βLovely traditional room. Great view. Special attentions for our dog, dog box (ball, treats, biscuits, poo bags), as well as a bed he loved and food bowls. Needed an earlier breakfast, which was no problem. Jean-Luc was very attentive to our needs, and we had a lovely stay in this beautiful part of Bath!β
βI took my friend here for afternoon tea to celebrate her birthday and the whole experience was an absolute delight! The building and dining room are beautiful and all the staff were so thoughtful and attentive. The afternoon tea itself was really lovely and the food was delicious. My friend was really impressed with her vegan afternoon tea as well. A really nice touch was the unexpected complimentary glasses of prosecco as a birthday treat! 10/10 would definitely recommend!β
βWe stayed for 2 nights at The Yard after our wedding and it was great. The location is fantastic and very central which makes walking to the city centre easy. The rooms are nicely finished and clean with a great bathroom. Really comfortable beds and in a very quiet location too.β
βI've only stayed for one night but I was very happy with choosing this place. It is clean and the room was lovely. The staff was very nice. If ever in Bath again, I will consider staying here.β
βHomewood hosted our wedding in August this year (2025) and I couldnβt praise them enough. Lucie, our events manager, was incredible and supported us so much throughout all the planning. The weekend of the wedding, the team were incredible, nothing was too much to ask and they really looked after us and all our guests. It really was the perfect venue for us and we cannot wait to go back each year for our anniversary. Thank you so much Homewood team, you really helped make our wedding day perfect! βAbsolutely brilliant. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. From the initial greeting, grand tour and room in the amazing gardens - wow! This hotel is set in magnificent grounds. I am actually out of superlatives! On top of all this the staff are brilliant. Most of them seem very young but are a credit to the Pig Group. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every aspect. Thanks for the birthday cookies!β
βLovely lodge everything you need. Kids very impressed with WiFi. Bistro on site amazing food and value for money cost online with any pub you go to staff all lovely. 15m drive to bath ( in bath no free parking for disabled and expensive ) Only complaint was did put on booking someone with mobility issue but parking on a slight incline (luckily the person with mobility issues didn't come) so was not a issue in this occasion but could of been. Curtains a bit frayed but no means spoilt the visit. Would def go back.β
βWe had a wonderful 2 night stay at your hotel. Hotel was great, staff were so friendly, polite and helpful. Lovely breakfast and dinner. Location was great. Bus stop at the bottom of the drive which every bus went into city centre. Thank you to all the staff.β
β6/5 All. Day. Long! Royal treatment from arrival to departure. Itβs the little things - name placard on door, beautifully presented gifts on the bed, warm welcomes from every single staff member, gorgeous grounds and perfect cocktails and a lovely breakfast made this stay absolutely incredible. Walk everywhere (ok β¦ downhill - but then just Uber up!) I felt bathed in luxury the entire time I was there. Large, well appointed rooms. Luxurious bed and bedding! And, very serene. Go live your own Bridgerton moment! You deserve it.β
βI donβt normally leave reviews but wanted to recognise the excellence of the team at No.15 in hosting a special birthday dinner for my wife and 12 friends. The service was impeccable - attentive but discrete, and the food of excellent quality. The private dining room has a large single table and high ceilings and was perfect for dinner parties. Lucy was also great with the booking - thank you all.β
βWe cannot fault our stay at Hotel Indigo, Bath. We were greeted so warmly by Emily & Alberto. Our vaulted room was incredible!! It was spacious, clean, comfortable & it had the biggest bath tub we've ever seen!! The hotel is located close to the city centre & was only a short stroll to the famous Roman Baths. In the evening, we spent some time in the bar & had some delicious cocktails. Check-out was quick & easy. We would absolutely recommend Hotel Indigo, Bath & we are definitely looking forward to staying again one day.β
βAmazing. Our room was lovely. Staff were lovely (thanks Noah in the bar). Perfectly located for everywhere. Lovely breakfast. I wish the walled garden had been promoted a little more as we didn't know it was there. Lovely free standing bath in our bathroom. Super fluffy towels. Lots of lovely little lounges to sit in and free tea/coffee and newspapers. I begrudge paying to parkβ
βA last minute online search for a hotel resulted in a wonderful but brief stay at Harington's. Beautifully clean room with charming, quirky decor. Extremely comfortable bed with quality bedlinen. Very peaceful at night with no noise from the street. In the morning a delicious breakfast, cooked fresh to order with good coffee. Super service from all staff, especially the lady on reception as I arrived very late in the evening and she sent me two texts with information and to make sure I was on my way. I will definitely return and recommend to others. Only slight downside was the lack of black out blinds as the street lights did come through the curtains.β
βBooked in for Sunday roast which I can honestly say was the best roast I've had for a long time. So many pubs do roast very average but this was way above that. Everything was cooked lovely and the service was great. Well worth a visit and we'll definitely be back.β
βAn absolutely fantastic venue and staff! My daughter got Married here in December & we couldnβt have asked for more! Everything was perfect & the staff did a marvellous job through the weekend! A special mention to Jenna who braved the rain with drinks while the last photos were taken! Youβre a star!!β
βThe hotel is in a perfect spot, easy to find and close to everything. It was spotless throughout, which made our stay feel comfortable and relaxed. A special mention must go to Shannon on the front desk, who made such a wonderful first impression. She greeted us with genuine warmth, professionalism, and a bright smile that instantly made us feel welcome. Itβs rare to meet someone who combines friendliness with such efficiency, she really set the tone for our stay. Shannon is a real credit to the team and made all the difference to our experience.β
