Just been back to get my son another pair of shoes. Lee has served us both times and has been great. His knowledge and professionalism makes you feel confident in what size shoe to get. Could not recommend him enough and is a credit to the store.

My expensive pair of shoes, purchased here several months ago, were showing signs of excessive wear. Despite being over 6 months from purchase, Lee swapped my worn shoes for a new pair. One of the oldest shops around, as I recall Clarks when I was a child, many moons ago. Is what it is, but always in higher budget range, especially when kids go through shoes quickly.
We had set out to buy a pair of school shoes with a particular type of sole. I had attempted to research this sole online but as, at the time I did not know the name of this special sole, I found difficultly finding. We set off with the location of three different stores in three separate towns, we did not expect to find these shoes easily. When we eventually made it into the first of our itineraried stores, due to C-19 and entrance restrictions this of course meant cueing, I began to explain about the sole we were looking for... one of the assistants raised her foot and displayed the sole on the trainers she was wearing... it was exactly what we were looking for AND they had the sole on only one style of shoe (the rest were trainers). My daughter,for whom the shoes were for,is on the spectrum and had been wearing the last pair of shoes with this sole style for the past five years. It was an incredible relief to find them and the staff were extremely helpful.
Lee (Store Manager) has shown excellent knowledge of the product. His customer service is outstanding! Store is always clean and tidy, not one spec of dust present, unlike other shoe shops in Chippenham!!
Good customer service and an okay range of shoes in offer. My biggest problem is the cost of their shoes can be ridiculous as one pair of brown boots I picked up for my child were £52. I appreciate you can simply say "don't buy them" or "you choose to pay those prices" or even "if you buy cheap you buy twice", however I believe that Clarks simply have you over barrel challenging you to put your child's development second over perceived penny pinching.
