   Possibly a bit out of season (late September) but I had a 4 bedroom to myself. Good clean accommodation, pleasant helpful staff who found me somewhere to park my bike. Comfortable bed. There was an open mic in the lounge which seemed quite loud but I couldn't hear anything in my room when I retired early. There was only one shower room available which was taken up by someone being sick when I got up. I approached from the front as per the postcode and Google maps and had a long flight of steps to carry loaded bike up, afterwards I found there is a test entrance which is more level.

   We turned up to what be believed to be the obvious entrance to the premises but no clear direction to indicate that the actual entrance was at the rear. A quick phone call sorted that out. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean, tidy and welcoming. We had a en-suite double room which had everything we needed. Situated in the town centre which made it an ideal point from which the town centre could be explored. Breakfast was self service in the clean dining/ kitchen area. Simple breakfast fayre offered.

   It's a nice clean hostel. A very nice building. Limited toilet/shower facilities though. My criticism is we're in a pandemic, and there's no soap in the bathroom wall dispensers. Sorry, but it beggars belief... under any circumstances tbh.

   Great location, in centre of town half way between train station and bus station. Its new in town for accommodation but with local historic interest and decorated by photographs of the area. The owner Mick is knowledgeable and is there most of the time to make sure your stay is comfortable. Its inexpensive, very clean and eco friendly. There is a kitchen to make microwave meals, coffee, tea and toast. Small bar open in the evening used mainly by locals.

   We hosted a ladies convention here, 21 ladies, excellent facilities and super clean. There was a wet room on the ground floor with bedroom near the car park. Parking for 5/6 cars. Easy to find and lounge was beautiful. Thoroughly recommend. Lots of steps good for exercise but not if you have mobility problems.

   Friendly place with attentive staff. Good local real ale and cider at competitive prices. We hadn't been to Chepstow for some time but the building has been transformed in recent years and is a credit to the town.. Interior is clean, light and airy. All in all a great place to stay or just stop for a drink.
