Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful and spectacular the place was β every detail was perfect. The room was stunning, spotless, and so comfortable that we didnβt want to leave! A special shoutout to Richard, our amazing host. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and entertained us with some truly wonderful stories. His warmth and personality made our stay even more memorable. Honestly, this was one of the best experiences weβve ever had. If youβre looking for a place thatβs both luxurious and full of charm, this is the one. We canβt wait to come back!

Charming room with really a comfortable bed. Richard was a kind and humorous host. Breakfast was simple but tasty and delightful. Parking is free (behind the villa). No complaints at all and would recommend.

A beautiful and comforting place to stay! My husband and I stayed here on our first night of our trip and had a lovely time. We had a lovely conversation at breakfast with other guests as well as learning about the history of the house from Richard. We also enjoyed the beautiful walk into town. From the quaint room to the beautiful breakfast spread the next morning to the sweet nature of our host Richard. Our time at the Grosvenor villa was exceptional. Iβll always remember our special stay here.

A unique and really special place to stay. Richard the charming owner is very welcoming and has so many great stories to tell about the history of the house. We had a wonderful night's sleep in a huge and comfortable bed followed by a delicious breakfast. I hope we can come back one day.

Brilliant dog friendly place to stay within walking distance of Bath & on the bus route into town & one we will definitely be staying at again. We had a great welcome & Richard was a fantastic host. Our room was clean, warm & well appointed with a tv, refreshments (including wine) & even dressing gowns! The room decor, along with the house, will keep you interested with paintings, ceramics and all kinds of other ornaments, plus the amazing Italianate alter & flooring from Bath Abbey in the entrance lobby (see photo). It's definitely the poshest place we've stayed with our dog! Breakfast was tasty and very generous & Richard had really gone out of his way to accommodate my restricted diet. The only small downside was that there is no parking on site & it was a little tricky to find a spot in the surrounding streets, but you can unload & loadup right outside the door before parking your vehicle.

Lovely unique house, and nicely decorated in a Georgian style... Owner Richard keeps you entertained, especially at breakfast. Enjoyed our 2 night stay, and the 4 poster bed was very big, and comfy. Not forgetting the continental breakfast, which is enough to fill your belly for the morning.

We had flown into Heathrow after sleepless flights from northwest Florida. Needless to say, we were tired which made driving out of London a little nerve-racking. The street parking at the Villa was full by the time we got there. Richard made everything better. He gave us access to his private parking area and personally made up our room early so we could get a nap in. We were so very grateful for this personal attention and kindness. But we found our stay was just that. Full of personal attention and kindness. The room was very comfortable including the mattress. Smell the towelsβ¦ wonderful! Breakfast with other guests in the dining room was both interesting and delicious. Fun extras included cookies, wine and water in the room. Richard had wonderful suggestions for our days there. Do yourself a favor and eat at the centrally located restaurant The Architect, outside on the patio. The view and food are beautiful experiences. We did this each of the three day we were there. The footpath between the Villa and Bath is lovely. Good exercise and an interesting walk. We did this each day as well. You must do the free Bath walking tour. The guides are volunteers and they are all wonderful story tellers. The city bus is worth doing as well. Go on both β one goes up the prominent city hill area and the other is a thrill ride through town. The only thing I wished weβd done more of was sitting in the Villaβs garden in the evenings. We loved staying at Grosvenor Villa. We hope you enjoy staying there as much as we did.
