Other vet practices I have used seem to care more about you spending as much money as possible but Hale are not like that. I have 2 cats I take to Hale and find them very good with both of them, providing honest advice. I would recommend.”

“We've been using Rich for years for our cats and the service is always fantastic - on several occasions he was happy to cover visits at extremely short notice and he's always been available when we needed him. Very reasonable prices, keeps everything tidied up and cleans bowels (we've had messy professional pet sitters before so I'm grateful Rich always left our home spotless). Rich is a lovely guy who is always happy to give us updates when we're away for a while. He also keeps really detailed records of the pets he cares for. So glad we found him!”

“What a fantastic Travelodge, a great budget dog-friendly hotel. We are staying for a few days to visit Bath Christmas Market with family. The service and welcome from Vanessa and Maya on reception was fantastic, they really went out of their way to give us two rooms next to each other - they are a real credit to the hotel. Highly recommend staying here to visit Chippenham or quick trains into Bath and Bristol.”

“Would very much recommend Lauren and 'Its a Dog's Life' and wouldn't want anyone else looking after Charlie who has been looked after by Lauren since he was about 12wks old. She has always been very flexible and willing to adapt to our needs with Charlie as he got older, he absolutely loves going out with her and can't get in the van quick enough. I really wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lauren to anyone looking for someone to look after their dog or cat the way you would yourself!”

“Lucknam Park is honestly one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment you drive up that long tree-lined road, it just feels special. The setting is stunning, peaceful, and everything about it makes you instantly relax. Our room was gorgeous , cosy, elegant, and full of character. You can tell every detail has been thought through, from the bedding to the scent in the room. The spa is next level. The hydrotherapy pool, the outdoor hot pool under the trees, the thermal rooms , everything is spotless and beautifully designed. I had one of the best massages I’ve ever had in my life, and the staff there genuinely care about how you feel. The food… wow. Every meal was incredible. Breakfasts were perfect, and dinner was honestly Michelin-level , rich flavours, beautifully presented, and made with proper passion. The service was flawless , friendly but never over the top. It’s rare to find somewhere that gets everything right , the food, the spa, the atmosphere, the people – but Lucknam Park really does. It’s peaceful, romantic, and feels like proper old-school luxury without any stuffiness. We left already planning our next trip back.”

“Amazing location for walking. The friendliest of welcomes. Very nice setup with guest area for making drinks and also a nice place to sit and enjoy the views, and on this occasion the new lambs. Everything you could need. The room was beautifully decorated. Dinner was by far the best quality of the whole trip. Hearty portion too. Immaculately clean rooms. “Allow plenty of time to find it the first time you go. The grooming parlour is a lovely, purpose built prefabricated building at the back of the lady's house. Her prices are reasonable and she does a lovely job.”

“We have just had a wonderful 4 night break in one of the studio cottages. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The welcome pack, which includes lovely homemade bread was an added bonus. Room was clean and the shower a treat. Local pub did great food that you can walk to in 5 minutes. What sets this place above others is the host. Angela was wonderful and friendly. She allows you to fish in their large pond and if like us, you may be lucky and see the kingfisher too. I am sure we will return.”
