βIncredible customer service & attention to detail. Lucy from the store and the main delivery person went above & beyond to help us and provide exceptional customer service without the high pressured sale and because of this, I'd definitely go back as well as recommend them to others.β
βOne of the greatest Hotels we've ever stayed. Fantastic beer packages (we enjoyed the beer school and our tap at the room), great food, friendly staff and overall a complete new and amazing experience. I wish an expansion of Doghouse Hotels all over the world!β
βBy far one of the best hotels I have ever been to, Taia (unsure of spelling) the receptionist was the kindest sweetest person and made for hospitality. She made us feel so so welcome. Our Rooms facilities were INCREDIBLE the whole concept of the hotel is so chill and welcoming. Only teeny tiny little thing is the coffee could be replenished daily but that is me absolutely nitpicking. It was a perfect experience all around. (Wouldnβt recommend for young kids, seems more catered to adults/teens which I appreciated)β
βThe appartment was beautiful! Very bright and spacious. The location was really close to the old town and main attractions. We didnβt even use the bus, it was like 20 min walking distance. Definitely recommend!β
βVery helpful front desk. No lift but Karlite from the front office efficiently helped with all our 8 luggages. A cosy and clean place, the 2 bedroom apartment is spacious and centrally located.β
βHad a lovely stay here, was a little concerned about plane noise, but didn't have any disturbance at all. The spa was very nice, and breakfast was good as well, and friendly staff throughout. The Christmas decorations really added to the vibe as well!β
βNice and clean, pub onsite, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Bus stop outside that goes to and from the city centre.β
βOur wedding reception dinner at The Bonham was splendid. The staff were exceptionally helpful and worked with us beforehand to make sure everything went perfectly. The dinner itself was quite possibly the finest weβve experienced. The food was delicious, and the service was seamless. Cannot recommend enough, and we will be returning if weβre ever in Edinburgh again.β
βYou must stay at this hotel! Not only is the location absolutely perfect, the room is so smartly designed and the beds were so comfortable. The decor was absolutely fantastic as well. Despite its location, the hotel was very quiet. The staff were super wonderful and helpful, and gave us great recommendations for food and drink along with some fun history about Edinburgh (a special shout-out to Martin). Would stay here again 10/10β
βAbsolutely perfect! The location is ideal. The rooms are impeccable. The staff, wow where to start? From the moment you walk in the staff is extremely welcoming kind and warm. The personnel at the bar is so friendly and fun, Leon & Lauren are the best, what a treat this stay was. I recommend 100%. Canβt wait to go back.β
βThis place is an absolute gem! I recently booked a couple of nights at Garvock house very last minute whilst driving to the west of Scotland to visit family. Decided to break up the journey and so glad that I chose here! The hotel grounds and garden are beautiful and such a lovely, peaceful area to relax in. The room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped, and the staff were all excellent. I completely fell in love with this place and already looking to rebook for a few more days later in the year :)β
βWe came for Sunday lunch. The food was very good. The service was discrete and there when you needed it. We're there tiny niggles, of course, the potatoes served with my roast beef were not Roux standard, the asparagus risotto was a bit tight and lacked a bit of zing. The vegetarian courses lacked protein. But these are tiny things in a tapestry of happiness, from the entry, to the coffee, to the pics in the lovely garden it was a day's life in a country mansion and we left very pleased. We loved the lounge with the books and fire and could happily have stayed forever.β
βExcellent reception! Although we arrived early, they welcomed us warmly and prepared the rooms for us. They even upgraded our room, which was a wonderful surprise. The hotelβs location is truly fantastic, and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. A special thanks to the young lady who received us β her hospitality was outstanding. Fahad & Mahaβ
βJade works the centre like a proβcalm, knowledgeable, and effortlessly cool. She answers questions like sheβs got a PhD in pets, and somehow makes everything seem simple. No fuss, just solid advice and a great attitude. Definitely someone you want around when youβre trying to figure out the world of pet care.β
βLovely place for a pint or two. The staff are so lovely and it is very kid friendly. Definitely recommend this place to anyoneβ
βWe were gifted a voucher for Dinner Bed &Breakfast as we decided to stay Sunday to Monday we opted for Sunday late lunch and the Bed & Breakfast. From when we arrived we had a very friendly welcome from the reception staff, we were given all the information details. The room was very clean with everything needed for our stay . We had a 3 course lunch which was excellent and the best Sunday lunch we have had in a very long time. As it was an anniversary we had complementary Champagne, the service was exceptional with at least 3 different staff attending us nothing was too much trouble and at the end of the meal we were given a plate with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate with Turkish delight and chocolates very nice touch. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and again excellent service would like to thank Kirsty and all the staff we will definitely come back. Ann and Andy Brownβ
