βA wonderful place - I can't imagine being in Bath again and not staying here. It's clean, beautiful, and the service is top-notch, unmatched anywhere else. I had a lot of heavy luggage with me, and the staff helped me to deal with it. Plus, there's a beautiful common area that helps you meet some fantastic people!β
βWe recently stayed at your hotel for one night and had a wonderful experience. The next morning, we happily set off on our journey, but a few hours later we received a phone call from the hotel informing us that our jewellery box had been left in the room. Inside were my gold and pearl necklaces and other valuable items. Thanks to the honesty and professionalism of your staff β especially the housekeeping team β everything was kept safe and returned to us exactly as we left it, even after a month. We are truly impressed by the integrity, kindness, and excellent service we experienced. Please extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved, and a special appreciation to the room cleaner who found and secured our belongings. This level of honesty and care is rare, and it will always be remembered. We will definitely recommend your hotel to our friends and family, and we look forward to staying with you again in the future. Karadeniz Familyβ
βWould have given 5 stars all round but 2 days in a row we didn't get clean towels despite leaving the hanger on the door. The reception did give them to us on request though.β
βHad a lovely 2 night stay at the Old Mill Lodge. Rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Staff were fantastic, especially Ellie and a new chap who youβd think had been working there for years. They couldnβt do enough. Weβre so helpful and friendly! Would recommend this hotel to allβ
βWe stayed for 5 nights. Room was spacious for 3 of us. Breakfast really good. Stuff very friendly. Parking it available outside of the hotel however when we stayed it was very busy so I don't think there was enough parking spaces for all the guests. It's a walking distance to the city centre and petrol station and supermarket are nearby.β
βFor the price that Iβve paid, it is worth of money! Kind of Gen Z vibes. Location-wise it is 15-20 mins walk from the train station, and situated at the center of Bath. Breakfast is provided, good enough for me. They charge for the towel, 2.5Β£ and luggage storage 2Β£ per bag, but I dont find it an issue as the room price is considered affordable already. The service and staffs are friendly. Love the ambience of the place. I would consider it again if I ever come back to Bath.β
βVisited bath to relax and chill from the hustle bustle of London. Was very lucky to get to visit this hostel in bath it was very clean tidy beds were comfy. Real smart mod con facilities usb points in beds plugs even a reading light What more could you ask for. I felt like a flash packer not a backpacker βΊοΈ I Was checked in by Louise she told me all about the facilities and very professional was even given a free drink for booking on there site. She made me feel welcome great service and hospitality. Josh was great to good customer service made me feel welcome. Zach was great to very professional and helped me with all the questions I had during my stay. If your in bath definitely look these guys upβ
βWonderful two nights at the Rudloe Arms. A very unique hotel and each room is different in the manor house. Super cool furniture and photos of beautiful people on the walls. The food was great every night as well as breakfast. The staff went far and beyond making sure we had everything we needed, especially the manager Stephen. He moved my father to a room that was easier for him as he is 85 and not very mobile. We came back and all bags were moved and taken care of. It was my fatherβs birthday and they made a special desert for him. Incredible grounds as well, just a really special hotel. Will be back!β
βUnfortunately I can't say much about rooms or location, as I only entered the establishment twice this week for a course I was talking. But what i can tell you is based off of the ground floor, it Is a very nice building. A lot of charm, character and style you don't really get much of nowadays. The staff were smashing too! I may have briefly conversed with about 7 of the staff between both days. Each one as kind, friendly and well mannered as the next. One gentleman in particular, really helped a lot of us out in my course when we needed to print things off and stuff. From being in similar positions myself at work I can appreciate it may have been a pain but he was very respectful and assisted everyone. It is a shame I did not have the pleasure of attending the hotel as a room guest, as I expect I would have had a nice time. But if I am in the area again I will be sure to check it out.β
βSometimes you feel compelled to write a review. We had a last minute stay in Bath and were looking for an affordable, decent hotel close to bath but not in the centre. We found it with the Wentworth House Hotel. From the free parking, late-ish (arrived in darkness) welcome after a long drive and some good directions to our forward destination we knew we'd chosen well. Yes, there are some low star reviews for this establishment but I wonder if they picked the wrong hotel. If you're looking for swish, silver service with mints on your pillow and uniformed staff - keep looking. If you're looking for a clean, good, honest 'head down tummy full' stay, they this is perfect. Which brings me on to the breakfast - splendid stuff. Freshly cooked (they asked what time we'd be sitting down for it so it could be timed perfectly), it was hot, tasty and plentiful. And oh my, that sausage... So in list form and to conclude - free parking, lovely building, well kept facilities, a bar, good size room (with toiletries), a fabulous view, friendly welcome, excellent breakfast and just 15 minutes walk to the centre of Bath. (Take the bus back - a tip from another review and well worth doing - it's a long hill after a big meal). Thank you WHH - we'll be back.β
βHad a great stay here, the location was amazing and the staff are really friendly. Room was small but clean/comfortable. The hotel is a little dated but what do you expect from a grade ll listed Georgian building! Be aware bath has a large seagull population and you will here there wherever you are. We found them hilarious as they sounded like they were all chatting with even names one Steven!β
βPerfect location after a day of touring Bath and the Roman Baths. Prices affordable and family rooms available. Close to some great restaurants and pubs for a meal or cocktail. Paid Parking is only about a 10 minute walk and offers 24 hours parking at very affordable rates. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was that we were staying for one night - our fault not theirs. we know for future - stay longer. Loved itβ
βWe couldn't reccomend Aspire to Move enough, they have been absolutely brilliant!! Emerald and the whole team have gone above and beyond, and done everything to make our experience smooth and hassle-free. Extremely kind and helpful throughout the whole process, and during our tenancy.β
