“Incredible Italian Deli in bath with an array of great ingredients as well as some amazing sandwiches made fresh right in front of you. So fresh that you can see them baking the bread before putting the toppings in it! I asked what they recommended and went with the number 3 which came with mortadella, pesto, burrata etc. It was delicious and I wish we had more places like this in Brighton.”
“Rooted is an all around incredible place for food, the menu is super creative and full of choice! However! Their vegan roast is literally the best roast I’ve had in Bath, and I’d go as far as to say the best roast in the South West, get one, you won’t be disappointed ❤️”
“Lovely traditional room. Great view. Special attentions for our dog, dog box (ball, treats, biscuits, poo bags), as well as a bed he loved and food bowls. Needed an earlier breakfast, which was no problem. Jean-Luc was very attentive to our needs, and we had a lovely stay in this beautiful part of Bath!”
“The porchetta sandwhich is to die for, they have different options for fillings etc but even just with the meat it’s so flavourful. They have a variety of italian desserts and lovely coffee too. Michelle and Mimmo are truly fantastic, they make you feel welcome and look after you.”
“Fantastic tour!! A must do in Bath!! Ed our guide was knowledgeable and fun! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the food establishments we went to were top notch!! Definitely worth doing every visit to Bath!”
“Fantastic roast dinners well worth the money, really nice cafe with very friendly staff and atmosphere they even have a dog floating around his name is Deacon and he likes beef! We've been around a bit lately trying roast dinners including The Stag, Ring O Bells in Hinton Blewitt, Hope & Anchor in Midford, Castle Farm etc... and this little gem in Batheaston has been the best overall experience out the lot. Me and my father thoroughly enjoy coming here to Cafe 25 and we highly recommend it. Right now we're not interested in trying anywhere else as we've found and settled on this lovely little place. If you do come make sure to show Deacon your appreciation by giving him a little meat and he will be truly grateful. Served by the ever so lovely Kay who is always up for a chat and will make you feel very welcome indeed. Enjoy! Tom & John”
“The food was good and the place was nice enough but what really made it great was the service. The people working there are kind and friendly and did their best to make it an enjoyable experience.”
“Really cozy pub with friendly welcoming bar staff. Lovely with the log fire on after a walk through Lansdown . I can highly recommend the loaded charcuterie & cheese board as well.”
“Absolutely would highly recommend this place! The restaurant is stunning - don't let the exterior fool you, as it's gorgeous inside. The staff are lovely, and the food is truly amazing. Just a heads up for anyone with mobility issues: the steps down to the restaurant are quite steep. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish!”
“Really lovely little cafe. We found this place online and loved the look and the vibe. We arrived around 10am and were seated pretty much straight away. Don’t be fooled if it looks full from the front, they do have a few tables hidden around the back. The service was really quick and friendly and the food tasted very good. We had the French toast with bacon and maple syrup along with an order of poached eggs on toast with a side of avocado. The food was served fast but we didn’t feel rushed to eat and leave even once finished we were left to chat until we were ready to go. Overall I’d say this was a great place to stop for brunch.”
“We found all the staff at Andrews, Bear Flat welcoming and knowledgeable. Sophia who ultimately handled our sale is a consummate professional, a good listener, and empathetic to her clients' needs. Her gentle manner is combined with steely determination and she will go that extra mile to get the job done. If you want to sell your house you can rely on Sophia to get the best deal for you.”
“We called in here today as we'd stayed overnight at The George Public House. We had a very welcoming reception and really fantastic coffee. It was a different kind of experience too and we will definitely be back. Prices were also very fair.”
“Popped in with friends for lunch. Great choice of hot sandwiches with a meal deal and a nice selection of cakes. We sat outside in a shaded area with a nice through breeze.”
“Passing through and saw this little place. Popped in for a bacon butty and a wee and it’s made me genuinely sad that I don’t live around the corner so I could visit every week. Staff (Sharon and Darcy) were so friendly even though we aren’t local. They had regulars (known by name) and clearly look after them making everyone feel special. Spending time chatting with an older gentleman. It’s opposite the park and botanical gardens, I walked the dog before popping in. Really wished I lived closer to be able to come back get bits for a picnic and stroll in the parks. Dog friendly too! Bacon butty - banging Takeaway brownie not yet eaten but smells divine. Service warm and friendly And the best bit, evening guest chefs and wine! Anyone have the number of an estate agent?”
