Having eaten here previously and experiencing great service and food, we were left disappointed on our visit today. We had to ask the waitress to take our drinks order, our food order, clear our plates and for the Bill. We were not offered the desert menu or any top up of drinks. When we asked for our plates to be cleared she took what she could carry and then stood at the till chatting to her colleague. I asked once again for her to clear the rest of the plates . She replied that her colleague was going on break. I’m not sure how that was relevant. But no apology. The food tasted great but could have been warmer. Probably as a lot of the servers seemed to be standing around chatting. If they were rushed off their feet I would be a lot more understanding. Such a shame. Sadly won’t be returning on a Sunday, such a shame as we like to support local businesses. I hope the management take this feedback onboard, as the good is really good. I hope we were just unlucky with the staff on this occasion.

Went there for a coffee, a tea and a couple of slices of lemon drizzle cake, the cake looked nothing like the cake we saw on the counter and less 1 cm thick. Since we paid for this before sitting at our table we feel totally ripped off.

Had a really lovely lunch here recently. We were lucky to get a table without prebooking although we were advised that it usually best to book ahead. Food was freshly prepared and plentiful. Service was excellent all round. Very well stocked small farm and gift shop all in a very nice setting. Plenty of outside space if the weather permits and also a play area.

Really impressed with our breakfast; everything felt homemade and super tasty. My veggie breakfast was inventive with chickpea and red pepper croquettes. Lovely shaded outside area and peaceful setting. Lovely, attentive staff.

Newton Farm Cafe and Restaurant Bath UK. It’s very popular place even far from town. I've been here many times after walking through the beautiful landscape of Bath Spa University at Newton Park campus. We always had lovely meals and a lovely time here at Newton Farm cafe/ restaurant. Organic ingredients from their farm. Beautiful location, delicious food and a proper coffee. Excellent friendly service from everyone members. I love this place and highly recommend it to everyone! See you again soon.

Very sad that this place has changed so much.Looks very nice but much preferred the old style food we used to get.We all went for breakfast .Who cuts a mushroom in half for gpodness sake, tiny piece of bacon, and my tomato had been roasted I will eat my hat (rock hard).Cappuccino was delicious, maybe coffee and toast next time if we did go back.We used to be regular visitors but think we have been put off this time.I realise food prices have been hit enormously but we certainly were not satisfied cuddling

Just popped in for a cuppa and slice of very delicious cake, I had the Victoria sponge which was like my Mum used to make, just as cake shoukd be with a good 3 cup potvof tea! My friend had the carrot cake and a coffe and enjpyed hers too. It was a lovely afternoon so we sat outside in the garden. Staff friendly and polite, inside was clean and welll set out, I would of liked to try all the cakes, maybe next time!

Amazing little Cafe hidden away in the country, can be very busy and may have to wait for a table at peak times but it is very much worth the wait. Food is cooked to order and seasoned nicely. I recommend the full English, mushroom with poached egg & hollandaise sauce, and the cream tea was very nice.
