I've purchased several items of good quality, affordable bicycle accessories from Halfords, Chippenham. Their very helpful bicycle technician also made the customer experience a pleasant one. I'll be shopping here again!
Purchased Nextbase dash cam plus fitting and Halfords were very good when I had to cancel the installation at 24 hours notice. they offered me a follow on appointment which suited my schedule. On arrival at the store the gazebo had been bollarded off so that I could park up immediately. It only took just over 30 minutes and since we had an identical dash cam in our other car I did not need any sewing up/usage instructions. The technician was very friendly and professional and got on with the installation without delay. At the end everything left over was all neatly repackaged. So. very satisfied with Halfords both regarding the good prices for dash cam and parts, plus. excellent customer service.
It's not often you're blown away by the quality of service, but I got my car battery replaced at Chippenham Halfords and the service was absolutely outstanding. Booking the appointment was a breeze and the installation took no time at all. The staff were friendly, informative and efficient. Brilliant job. Thanks guys.
Great store, very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Mike fitted new bulbs and wipers in no time, great service. Very competitive pricing and nice little waiting area for when things are busy.
Kept forgetting to leave a review - we were served by Danielle a few weeks ago and she was absolutely lovely and super knowledgable. Had a fairly simple repair (bike chain replacement) on an old bike, and she was more than happy to do this for us despite us not having a booking. She also recommended us some oils for maintaining the bike which have been very useful. Overall, super knowledgeable staff with lots of experience - will definitely be back if (when!) my old relic of a bike has a problem again haha
Jacob replaced a headlight bulb, advised on another bulb and gave the car a thorough inspection. Great service, good price and fantastic customer care! Well done and thank you to Jacob (Hope Halfords give you a pay !)
Front bulbs needed changing and as I was likely to cause more damage than good, I asked Halfords to do it. They did the fitting quickly and efficiently! Excellent service!
Excellent and quick service. A blown up fuse was replaced from the water pump circuit due to freezing temperatures. This was causing the fault of pump not functioning. Diagnostic found and dealt by assistant Jacob of We fit team at Halfords. He also recommended two washer -20° C to -10°C antifreeze liquids to use from now and on A big thank you.
Huge shout out to Chris the manager and Kel!! Cannot thank you enough. I popped in on the 10th Jan to buy some engine coolant for my first car and ask for general advice, they could have so easily just sold me products I didn’t necessarily need but instead I was offered a complimentary full check on my car and off the back of that I was able to purchase the products I needed. I thought that was incredibly honest and put the needs of their customer above all else which is incredibly rare. You have my full trust and custom in future and I will be recommending too. Many many thanks! :)
Shop floor staff were helpful and fetched the battery for me but Head Office management could do better. What is the point of a fancy e-mailed receipt which will be necessary in the future should I need to claim on the 4 year guarantee if there is no date of purchase anywhere on the document ? Very disappointing. Sorry.