“OMG what a day! Me and my partner had a cheese tour as my birthday present. God do they know alot about Cheese. We were so blown away by the proces it was so interesting day. Were going back as food in Cafe was amazing.”
“We visited Square Grill in Bath and had a fantastic experience! The ambience was amazing, giving off a royal and elegant vibe. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was top-notch—very friendly and attentive staff. The location is perfect, right opposite the Roman Baths Museum, making it a great stop during your visit to the city. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a classy dining experience in Bath!”
“Great local cafe. Good coffee, wide range of cakes. Good light meal range. Seating inside and uncovered seating outside in fairly quiet side road.”
“Lovely little coffee shop with a great selection of cookies and pastries. The barista was super friendly. The cookies looked delicious and super fresh so we had to try the rainbow chocolate cookie. It crumbled in our hands so you knew it was just made and it was delicious.”
“We had the 7 course tasting menu, I had the farm & sea then my partner had the land option which we shared the lot. Thank God we did as it would have been an incredible shame to miss out on some of the dishes! Every single bite was truly incredible, so many levels of flavour and such perfect combinations, truly hats off to the chef. The wine pairing was such a highlight as well, some very unique wines that fitted perfectly with the dishes but were also devine on their own. The service completed the evening, it was so attentive but not at all in your face, they were both very knowledgeable on the dishes and the wines. They also added a really homely, welcoming vibe which was so refreshing. Far too many places doing this level of food have a element of snobbery which can be off putting but not these two, they made us feel so welcomed and created such a warm environ. Without a doubt would visit again and will be recommending to anyone and everyone!”
“Excellent place to have breakfast. Place was clean and food was lovely. Friendly staffs.”
“Went here for my sisters birthday brunch and it was a great experience. The food was delicious and the portion sizes are generous. Good atmosphere and lovely ambiance.”
“Honestly a hidden gem for families with children. Plenty of toys to keep them occupied and a very generous menu that caters to their allergies and all at a great price! All the adults had coffee, sandwich, and cake and it was all delicious! The staff were also super friendly and patient. Can't recommend enough!”
“Booked in for Sunday roast which I can honestly say was the best roast I've had for a long time. So many pubs do roast very average but this was way above that. Everything was cooked lovely and the service was great. Well worth a visit and we'll definitely be back.”
“Newton Farm Cafe and Restaurant Bath UK. It’s very popular place even far from town. I've been here many times after walking through the beautiful landscape of Bath Spa University at Newton Park campus. We always had lovely meals and a lovely time here at Newton Farm cafe/ restaurant. Organic ingredients from their farm. Beautiful location, delicious food and a proper coffee. Excellent friendly service from everyone members. I love this place and highly recommend it to everyone! See you again soon.”
“Every time I visit Bath, I make sure I have time to tick off Good Day Café! The staff are super lovely and welcoming. They have so many delicious breakfast brunch meals available, it's always an "umm" and "arrrr" moment when I look at the menu but I know whatever I choose, it'll be heaven! Their sweet treats are the best in Bath, such a big and fun selection of items. I recently bought an eyeball scotchie and the mint scare-ro brownie roll - DIVINE! ❤️ I'd highly recommend the Good Day Café for the best experience and tastes ❤️”
“We ate on the patio as it was a beautiful day. The food was some of the best we ate while visiting England. Our waitress was kind, courteous, and made excellent recommendations.”
“Lovely cafe with great food. We tried the special: Bubble and Squeak, and it was very tasty and filling. The atmosphere is great, especially at the terrace. There is also a great tea selection, I had the Apple tea and it was very nice. The staff was outstanding, always attentive and helpful.”
“Convenient stop for taking a break from cycling down bristol and bath railway path. Bike parking available just outside the coffee shop. Very nice match latte and granola. The place was decent and clean. Definitely will visit again.”
“Very good. Friendly and helpful staff. Busy with a good atmosphere. Seemed like good quality food and drinks to me. Well worth a walk from the Bath Spa campus car parks”
“This was my first time visiting Bath, and I found this restaurant while researching the town, no disappointment at all! The food was amazing, and the service was spot on. I’d recommend the courgette, it might look like a regular zucchini in the photo, but trust me, it’s incredible! Another favorite of mine was the crispy pork belly. The black beans were a little salty for me, but they pair perfectly with the pork, which was cooked to perfection. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Bath!”
