   Excellent service in lovely quirky hotel. As it is brewery owned there is opportunity to drink beer everywhere in the hotel - even in the shower! Its a popular bar so hotel residents have a separate lounge area accessible with their room key. Its great!

   While our one-night stay at the DogHouse was brief, our dog was treated like the true VIP of our visit to Edinburgh. Waiting in our room was a generous welcome basket for our pup stocked with treats, toys, and even a bottle of BrewDog’s dog-friendly “beer.” It was such a thoughtful touch, and a clear sign that the hotel genuinely celebrates its canine guests. The staff were equally lovely, making sure we had everything we needed and holding & bringing up our luggage prior to check-in. It never felt like bringing a dog was an inconvenience and instead, our experience felt like the hotel was designed for exactly this kind of stay. The BrewDog DogHouse rooms are modern, spacious, and full of quirky décor, comfortable bedding, and cleverly-designed amenities like in-room beer taps. There was plenty of space for the dog bed provided by the hotel, and the floors are practical for pups who shed or come in with rain on their paws. The hotel’s central location is fantastic for exploring Edinburgh on foot, as you’re close to restaurants, shops, and major attractions. However, the one downside dog owners should know is that there isn’t much green space immediately nearby. It wasn’t impossible to find a place for our dog to potty, but it did require a bit of wandering and planning. If your dog prefers quick access to grass, this is something to keep in mind. Not a deal-breaker, but definitely worth noting! That said, the overall experience was incredibly positive. The hotel atmosphere is relaxed and fun, and dogs are welcomed throughout common areas. Whether you’re hanging out in your room or heading down to the BrewDog bar for a drink, your pup stays part of the action at the DogHouse hotel.

   Had a lovely night's stay here. Was well looked after as a solo female travelling with two dogs. Excellent chicken burger for dinner, brilliant guest lounge and work stations. Room was very cool, with a record player and lots of funky touches, marked down only because the door had an issue, which wasn't sorted in my stay (it locked okay, but stuck open and had to be pulled closed). Great location close to the train station. No car park on site, but the NCP is only about 4 mins walk if you go via the alleyways.

   One of the greatest Hotels we've ever stayed. Fantastic beer packages (we enjoyed the beer school and our tap at the room), great food, friendly staff and overall a complete new and amazing experience. I wish an expansion of Doghouse Hotels all over the world!

   Stayed for one night pre flight the next day. Also happened to be the start of fringe, pot luck. Great location near the Royal Mile. We struck it lucky with the weather so the rooftop bar was well used! Staff were great, attentive and interactive. The room was superb, set over two floors, kids loved the novelty of it all. Whilst I loved the beer fridge in the shower. Like most cities, the cost of drinks spoil it. But we knew that before we arrived. Breakfast was great and any meal I seen being served looked spot on. Definitely be back!

   Had a lunch mid week. Staff was friendly and helpful, tho the regular Check felt somewhat forced... The food was nice and most common dishes had a nice twist on them. The wait was normal and the beer / drink selection pretty nice as you would expect from a Brewery related place! Prices are on the high side of regular Pubs and the atmosphere pleasing. Mind the sides are extra. Location is great, 2min walk from Waverley. I would come back and recommend.

   One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff were brilliant, helpful and friendly. The room was incredible. The lounge and bar areas were welcoming, clean and modern. Brewdog have thought of everything! I visited with my dog in October and we were made incredibly welcome and will definitely be returning. I will be telling all my friends and family about how great this hotel is.

   On arrival we were greeted with a welcome drink which was a great touch. Our room was excellent with record player and guitar in the room. I took the top dog package which included a beer tap and beer fridge which was superb. The staff were very friendly and we took part in the beer school and again staff were very knowledgeable and picked some excellent beers for us to try. The food was excellent and the quality was superb. We ate breakfast before we checked out and again one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. We really enjoyed our stay and again all staff were brilliant. I will be definitely staying here again in the future.

   I booked a night in the Barnard Castle Eye Test suite for my husband’s birthday and I can confirm that the place did not disappoint! The room itself was incredible with so many cool features like the guitar we could play, the record player along with some excellent Scottish musicians albums and of course the shower beers! The fact we could just text staff with any questions or requests was so handy too. The lobby area was beautiful and stocked with plenty of board games and even a pick n mix station. We dropped our bags in early and when we went to check in, staff had already put our bags in the room. We were also offered a drink on the house which was a lovely touch. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. No request was too much. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel to any beer lovers out there. It’s a solid 10/10 and we will definitely be back!
