   I stayed Sunday night with my mum to go to the Christmas markets. We arrived after 8pm So reception was closed, but accessing the property was made easy for us which after a long day travel was very appreciated! When we explored the communal areas we were greeted with a stunning lounge complete with a coal fire and Christmas tree. There was also a flask of mulled wine and mince pies to help ourselves to for a small fee. Our room was on the ground floor, which was a relief again after the journey, especially for my mums physical ailments. I felt the hotel had read my mind, as I hadn’t asked for a downstairs room. Looking at the photos all the bedrooms are very thoughtfully decorated in a period style which I absolutely adored! (I personally don’t like the more modern style). Our room was no different, I loved the posts on the bed giving the bed the posh feel of sleeping in a 4 poster! The bed was absolutely massive, so it was no problem sharing. The room was warm and clean as well as lovely. I think this hotel has thought of everything and is run very professionally. I wanted for nothing and this is a credit to the staff. At breakfast we had a chin-wag with the chef and left the breakfast room full from all the goodies on offer. I’m actually new to writing reviews. I don’t doubt my 5 star review. I’d be absolutely delighted to stay at Brooks again. The biggest attraction for me is the accessible (affordable) cost, which with basic living being so tight, it feels a relief to be able to access one night of luxury. Without reasonable prices like Brooks, I wouldn’t be able to go to Bath at all. A sincere thanks from me and my mother for making our dream trip to Bath such a pleasure.

   Lovely place to stay in Bath, we throughly enjoyed our stay, just wish we could have stayed longer. Friendly staff, lovely clean rooms, tasty breakfast and it's only a 10 minute walk away from the town. I would definitely recommend.

   A beautiful and well looked after guesthouse. We enjoyed every part of our stay from the greeting at check-in, to the beautifully cosy room, a very quiet nights sleep and a delicious breakfast this morning. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you.

   Great place to stay for a weekend trip to bath. Cozy rooms with big beds in an unique old and artistic building with a lovely cozy lounge. Lovely and friendly staff and superb home cooked and locally sourced breakfast!

   Dear Brooks Guest House I am writing this review to express my sincere gratitude for the wonderful experience I had during my recent stay at your guest house. Your staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and I was impressed by the level of service provided. In particular, I wanted to express my appreciation for the delicious breakfasts served each morning. The variety of options available was impressive, and everything tasted absolutely delicious. I especially enjoyed the continental breakfast, but I must admit that I would have loved to see boiled eggs included as an option. Despite this minor suggestion, I cannot emphasize enough how much I enjoyed my stay at your guest house. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I cannot thank you and your team enough for making my visit so memorable.    Stayed for two nights in December for the Christmas Market. The staff were excellent and you could see they work very hard. We just had the continental breakfast however I could see the cooked breakfast which was only a £6 supplement was well worth the money! The room was clean and represented good value.

   Really enjoyed our stay here. Overall good service from all notably from Patricia who was helpful during booking, checking in and all other times that we needed any advise. Location is very good too not far from the main sights. Room was very clean. Breakfast was good too. Would definitely consider coming back.

   Location, staff and service. Clean, tidy and excellent breakfast. Staff were friendly, kind and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Needed an extra guest to stay at short notice and Magda made sure the room was set up and ready on our return. Lovely lounge and very handy honesty bar.

   Had a lovely 3 day break here. Visited 4 years ago and were not disappointed . Standards still as high, staff friendly and attentive, particularly at breakfast. Breakfasts excellent with good choice and freshly prepared to order. Spacious room and very comfortable bed .Location great and permit available for parking. 10 minute walk to centre. I'm sure we will return.
