βAfter 27 years as a customer, I have received great customer service, 1st class advice and always leave with a smile. Special nod to Tom and his great team. Have and will always recommend Rabarts ( Davies of Bath)β
βPassing through and saw this little place. Popped in for a bacon butty and a wee and itβs made me genuinely sad that I donβt live around the corner so I could visit every week. Staff (Sharon and Darcy) were so friendly even though we arenβt local. They had regulars (known by name) and clearly look after them making everyone feel special. Spending time chatting with an older gentleman. Itβs opposite the park and botanical gardens, I walked the dog before popping in. Really wished I lived closer to be able to come back get bits for a picnic and stroll in the parks. Dog friendly too! Bacon butty - banging Takeaway brownie not yet eaten but smells divine. Service warm and friendly And the best bit, evening guest chefs and wine! Anyone have the number of an estate agent?β
βFab stay - rooms beautifully decorated and clean. Locations right in the middle of town and easy to find. Staff were very friendly and helpful too. Breakfast was great value and loved the little details like the pillow spray in the room. Would definitely stay again.β
βStayed at Mr Darcy's House for my hen do and we all had an amazing time. The house was perfect for a hen do and we loved used the basement bunk room space for the evenings. The house was clean and nicely decorated and I would highly recommend it. Minnie was so helpful over email and there were nice special touches on our arrival which made it feel really special!β
βKutchenhaus Bath have completely transformed my home, there is just no comparison to what was there before. Rather than being embarrassed to invite people around, I now canβt wait to let them in! The open plan kitchen and living area is now a complete and connected space instead of having a dark and depressing βcaveβ at one end of the room. Going above and beyond describes my overall experience with Kutchenhaus Bath perfectly, from initial consultation, through to design and installation, everyone and everything has been exceptional. Jodi understood what I was hoping to achieve and supported me throughout the process, joined by Patrick during installation and sign off. Ben expertly turned my ideas into a really beautiful and practical design that was then extremely capably and carefully installed by Dave. The whole team are friendly, knowledgeable and conscientious with the resulting kitchen itself being of a very high quality. I wouldnβt hesitate to recommend them, I couldnβt be happier!β
βAmazing location for walking. The friendliest of welcomes. Very nice setup with guest area for making drinks and also a nice place to sit and enjoy the views, and on this occasion the new lambs. Everything you could need. The room was beautifully decorated. Dinner was by far the best quality of the whole trip. Hearty portion too. Immaculately clean rooms. Breakfast was carefully prepared according to request taken the previous evening. If youβre looking for a standout stay we suggest you book now.β

βFixed the oven in one of my rental apartments promptly and not too expensively. The promptness is important as I don't want a tenant to be without a functioning oven for long.β

βA little oasis of furniture and friendly Emily who was so helpfulβ
βA very empty nando. The service was quick and welcoming. The food was very yummy and the desserts were deliciousβ
βBeautiful shop and lovely, helpful staff! I really appreciated their wide range of gluten free products - I just had one of their gluten free chocolate orange friands β¦. I think possibly the best GF treat Iβve ever had! It is quite pricey but worth it - picked up a rewards card while we were there as I know weβll be back! And, if youβre interested, a huge Diddly Squat section!β
βWe contacted Ben and Emi at Ben Argent Kitchens to help with our new kitchen. They were excellent throughout. The design process felt collaborative and we were able to create a genuinely bespoke plan that delivered exactly what we were looking for. The creation of 3D visuals allowed us to assess the various materials and finishes, as well as sense checking the overall design. Now that the kitchen has been installed we are delighted with the result and how closely it matches our expectations. We would recommend Ben Argent Kitchens highly.β

βLucky us to find such a lovely antique shop rather than the usual junk-type antiques so common these days. Beau Nash is special - high quality antiques and lovely Cynthia who is very knowledgeable and kind enough to let us take the George III mirror we bought home to London to try. If we didn't think it fitted, a colleague (who visits London regularly) could come and collect. Needless to say, it is perfect - well worth the wait and travelling 200 miles! We will definitely come to Beau Nash again.β

βColonna & Small's β what a beauty. I ordered myself an iced oat milk latte and it was just the thing for the summer heat. The plain croissant and the chocolate one were both buttery, fresh and absolutely delicious. The vibe is minimalist and itβs definitely a must-visit. I only wish I had more time to sit and work from this lovely cafΓ©, enjoying their excellent speciality coffee.β
βLove this hardware shop - everything reasonably priced and the staff are so helpful and lovelyβ
βWe had a fantastic weekend stay at Windylands B&B this summer! Everything was perfect-the environment was so peaceful and comfortable, and our room was incredibly clean, making us feel right at home. A huge thank you to the host, Richard, for preparing everything for us and for his wonderfully warm welcome and care. He made us feel like we'd known him forever! The delicious breakfast each morning was also a highlight (truly the best hotel breakfast l've ever had), ensuring we felt completely pampered and at ease.β
βThe Little Coffee Shop is a hidden gem that immediately captured our hearts. From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed by the sweetest barista, a lovely lady with soft grey hair and a genuinely kind demeanor. Her warmth and attentiveness made us feel so comfortable, even as rain poured down outside. She took the time to chat with us, making sure our orders were perfect and adding that special personal touch that makes all the difference in a cafΓ© experience. My mum decided on an English tea and an almond croissant, which she absolutely loved! The tea was perfectly steeped, served hot, and had that classic flavor she enjoys so much, complementing the almond croissant beautifully. The croissant was exceptionalβflaky on the outside, soft and moist on the inside, with just the right amount of almond filling. The flavors were rich yet balanced, not overly sweet, making each bite truly delightful. It was clear that quality ingredients and craftsmanship went into creating this pastry. As for me, I chose a chocolate milkshake and a chocolate muffin, and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. The milkshake was smooth, creamy, and wonderfully "milky," with a classic chocolate flavor that wasnβt overly sugary. It felt indulgent without being heavy, making it a refreshing yet satisfying treat. The chocolate muffin was just as delightful, moist and rich with a generous amount of chocolate. Both the muffin and milkshake hit the spot and made for a deliciously indulgent pairing. The cafΓ© itself is small but incredibly charming, decorated with thoughtful touches that create a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Despite the rain, which meant we couldn't enjoy the outdoor seating, the indoor setting was cozy and comfortable, perfect for relaxing with a warm drink and good company. The outdoor seating area looked lovely, though, and I can only imagine how wonderful it would be in the warmer months to sit outside, enjoying the ambiance and perhaps some sunshine. All in all, The Little Coffee Shop is a delightful spot that weβd highly recommend. With delicious food, comforting drinks, a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, and genuinely friendly service, it's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a great cafΓ© experience. Weβll definitely be coming back for more.β
βThis was one of the best veggie hamburgers Iβve had in a long time. I donβt remember exactly what I ordered, but I had the burger with the meatless bacon and it was quite delightful. The fries could use a bit more salt, the strawberry shake was delicious, and the service was excellent.β
βCleo and Meg were friendly, helpful and gave me lots of info and advice. With their help I successfully purchased an LED to replace an old fluorescent tube, and, as they advised, it was very easy for me to fit. And they happily disposed of the old tube for me too! Am very pleased, thank you!β
βTile and floor have a beautiful selection of products. It was a nice discovery to go into their Bath shop for the first time today. Matthew was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and was able to provide the material needed for finishing our Bathroom. Thank you for that! We will be going back there to choose some of their porcelain tiles for our patio. Great selection and good prices . I would thoroughly recommend.β
