtub was a lovely bonus and the location really saved the place. Otherwise..wouldn’t come back.

Lovely hotel! The room was nice and clean, smelled lovely. Beds were very comfy. The full English breakfast was included because we booked directly with the hotel. And it was very nice! We will definitely be back.

Charming little hotel in a Georgian town house. Super welcoming, caring, and personal. Great communication and informative. Central to Bath City, Everything at 5 minutes walk. Booked a standard room (last available at time of booking), which was a tight fit and on the top floor. Still cosy, clean, and comfortable. Lovely breakfast!

We had an amazing weekend stay at Harington's Hotel! The property is very centrally located, with all of the sites we wanted to visit within a ten minute walk. The accommodations are extremely nice and cozy - our room was beautifully decorated and it really felt very welcoming. But the best part by far were the staff members - everyone was so kind and genuine. Especially memorable were our interactions with Heather, who worked the front desk when we arrived - she told us about the history of the hotel and made us feel so welcome. A big part of visiting Bath for me was the opportunity to visit the bookstores and Heather shared in my joy at having found some books I was really excited about. It really made my day to interact with her and it made me feel so excited about staying at the hotel. I don't think we could have had a better experience.

We had the loveliest stay here this weekend. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were so lovely. We had treats left on our bed for us and were made to feel very welcome. We rented the private hot tub for an hour which was private and great value, was a perfect extra which made our stay feel more special. A hidden treasure in Bath and we will definitely be back!

A rare example where the hotel is nicer than the website's pictures! Also, centrally located near the Roman Baths, the Abbey Church, etc. There were absolutely NO DISAPPOINTMENTS with this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and well-decorated, and the room was in nearly pristine condition, with frame art on the walls, a comfy bed, and furniture that actually looked like it belonged together in the room. Some hotels show a room that looks staged on their websites, and it's little more than a cell with blank walls, but Harrington's Hotel was decorated like I would decorate my own home! WELL DONE!! Also the bathroom was beautiful, modern, CLEAN, and everything worked 100% This is absolutely a hotel that we would return to, without hesitation. If there were any issues, it would have been that (I believe) there was no lift in the hotel, but the hotel staff hauled our bags to the room for us. They offered to, as well. Also, parking is off-site, and not intuitive to get to for first-timers, but these two "issues" are just what comes along with a city like Bath, UK, where the buildings and roads are hundreds of years old. Again, though, the staff offered excellent directions and guidance. THIS HOTEL IS DEFINITELY AN EXCELLENT CHOICE!!!
