   I recently stayed at Number 17 with my partner in room Number 4. The owner was lovely, very understanding and helpful. He told us about the area on arrival. He warned us that the bathroom was on the small side and it was but I didn't mind it at all even as a plus size girl it wasnt too small for me and the shower was a good size. The room was lovely, so spacious and an extremely comfortable bed. The TV is smart so you can watch netflix which I appreciated and there was coffee/tea. I would 100% recommend to anyone and I would love to stay again

   The location is perfect. Everything is within walking distance. When we stayed few years back the rooms had kitchens we don't now. That's the only downside. We were in Room 4. Huge spacious and very grand.

   I booked this mostly for the parking space. But I was excited as it looked like a really nice guest house, and for the most part it was. We had room #2 which was nice and big. Location was perfect, close to town to walk, but away from the hubbub. But (and I’m not sure if this was just a one time thing) the towels in the room were the most stiff and scratchy I’ve ever encountered. To the point of almost be unusable. I wanted to ask the host about it,but my hubby said to just let it go. We stayed two nights and I opted not to shower the morning we were leaving because that towel was just too stiff . I feel like maybe the towels were dried on a clothes line outside and not fluffed in a dryer.

   Excellent location, easy 10 min stroll into town. The addition of parking was a welcome bonus, along with a late check out of 11am. We were in room 5, lovely spacious room, view over the green towards the Cathedral. We didn't hear any night traffic or noise on our stay so that was nice. Little kitchen area, with Kettle and Fridge. My only 'complaint' would be there wasn't enough tea bags for us, only 2 'normal' tea, rest were herbal but that's a big deal really. Would definitely stay here again if the occasion arose.

   Have lovely time room was big and the view from our room looking out towards the cathedral. It's was easy to get the main town as in the hotel in the centre just a 10min walk. And you park your car there and don't have use it loads of eating places to go to so I would recommend going to Bath and staying at Number 17 Bath.

   I'd say 3.5 stars? Our room was nice/functional, and had a kitchenette that we weren't expecting. When we tried to cook something we realized there wasn't any actual pot/pan to use on the stove, so kind of a moot point? Management was able to point us to a stock room where we found one. The bathroom was very small and old, water stains on the walls and the weakest water pressure in the shower.

   We booked this months ago. We normally pay on arrival, like everywhere we book through booking.com. We were told two weeks and two days before our holiday that we had to pay the full amount two weeks before arrival. Giving us just a couple of days to sort the money. Made sure all the money was in the correct account only to be told that the card is expired because it's only in date till the end of the month. After speaking to someone we were told we had until 5pm to pay otherwise they would be canceling the stay. We changed cards and double checked everything was correct only to be told they still couldn't accept this as payment and then they cancelled the stay all together despite us still having a couple of hours to call and check what the issue was. This is now two weeks before we are due to go on holiday leaving us desperately trying to find somewhere else to stay. With it being such short notice we will now be paying double the amount. Completely unhelpful and unacceptable. This looked like a lovely place to stay however their shocking attitude towards a easily solved situation ruined the whole look. Despite the fact we will now be paying more for our stay I'm grateful it won't be here.

   A lovely studio room 5 minutes walk from the centre. Was beautiful. Booked the night before! Cheap for bath centre. Tidy and was allowed to check in early. Check out time was 11am and we thought that was great. Deliveroo can deliver to the house!!
