   Lovely breakfast and swimming pool. Room was nice. There was a noise from what sounded like a boiler coming on and off in the night. Toilet was difficult to flush. Good location, and 10 mins from station.

   Hotel is very tired and needs some TLC. Floors creak and slope in various directions and carpets are dirty and worn. Holes in ceilings from leaks as well? No clear signage for navigating the old corridors which made me wonder if I would ever find my way out in an emergency!!? What was more alarming were some bedrooms and doors opened directly onto stairs, so if you were rushing through a door, you could find yourself one floor down before you knew it. Very dangerous! Heating wasn’t fully working when we stayed so we sat in the bar with coats on. I managed to get one radiator in my room working by simply bleeding it (it was completely full of air). The second radiator wouldn’t work at all. Room eventually heated up. Not a great experience.

   Sadly this was not a great experience for me. On arrival we went to our room which was nice, clean, large, 2 single beds (travelling with my friend) so we were pleased. We went out for the day, got a bit cold, before heading back to relax before dinner. We found our room cold so we turned on the radiator but an hour later nothing, we assumed we were being stupid so asked at reception. We were told it was broken but would be on the next day, they said they would leave extra blankets in our room. So we went to a soleless dinner as apart from one single man we were on our own, no music just us chatting! As soon as we got back to our room we had to get into bed to keep warm, but we were told the next day it would be fixed so we thought we would just wait. Only one blanket which my friend let me have dk I was jydt warn enough overnight, I'm not sure she was! Next morning another empty breakfast room, but a very good meal, and we asked about the heating and were told it would be done. So off we set for our day but on return no heating still, now a very cold room! So we headed back to reception and we're given two little heaters and told it wouldn't be fixed that day. We asked to move to the main hotel (the heating was on there) but we're told they were fully booked, We were offered a free drink by a man we thought was the manager/owner but he didn't tell us. So after dinner (outside of the hotel) we went to the bar for our free small glass of wine. Heaters on sleep was impossible, so we had to turn them off! Another chilly night by now we were seriously thinking of just heading home but we stuck it out. Breakfast just us again but very good. We were kindly not charged for our parking £7.50 as compensation on check out and so we left! The hotel could be very good but it's left a lasting impression on me and one that's not great. If it was heated and more people around I think it would be a very nice stay, great location, good pool, gym, little garden.

   We had our wedding reception here, and from the moment we arrived until the very end, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Over the course of two unforgettable days, everything was handled with such care and attention to detail—we are absolutely over the moon with how it all turned out! The food was amazing, the room was beautiful, and every single guest had nothing but high praise for the event. To top it all off, we've been invited back to celebrate our one-year anniversary, which means so much to us. We truly can't thank you enough for making our special day so memorable.

   Very spacious rooms with large king size beds coffee and tea facilities in rooms and a TV. Nice size onsuite with shower. Clean and well presented large breakfast area with continental and traditional breakfast options. Nice size carpark to the rear behind the pool and gym. Don't forget to register your car in reception. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Highly recommend a visit.

   We stayed here this weekend 18th until the 20th of November. We found the hotel to be spotless our room was beautiful very clean and tidy. The staff were amazing nothing was to much trouble, we had taken our little dog and she was treated like a princess. On the Saturday evening we met up with our daughter, son in law and their children for a meal and it was fantastic the food was very well presented and had loads of flavour. We would definitely stay here again in fact we can't wait to go back and stay there for a longer time. Amazing, clean and friendly hotel.

   Just been here for a Fawlty Towers weekend which was great fun! Lovely hotel and all the food included with the weekend package was really good. Would happily stay here on another occasion. Rooms are nice, bathroom was lovely- nice soft towels! Staff were friendly and attentive. Very jovial weekend which had everyone in a good mood ,

   The staff were friendly and helpful right from the start. The room was spacious and comfortable. Food was good and although the pool was smaller than we thought it would be we thoroughly enjoyed our swim. We stayed for 3 nights and have no complaints.
