Hi, My very happy surprise in Corsham If The Shoe Fits is a perfect title for this hidden gem of a retailer. This shop is owned and operated independently. The shop is fully Accessible for all visiting customers. First impressions I was greeted by a very polite shop assistant ladies called George. No pressure to buy, just very happy to see the customers. Her aim was to provide in every way a service tailored to me, full trained and knowledgeable. A bespoke service that helps, guides the customer to what footwear they really wish for. It is how shoe shops were many years ago. She discussed all aspects of shoes, fitting and why this important. The footwear is chosen for durability, comfort,style and sizing. Makes: Start 1792 Right Sketchers Cotswold Ricosta Der Kinderschuh Bobux Remote Strive I was very happily surprised to see such a good range of different footwear for all age groups. The footwear across all ranges were very good brands and and very competitive in price to large footwear retailers. In some cases even better priced. This place is a must place to visit if your looking for footwear for yourself or all the family. Pop in while in the area. I do believe this shop with Kate and George will change the way you look at you footwear. Ever step we take affects the body, Good fitting and good shoes is great help to wellbeing. It also gives you that extra step to a good life and in some cases help with pain. I hope this review helps people find great fitted shoes with great service. Excellent personal service on numerous occasions. Most recently following an accident on my bike and a requirement for me to have my shoulder. Immobilised, I called the shop enquiring about elastic shoelaces that could be used in existing shoes. The very helpful assistant accurately described the options available. 3 pairs were set aside for me. I am fortunate to live locally so arranged for them to be collected. A few days later, I was able to visit the shop wearing walking boots with the laces in and the fabulous owner/manager re-laced one of them for me to ensure that it was easy to get on and off. I’m so impressed that I’ll be returning to get a 4th pair!
I love this shoe shop! I have bought trainers, walking shoes, sandals and summer shoes this year and have been delighted with the advice given and the shoes themselves. More recently I recommend that my son take his son there for school shoes. My grandson was fitted out and because of a delivery issue Kate kindly posted them to him as he is not local to Corsham. Thoroughly recommend If the shoe fits.
Thank you for a stress-free shoe fitting for my 11 year old. They gave him lots of choice, asked his opinion and worked together to come up with a very smart school shoe. Even better they taught him a shoe tying technique for a left handed person. Excellent service. Highly recommend.
I have taken my grandson to see Kate and George since they first open. Max LOVES going to have his feet measured! With an awkward high instep, Max's feet can be tricky to fit correctly. However, we always leave happy with a great pair of well- fitted shoes. His first pair of school shoes are perfect. Thank you If the Shoe Fits.
Booked a shoe appt for my toddler after being recommended the shop by a friend. When me and my wife arrived with our son, we spoke to Kate and she was so helpful, gave us great advice and pointed us in the right direction of speaking to a Pediatrician first. Will recommend the shop to anyone
