“Lucknam Park is honestly one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment you drive up that long tree-lined road, it just feels special. The setting is stunning, peaceful, and everything about it makes you instantly relax. Our room was gorgeous , cosy, elegant, and full of character. You can tell every detail has been thought through, from the bedding to the scent in the room. The spa is next level. The hydrotherapy pool, the outdoor hot pool under the trees, the thermal rooms , everything is spotless and beautifully designed. I had one of the best massages I’ve ever had in my life, and the staff there genuinely care about how you feel. The food… wow. Every meal was incredible. Breakfasts were perfect, and dinner was honestly Michelin-level , rich flavours, beautifully presented, and made with proper passion. The service was flawless , friendly but never over the top. It’s rare to find somewhere that gets everything right , the food, the spa, the atmosphere, the people – but Lucknam Park really does. It’s peaceful, romantic, and feels like proper old-school luxury without any stuffiness. We left already planning our next trip back.”

“Beautiful National Trust site. Excellent walks with stunning views. Dyrham Park house is just stunning with beautiful gardens, church, and ponds. You have video history, tea rooms, and a mobility bus for the elderly and disabled. Really helpful, informative staff. We would highly recommend.”

“Kept forgetting to leave a review - we were served by Danielle a few weeks ago and she was absolutely lovely and super knowledgable. Had a fairly simple repair (bike chain replacement) on an old bike, and she was more than happy to do this for us despite us not having a booking. She also recommended us some oils for maintaining the bike which have been very useful. Overall, super knowledgeable staff with lots of experience - will definitely be back if (when!) my old relic of a bike has a problem again haha”

“Went to the civil war reenactment today which was a fun day out with cannons and musket firing and a nice encampment with tents featuring different parts of life in the 17th century. Being right next to the town centre it was easy to nip for a coffee and a bite to eat, in fact as we were sat in the cafe they marched up the street to the beat of the drum! Wonderful event well worth the trip.”

“The tea room at Dyrham Park is a lovely place to stop and relax. The tea and coffee are excellent, and the staff are always friendly and helpful – it really adds to the whole visit.”

“Friendly staff. You have to wait a bit as walk in but that's to be expected. Main car park is tricky but overflow car park is fine. Hema the nurse practitioner was excellent. Keep doing what you're doing.”

“Had two tyres blow out heading down the A46 towards Bath (something on the road). Fitted my spare and then searched for a nearby garage to help with the second and found Central, and thank god I did. I limped my car there and on arrival I could see they were already very busy but I explained my situation and they went above and beyond to get me another tyre and get me back on the road. From the incident occurring to getting back on the road it only an hour thanks to them (and most of that was waiting for my odd size tyre to arrive). Special thanks to Nick whom I dealt with whilst I was there. I would highly recommend this garage if you're in need of their services in the area.”

“What a beautiful small village! Unfortunately I visit this place not on the finest weather but it still look extraordinary pretty. There is a big parking lot around 10 minutes walk from the village.”

“An excellent village shop with lots of tempting locally produced goodies and friendly staff. There are public toilets in the High Street which has lots of cars parked but there is parking on the old road at the end of the village.”
