Lovely warm cosy, comfortable place to stay when visiting Bath. Friendly staff, great breakfasts and some of the rooms have magnificent views over the town.

Only stayed for a night and we booked the smaller room. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Was very quite at night and had a good night sleep. 20 minutes walk to the city centre. Breakfast was cooked to order and was really good. I enjoyed my stay and I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room pleasant and comfortable and the gift was a nice touch, thank you! We would have liked an adjustable shower head, and the room did feel a little dark. Breakfast both days was amazing! Overall a nice stay and would return

Stayed her with the girlfriend for four days whilst we explored Bath and surrounding area. Mainly chose it because it was one the the few B&B's that offered a destination charger which we booked for the first and last night of our stay. Very convenient and meant we didn't need to rely on public chargers while in Bath. Rooms was very nice, breakfast was good with a choice of continental, cooked, or salmon/egg choices. Overall very happy and would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for Easter weekend. Service was brilliant - staff friendly and accommodating. Parking was good and a nice 15 minute walk into town. Breakfast was great and quantities generous. We did however feel that our room was not up to standard. We stayed in room 14 and paid £400 for 2 nights. The mattress was sunken and far too soft. It felt old. Neither of us slept well at all. There was also dust on the bedside table. The rest of the rooms may have been 5 star standard but room 14 definitely wasn't. It was dated and uncomfortable. It was a shame as everything else about our stay was enjoyable.

Room was spacious and such a comfortable king size bed. Had the best sleeps ever! We were given a choice of two rooms which was so lovely. The young man who checked us in was so helpful, giving us recommendations and directions. The location of the hotel was spot on, not too far from Bath city centre to walk. Breakfast was yummy! It was the best hollandaise sauce we've had and poached eggs were cooked to perfection! Just how we liked it! Thank you for a fantastic weekend.

Beautiful hotel, well located for the town and the train station. We booked the day before staying, and found the whole process flawless. We parked on the road outside and were given a pass for the duration of our stay. The walk back from town may be tricky for people with reduced mobility, as it is at the top of a hill. The room was lovely and cosy, and had more chocolates and snacks than I'd ever seen! A couple of rogue cobwebs on the ceiling, but nothing awful. The shower was powerful and temperature control very easy to use. All staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, answering any questions we had. Breakfast was lovely - many different options, and all wonderfully cooked. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

We experienced a very warm welcome as we arrived and were given a really good introduction to not only the hotel but what to expect from Bath. Throughout our stay the staff remained helpful, friendly and interested in how we, their clients, were enjoying their stay. It was this genuine concern and desire that we should enjoy ourselves that we found refreshing. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay in Bath, we will return.

Highly recommend this hotel. Situated in walking distance of the town center. Staff were really welcoming. Spacious room, with all the added extras you would expect. Breakfast was excellent - and you could have more if wanted. Honesty bar in the living room. Would definitely be coming back.

A repeat visit to this period property. Quite a steep driveway, so wheelchair access could be hampered. A very warm welcome from lovely staff. Tastefully decorated throughout, our room was very comfortable. A choice of tea, coffee and hot chocolate with some sweet accompaniments are available in the room. A hair dryer was available in the room. Breakfast choices were excellent, with a lot of local, high quality, produce.... the salmon and breakfast sausage is worthy of special mention. A continental breakfast was also offered. Adequate parking spaces available, which is a bonus for Bath. A 15 minute downhill walk will get you to centre of Bath, but a taxi ride may well be the best way to return.... Staff were great a d very helpful. Highly recommended.
