βGreat Flat, comfortable, spacious, everything you need, great views over Bath, fantastic bonus having a parking space. Nice 15 minute stroll into the city to explore what Bath has to offer.β
βWe had such a wonderful experience staying at Hope Place 29B! It was definitely our home away from home. Sam thought of everything, we are back home in the Netherlands and we are still talking about missing our cozy Bath home. Highly recommended! Nagesse & Marcelβ
βAmazing location for walking. The friendliest of welcomes. Very nice setup with guest area for making drinks and also a nice place to sit and enjoy the views, and on this occasion the new lambs. Everything you could need. The room was beautifully decorated. Dinner was by far the best quality of the whole trip. Hearty portion too. Immaculately clean rooms. Breakfast was carefully prepared according to request taken the previous evening. If youβre looking for a standout stay we suggest you book now.β
βClean and tidy, great host, fantastic Japanese breakfast of Rice and Miso. Easy to deal with, flexible. What all B&B experiences should be like. Perfect place to stay if going to Bath races, 5mins in a taxi.β
βBeautiful location, the communication was excellent and everything was so lovely! Really happy with our visit :)β
βEverything about the apartment was five star. The customer service was excellent, very informative and made the whole checking in and checking out process easy. The location couldnβt be more central. You donβt even realise youβre slap bang in the middle of a city centre as itβs still really peaceful. The apartment itself is immaculate. Itβs spacious, luxurious, and had the best terrace with the most incredible view over the cathedral and hills in the distance. You get so much more for your money than you ever would in a hotel. I will definitely be booking again.β
βReally clean, nice getaway. Check in experience was flawless, lovely area in converted "barn". Hosts leave a nice spread of food for you on arrival. Local community shop on doorstep & a Co-Op about 5 minutes drive away. Only negative is upstairs porthole window doesn't have a blind, but is easily overlooked.β
βHappy Hounds is a great daycare setting for dogs. Sue and Sally look after my dog on a Monday each week, they are really great and good communication after each session with any potential issues or just feedback on a great day. The setting itself is ideal for the dogs, a lovely big bit of space and a cabin area for a bit of a lunchtime nap! Also great value for money, would highly recommend.β
βAmazing service. Especially Natalie who was really helpful and patient, Especially when we had the wrong date initially! The travel docs arrived the very next day in a lovely travel wallet which was a nice surprise. Thank you and definitely recommend if you need a bespoke holiday.β
βMy cats very anxious but think she enjoyed her stay.very clean cattery got no faults and the staff are caring and lovelyβ
βPleasently surprised how beautiful this apartment is. It felt very much like home from home. The apartment is very well situated close to the city, only a 10 minute stroll to the Pulteney Bridge with a beautiful walk through Henrietta Park on the way. The food/welcome pack was a lovely treat. The bread was amazing! Alison managed to sort early check in for us despite it being a busy bank holiday weekend. If you want a great safe place to stay that is situated close to Bath city centre, I can't recommend Herschel Place enough. We will definitely visit again!β
βLovely surroundings,excellent food,friendly people.Always a good venue.β
βThis is a two star hotel with a five-star attitude. The rooms are immaculately appointed en-suite doubles traditionally designed to deliver old-fashioned comfort and ambience. Cleanliness and high standards of maintenance are everywhere. The public areas are warm and welcoming beyond what many other hotels ever achieve; this is a real home from home. The restaurant, bar, and lounge combine a subtle balance of intimacy and homely warmth that affords guests their own choice of personal space or friendly interaction with other guests. The restaurant's generous and varied gourmet menu brings you first-class choices from simple farmhouse trad dinning to four course gourmet feasts that will delight you. The wine menu is a superb selection of fine wines for every occasion which the hosts will be delighted to advise you on if you wish. The heart of The Old Malt House is the delightful family who own and run it. They host their home and their business with dedication that is reflected in every aspect of what they do and you expect. If you value the genuine, old fashioned values of service and hospitality from a family run hotel, you have arrived at the right place. In comparison with similar hotels and restaurants in Bath, the Old Malt House offers you superior value for money, service and quality of life than any other establishment. Don't get stuck in town, step 6 miles South of Bath and experience beautiful, ancient rural Wiltshire first hand.β
βGreat apartment for a very good and honest price! Super comfortable, spacious and clean. The location is the best. Middle of the center so you do not need a car. Great outdoors as well on just a few minutes walk. We will come back!β
βA warm welcome awaits you here. With well kept rooms and a nice choice of breakfast to eat in you room. The staff are all friendly and accommodating, we will definitely return soon. Stay here and you won't be disappointed. Only a short walk into the city centre.β