βPawsitively Happy Dogs is such an amazing service. We have a bouncy, high energy Vizsla - and they manage her so well. She loves all of the team, and she waits for them by the window. They send regular updates of pick-up times, and photos/videos of each walk. The invoice app makes booking walks easy, and the payment system is also simple to use. We've also used them for weekend dog sitting more than once - they're trustworthy and reliable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!β
βThe hotel is very pretty set on a reasonably quiet road about a twenty minute walk from the centre of Bath. Big advantage is on site parking and public transportβ¦ there is an hourly bus from pretty much outside the door and more regularly a five minute walk away. The hotel is well appointed. The bedroom well decorated, clean with a very comfortable bed. The staff were lovely. A special mention for Francesca on reception and Kaska who popped up all over the hotel and couldnβt have been more helpful. As many reviews have mentioned the breakfast was lovely. One thing we did notice was that when booking it pays to watch the pricesβ¦ we didnβtβ¦ if weβd booked a couple of days later the room would have been at a lower price. Having said that, we wanted to secure the room and we had a wonderful stay and will definitely return (with a close eye on the rates!).β
βThis campsite has it all! We loved our stay, excellent facilities that are immaculately maintained, great location, lovely friendly people. We will return and will recommend to others. I know it's all on the website anyway but we found the fridges and huge freezer really helpful for storing a few bits. Play facilities conveniently located in the middle of the campsite, good distance away from tents so not noisy but you can easily keep an eye on your kids. There's a washing machine there too and the woodfired pizzas that you can buy on Fridays and Saturdays were really good. We also recommend the pub the mill at rode, a few minutes away. Loads of great days out to be had, we enjoyed wookeyhole and trips to Frome, Wells and Shepton Mallet prison!β
βWonderful find tucked away in a residential area 10-15 walk from the town center and train station. Stayed in the twin room which was beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds. The en-suite had a good shower. It was very quiet at night, so we had a great nights sleep. The manager is very friendly, and breakfast is superb. Would definitely stay here again. The B&B is a converted house, so clothing and luggage storage space in the room was a little limited. This was fine for a short stay with overnight bags, but would have been a bit cramped if we were traveling with larger luggage.β

βVisiting for my Husbands birthday for 2 nights and absolutely loved it! The room was so lovely, spacious, smelt gorgeous and over our expectations. The owner was so helpful who we met. We knew the breakfast wasnβt being served before we booked due to renovation, but they had left fruit, treats etc which I thought was lovely. The place is at the top of a huge hill, but we drove down into town and paid to park there. If you donβt mind doing this then itβs not a problem. Would definitely stay there again!β
βMy cousin and I stayed here this past week during the Jane Austen Festival and we could not have picked a better spot! We stayed in the building overlooking the square in a second floor room. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean and well appointed. Our room did not have AC but thanks to the fall weather, we were very comfortable with the windows open at night. The front desk staff were very kind and accommodating. We did not want to leave and will absolutely stay here when we come back to the festival!β

βCan happily recommend Fidelis estate agents. We sold and purchased our new home through Fidelis. Its was a difficult transaction with a number of hurdles, but due to Patrick and Mark's hard work, we got it over the line. Fidelis' professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile really makes them stand out amongst other agents.β
βWe stayed at the Kennard Boutique Guesthouse for two nights and had a lovely visit. The check-in was super smooth even though we arrived late. The rooms were super cozy and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. All of us agree that the hotel breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk to the city centre. The neighbourhood had loads of great restaurants and felt safe in the evening. If we visit Bath again we will definitely stay here.β
βFriendly place with attentive staff. Good local real ale and cider at competitive prices. We hadn't been to Chepstow for some time but the building has been transformed in recent years and is a credit to the town.. Interior is clean, light and airy. All in all a great place to stay or just stop for a drink.β
βA unique and really special place to stay. Richard the charming owner is very welcoming and has so many great stories to tell about the history of the house. We had a wonderful night's sleep in a huge and comfortable bed followed by a delicious breakfast. I hope we can come back one day.β
βI enjoyed the night I stayed there very much. The rooms are immaculate and nicely decorated. The house is very quiet and have a lovely lounge and dining room. The location is close to Bath and some very nice villages in Wiltshire and those areas.β
βMy partner and I have been here many times and we absolutely love it! The views from the outdoor seating and beer garden are lovely anytime of day, especially in the summer, making it the perfect place to relax with a few drinks. The inside seating area has a warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for the winter, with friendly and professional staff. The food here never disappoints, with a wide range of choices, all of which are delicious! A special thanks to the Chef, Matt behind the bar and Kim who served us for the 5 star service. Thank you again to the team at The George Inn, we will be back again as always!β
βGreat place to stay in Bath. Only a short distance from the centre, lovely rooms and a good breakfast to start the day. Highly recommended.β
βStayed her with the girlfriend for four days whilst we explored Bath and surrounding area. Mainly chose it because it was one the the few B&B's that offered a destination charger which we booked for the first and last night of our stay. Very convenient and meant we didn't need to rely on public chargers while in Bath. Rooms was very nice, breakfast was good with a choice of continental, cooked, or salmon/egg choices. Overall very happy and would definitely stay again.β
βLovely rooms, food was amazing. Our room was stunning and the bed so comfortable. Only stayed for one night, but will definitely return. Finally, but most importantly, the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Love our stay.β
