    Tried out their restaurant and enjoyed the general Christmas decorated ambience. Slightly spoiled by an undecorated large table from a previous event. Completely out of place in the centre of the room. Food was underwhelming, all three courses offered a unique flavour from warm smoked haddock, Turkey in a sauce and a Baileys flavour desert. My memory is; tiny piece of fish, large lump of stuffing and a mystery as to where the Baileys was hidden, so far as to be tasteless. The accompanying red wine was dry and wet. I'd liked to have said fruity or full bodied, but it was neither. Staff were excellent. Don't really like automatic service charges. But we would have tipped regardless.

    Our wedding reception dinner at The Bonham was splendid. The staff were exceptionally helpful and worked with us beforehand to make sure everything went perfectly. The dinner itself was quite possibly the finest we’ve experienced. The food was delicious, and the service was seamless. Cannot recommend enough, and we will be returning if we’re ever in Edinburgh again.

    What a fab location, nice and quiet with a lovely view over the communal garden. We had a room on the third floor with amazing views over Edinburgh. The room was clean and well presented, with some lovely touches you wouldn't normally see. Also had a small carpark at the back of the hotel. The best part was the lovely staff.. all so friendly and willing to help. We would love to come back again

    Old and it shows. The carpet in the room was dirty with patches. The furniture covers were old and not clean. Likely not been updated in a while. Service was good. Breakfast was ok in terms of taste. Everything felt old and not kept up well. Location is good.

Thank you for your kind attention to our 3rd wedding anniversary and for preparing such a lovely welcome with macarons and chocolate. It added a beautiful touch to our special day. The reception was warm, the service was exceptional, and the staff were always polite, friendly, and smiling.     Lovely city centre hotel of quality. Others will speak of the nice bar and decent breakfast but it was the polished friendliness of the staff and attention to detail that impressed me. A trivial example - software on the in room TV allowing you to cast from your smartphone.

    Such a perfect spot to stay while in Edinburgh. The staff were lovely, the rooms were clean and comfy. The breakfast was exceptional, amazing selection of whisky for after dinner. Excellent bathroom products. Had a very lovely stay I highly recommend.

    Very nice boutique hotel. Great customer service. Tucked away in a low traffic neighborhood but convenient walk to most everything to see. Lots of wedding parties held there as it's across from a nice park. The only downside was there is no air conditioning and Europe was experiencing a heat wave when we were there.
