My wife went in to get a couple of things and found some great deals on Christmas stuff and came out with a few more. I went to the petrol station as it was the cheapest I had seen around. Well done Sainsburys!
Extremely helpful young chap called Ethan, picking the online orders, was very helpful the other day to my 90 year old mother who could not find the spices after trying to find cumin powder and cinnamon. Please can a manager pass on the comment and I hope he keeps up the amazing work
The Internet was slow this morning so their machines were taking ages which is understandable however the lady at self checkout was less than helpful saying no one saw the 'big sign' as they came in. THERE WAS NO SIGN AT ALL! Very rude, no apology, and not helpful.
Some seriously obnoxious and rude staff in the clothing section today. Was hit with a restocking trolly. Had to listen to four staff members loudly gossiping and was essentially barged off a clothing rack. Decided to take a lap and come back to the same section only to be barged Infront of again by a different member of staff. No excuse me or apologies. I get it's not a well paid or high skill job but some basic courtesy wouldn't go a miss.
One of the best places to shop in Chippenham. Handy having Argos in store. Click and collect service is great and easy to use. I always use Smartshop which works really well. The Nectar offers, both the personal offers and the general offers are a bonus. Best time to go is late afternoon when the store is less busy. Really like the in store biscuits, very tasty and sometimes on offer! Petrol station always has competitive prices and generally not too busy but can be busy when the fuel tanker is delivering.
The store is fine, but the toilets were filthy. Swear words written and dirty walls and the floor needed a wash. Very bad and let the store down
Excellent, had to try Harry Ramsden fish and chips and it was great, Ā£6 for lovely fish, chips and tartar sauce. Certainly hope all the other Sainsbury's coffee places become these food hubs.
The new cafe is not very good, we ordered 2 breakfasts with drinks, food arrived minus drinks. Breakfast was tiny over cooked and greasy, with black hairs on the plate. We had to go to counter and ask for our drinks which then took another 5 minutes to arrive after we finished eating, the white hot chocolate had no chocloate in and was just warm milk. All in a poor service and would recommend one of the local pubs for breakfast instead. for coffee go over the road to costa.
Big store with plenty of choice. Came to buy a certain cat food that I can not get at my local store. Was able to get 8 boxes, no problem.
One of the major outlets you know what to expect but this the first time we've been to this one. Shelves were well stocked, range of goods was very good but it is a very big store so you get a lot of different items on offer, some great value items are to be found, like bulk spices, but not obvious so look carefully around the store. Staff friendly and helpful, wide isles so no congestion and plenty of check outs but not hugely fast but no worse than other stores or supermarket chains. All in all as far as shopping is concerned nowdays, it's a good experience.