βVery friendly and helpful staff. Great location in the city, but not too busy of a spot, so no loud noises waking you up. Rooms are very comfortable, bed was soft and cushioned but supportive, very comfortable. We had room service the first night since we got in kind of late. Food was pretty good. Would stay here again and highly recommend the hotel.β
βwas not a guest at the hotel but came by for dinner at the court, and was perhaps the best meal of my whole time in edinburgh. the staff were all lovely and attentive, without being overbearing. we had the tasting menu, and the food was all so delicious, the wine pairings absolutely perfect. will definitely be back to try the signature dishes. i would recommend highly to stop by on any visit or special occasion, the space is exceptional and the service was top notch. a special shoutout to elena too for taking care of us all night and making our evening so wonderful, she was exceptional all night making all the right touches that gave for the most wonderful time. thank you all, look forward to visiting again soon!β
βThis is the second time I have stayed here. This visit however, was nicer. I was met with very friendly staff as always upon checking in. We were then told that we had been selected for a free upgrade to a suite and was given free parking as well as a welcome drink each and some lovely shortbread for our room. This was such a lovely surprise and made our trip even more special. The hotel is always lovely and clean, not to mention very handy for the tram. I will most definitely come back here. The staff are an asset to the place. You are made to feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble for them. Highly recommend this hotel.β
βOur second stay at the Ibis Styles St. Andrews Square was just as pleasant our first. The staff was friendly and super helpful, calling a taxi, cleaning up breakfast dishes, guiding our dining choices, etc. The rooms are small but very efficiently appointed. The shower worked well, the bed was comfortable, and we had everything we needed, even fresh milk to go with the water kettle and tea/coffee. Breakfast was wonderful! It offered everything you could possibly need, and we super enjoyed the nice coffee machine for coffee options. The location was excellent for visiting Edinburgh for a couple of days. Taxi rides were not very expensive, and dinner was walkable. I would say the only frustrating thing about the rooms was the lack of any counter space or hooks for placing clothes and toiletries. In our room, instead of a huge sink basin, a small sink basin with surround counter would not have taken up more space but would have been helpful. Also, the last time we stayed, the dΓ©cor involved cheery, fun pinks and greens with thistle images spread across the walls. I can see where maybe a change was desired, but we really did not prefer the Picasso-esque drawings of distorted naked people and even an orgy over the bed in one of the rooms. The dΓ©cor was a change but not an improvement. It seems maybe Ibis is aiming for a different clientele than in previous years. But we would stay again in a heartbeat.β
βTop class hotel, they staff are really lovely people, its a credit to management. They were so good with our kids. Breakfast was excellent. Lovely cocktails. Location is really good, 3 min walk to haymarket to get all buses/trams and trains. We used 2 taxi in 4 days. Will definitely recommend again. If youre coming with kids please check out cupapug around corner. A cafe with pug dogs. We loved itβ
βFriendliest Cosyiest in Auld Reekie - Edinburgh We recall with emotion the year 1965 when our Founder and Group Chairman Emeritus together with three Scottish friends got together in the very George Hotel in order to found our Catalyst ThinkTank. What was then a vision and mission of unattached independent liberal minds is today a success story throughout the world. The George Hotel is also amongst us welcoming and obliging more than ever particularly during these trying times for all. A vibrant Vote of Thanks indeed, to everyone ever so welcoming, courteous, supportive and always obliging to our members, colleagues and friends from all over the world when in Auld Reekie at the George. From breakfast to dinner all is destined to please and is excelling. Whenever we entertain friends, guests or colleagues the warm, friendly courteous and obliging members of staff nowadays are ever so wonderful. Bless your Hearts.! Very much Commended.β

βthe staff at this place bring a really welcoming atmosphere β especially jade who helped me pick the best grooming supplies for my shepherd. thanks!β
βAn amazing service. I was very nervous leaving my cat while I went away but after I met Angela in the pre house visit I was put at ease. It is clear how much she loves animals and my usually timid cat went to her straight away...even climbed on her back. My cat was taking medication which was no problem for Angela and they sent me daily updates including pictures. I would not trust any other company to look after my girl! A***β