βAbsolutely superb from startbto finish. Met by the gentleman doorman...reception staff were brilliant. Stunning room and incredible facilities. Loved the smooth radio station on in the room to arrive to. Great bar staff, excellent service, just wish we had the time to have had our evening meal there. Perfect location. Historic and so well maintained. The breakfast was second to none. Highly Highly recommend it.β
βFirst class, we received excellent service, from the bar to the restaurant. We were well looked after, the wine was excellent and the food delicious, can recommend the sea bass as well as the lamb. The food was cooked to order and arrived hot. A thoroughly enjoyable experience, we will dine here again.β
βWe stayed at Bath Townhouse this weekend as a party of 7 hens and 1 bride to be, on the ground floor. What a fabulous place it is! It's in a really central location, so we could get to all the places we needed to within 5-10 mins on foot. It has chic decor, plenty of room and an awesome "cavern" area for parties. We were given everything we needed as well. The beds are so comfy I fell asleep immediately!! A must stay if you're going to Bath in a big group. Thank you for hosting us!β
βWe had such a wonderful experience staying at Hope Place 29B! It was definitely our home away from home. Sam thought of everything, we are back home in the Netherlands and we are still talking about missing our cozy Bath home. Highly recommended! Nagesse & Marcelβ
βAmazing location for walking. The friendliest of welcomes. Very nice setup with guest area for making drinks and also a nice place to sit and enjoy the views, and on this occasion the new lambs. Everything you could need. The room was beautifully decorated. Dinner was by far the best quality of the whole trip. Hearty portion too. Immaculately clean rooms. Breakfast was carefully prepared according to request taken the previous evening. If youβre looking for a standout stay we suggest you book now.β
βClean and tidy, great host, fantastic Japanese breakfast of Rice and Miso. Easy to deal with, flexible. What all B&B experiences should be like. Perfect place to stay if going to Bath races, 5mins in a taxi.β
βBeautiful location, the communication was excellent and everything was so lovely! Really happy with our visit :)β
βHappy Hounds is a great daycare setting for dogs. Sue and Sally look after my dog on a Monday each week, they are really great and good communication after each session with any potential issues or just feedback on a great day. The setting itself is ideal for the dogs, a lovely big bit of space and a cabin area for a bit of a lunchtime nap! Also great value for money, would highly recommend.β
βMy cats very anxious but think she enjoyed her stay.very clean cattery got no faults and the staff are caring and lovelyβ
βThis is a two star hotel with a five-star attitude. The rooms are immaculately appointed en-suite doubles traditionally designed to deliver old-fashioned comfort and ambience. Cleanliness and high standards of maintenance are everywhere. The public areas are warm and welcoming beyond what many other hotels ever achieve; this is a real home from home. The restaurant, bar, and lounge combine a subtle balance of intimacy and homely warmth that affords guests their own choice of personal space or friendly interaction with other guests. The restaurant's generous and varied gourmet menu brings you first-class choices from simple farmhouse trad dinning to four course gourmet feasts that will delight you. The wine menu is a superb selection of fine wines for every occasion which the hosts will be delighted to advise you on if you wish. The heart of The Old Malt House is the delightful family who own and run it. They host their home and their business with dedication that is reflected in every aspect of what they do and you expect. If you value the genuine, old fashioned values of service and hospitality from a family run hotel, you have arrived at the right place. In comparison with similar hotels and restaurants in Bath, the Old Malt House offers you superior value for money, service and quality of life than any other establishment. Don't get stuck in town, step 6 miles South of Bath and experience beautiful, ancient rural Wiltshire first hand.β
βCouldnβt say more about our stay. Warmly greeted by cheerful and helpful staff. Primary contact at front desk (reception area pictured) during our stay was Charlie - informative and positive. We stayed in Rm 28 which looked over Bathβs recreation field (bowling lawn and croquet field) with Abbey in the distance. Only downside was lack of storage - challenge for us as we had a 5 night stay (seems most folks have shorter stays). The Plate has a good breakfast and dinners were varied and good (had our first Sunday roast beef dinner and it was memorable). Location provides 10-15 minute walkable access to a number of activities (rowing on the Avon, viewed our first cricket match, the Holbourne Museum, and all that Bath proper has to offer). I asked a former co-worker (Brit ex-pat) best place for holiday in Britain and he replied quickly, Bath. The Bird Bath made it that much better. Highly recommend.β
βThe rooms are clean, modern and have everything you need! Staff are friendly, polite and helpful- even when busy! Tasty breakfast included in the price! Absolutely brilliant! What more could you ask for- would definitely stay again!β
βA beautiful and well looked after guesthouse. We enjoyed every part of our stay from the greeting at check-in, to the beautifully cosy room, a very quiet nights sleep and a delicious breakfast this morning. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you.β
βFirst time of staying here, was absolutely spot on, from checking in to checking out. Already booked again, was so impressed! There is a lift to the floors but also a few stairs too, although I was told and offered help. My room was just perfect. Very clean and comfy, bed was a delight. Lovely toiletries. Plenty of tea/coffee/milk etc. There was a fridge, what a bonus. I didnβt struggle with parking, yes Β£15 per 24hrs but it is what it is, Iβve paid lots more in Bath and it was a fair distance to walk to my accommodation. I personally didnβt sample any food. A great place to stay - highly recommend. Thank you to all concerned for making my stay so memorableβ