βThe Priory is local to us & we have thought about booking the restaurant for quite some time, but I find it hard to try new places. We were gifted a voucher for the restaurant last Xmas, so last week we finally used it. We booked via the website & added our usual request for quiet area as ASD. I have to say I was apprehensive, but I was very impressed. From the moment we arrived the service was excellent and the staff so friendly. I felt VERY comfortable here, which for a first visit, is high praise indeed! We sat in the panel room, with dark wood panelled walls. As they were quieter on the evening we came, they gave me a choice of table, which I really appreciated! (I would book this table again in the future!) We were looked after by David, & he was great - just the right balance of attentiveness! We chose from the three course set menu and the food was delicious. Hubby had cured smoked duck to start, I had smoked ham hock and jalapeΓ±o croquettes - the duck was so tender & the croquettes crispy & melty inside. We both had the pork loin for mains, with triple cooked chips & roasted Jerusalem artichokes to share. Again, we couldnβt fault anything. The pork loin was slightly pink and melted in your mouth, the chips were amazing & the artichokes were gorgeous. A great pairing! Finally we decided on the Orange & Almond cake & the cheese board to finish, which we also shared. Again, perfection! Another point for us is, as real ale drinkers, so often you find that restaurants in hotels skip on the cask ales, but The Priory have their own pale ale as well as one of our favourites - Bath Ales, Gem! Thank you for a lovely evening, our first visit but definitely not our last.β
βCouldnβt say more about our stay. Warmly greeted by cheerful and helpful staff. Primary contact at front desk (reception area pictured) during our stay was Charlie - informative and positive. We stayed in Rm 28 which looked over Bathβs recreation field (bowling lawn and croquet field) with Abbey in the distance. Only downside was lack of storage - challenge for us as we had a 5 night stay (seems most folks have shorter stays). The Plate has a good breakfast and dinners were varied and good (had our first Sunday roast beef dinner and it was memorable). Location provides 10-15 minute walkable access to a number of activities (rowing on the Avon, viewed our first cricket match, the Holbourne Museum, and all that Bath proper has to offer). I asked a former co-worker (Brit ex-pat) best place for holiday in Britain and he replied quickly, Bath. The Bird Bath made it that much better. Highly recommend.β
βThe rooms are clean, modern and have everything you need! Staff are friendly, polite and helpful- even when busy! Tasty breakfast included in the price! Absolutely brilliant! What more could you ask for- would definitely stay again!β
βA beautiful and well looked after guesthouse. We enjoyed every part of our stay from the greeting at check-in, to the beautifully cosy room, a very quiet nights sleep and a delicious breakfast this morning. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you.β
βExcellent location, easy 10 min stroll into town. The addition of parking was a welcome bonus, along with a late check out of 11am. We were in room 5, lovely spacious room, view over the green towards the Cathedral. We didn't hear any night traffic or noise on our stay so that was nice. Little kitchen area, with Kettle and Fridge. My only 'complaint' would be there wasn't enough tea bags for us, only 2 'normal' tea, rest were herbal but that's a big deal really. Would definitely stay here again if the occasion arose.β
βI can't recommend Bath Stone highly enough! The staff are absolutely brilliantβfriendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile. Their knowledge of property management is outstanding, and they are always on hand to offer helpful advice and support. From day one, they have made everything seamless and stress-free. Bath Stone is very reliable and knowledgeable.β
βFirst time of staying here, was absolutely spot on, from checking in to checking out. Already booked again, was so impressed! There is a lift to the floors but also a few stairs too, although I was told and offered help. My room was just perfect. Very clean and comfy, bed was a delight. Lovely toiletries. Plenty of tea/coffee/milk etc. There was a fridge, what a bonus. I didnβt struggle with parking, yes Β£15 per 24hrs but it is what it is, Iβve paid lots more in Bath and it was a fair distance to walk to my accommodation. I personally didnβt sample any food. A great place to stay - highly recommend. Thank you to all concerned for making my stay so memorableβ
βThe apartment was lovely, very tidy, clean and modern! The pint of milk is a nice touch! Would definitely book againβ
βStayed here a couple of times now. Fantastic service from the moment you arrive. Lovely rooms, great pub downstairs with entertainment, good food/drink selection and loads of board games you can take up to your room. Only a 15 min walk into the centre or a 5min taxi ride. Staff were fantastic. Will 100% stay again if we are back in the area.β
βI recently stayed at The Z Hotel in Bath over the weekend and had such a wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. The hotel itself was spotless, stylish, and had such a comfortable atmosphere. My room was modern, cozy, and well equipped β everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The location was also ideal, close to the cityβs main attractions, which made exploring Bath super convenient. What really stood out to me was the level of customer service. Every staff member I met was friendly, attentive, and made me feel truly valued as a guest. Itβs rare to find such consistent hospitality! I would absolutely recommend The Z Hotel in Bath to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Iβll definitely be returning on my next trip!β
βMarle got us our second year student house, and made sure we got the one we loved! Shes extremely helpful and honest. Weβre very grateful.β
βLovely apartment , perfect position for the Christmas Market, the only thing was we didn't realise it was three twisty sets of stairs and we had my 90 year old mum with us, but it didn't spoil it for usβ
βWent down a couple of times, lovely pub with a great potential Will and Chanelle are very welcoming . It will be an amazing pub when itβs done up . New owners have taken over canβt wait to see what it will be like after revamp . Will be back soon .β
βWe stayed for a long weekend in a family room. Clean but a bit dated. Beds were comfy but the double was 4'6! Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Free parking and some off road. Bus stop just outside with easy access to Bath. Can walk along the river too but it's quite industrialised so not pretty!β
βI was travelling with my toddler and parents. The staff obliged me with an early check-in for one of the rooms, which was very considerate. The location is great and property itself is very nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I recommend this property to anyone wanting a nice stay at Bath. We also thank Fauzia for going out of her way to help us. Thank you again for a lovely stay!β
