“We lucked into the most magical day on our Cotswolds tour with Chris as our guide! What to say? We were excited for it but the tour so exceeded even our most hopeful expectations. Chris brought us to several villages-- and on the fly curated the trip around our expressed interests and those of the additional guest (who was also an amazing human and like a friend by the end of the tour!). He is unbelievably knowledgable. But what sets Chris apart is the way he distills complex history into an understandable story that very quickly facilitates enhanced appreciation for the deep significance of these places beyond their obvious beauty. I took pages of notes and came away with an intense desire to learn more about the place and British history. As an added bonus, Chris is funny, witty, helpful, kind, and interested. He is passionate about history and traveling and that all just enhanced is story telling. It truly was an experience of a lifetime and we are so grateful to Chris for that gift. On the more business like side-- pick up was prompt, van was great, water appreciated, tea and lunch spots authentic and wonderfully charming. “Incredible Italian Deli in bath with an array of great ingredients as well as some amazing sandwiches made fresh right in front of you. So fresh that you can see them baking the bread before putting the toppings in it! I asked what they recommended and went with the number 3 which came with mortadella, pesto, burrata etc. It was delicious and I wish we had more places like this in Brighton.”

“Yesterday I went for lunch with my family to Bouvardia Restaurant for Sunday dinner. The decor was beautiful, it felt very peaceful there. The waiters were very polite and friendly and gave us recommendations. We were delighted the quality of the food (was told they use local produce and the menu that changes with the seasons) - my son said the beef ravioli was so good that he wants to come and have it everyday! The chicken was one of the most tender and tastiest I have had in a very long time Half way through our meal we were already saying we need to come back for dinner to try the regular menu! Quite surprised most people we told about have not heard about it, a true hidden gem in Bath!”

“Lovely traditional room. Great view. Special attentions for our dog, dog box (ball, treats, biscuits, poo bags), as well as a bed he loved and food bowls. Needed an earlier breakfast, which was no problem. Jean-Luc was very attentive to our needs, and we had a lovely stay in this beautiful part of Bath!”

“Well, what a restaurant. I would implore you to visit. The food is fabulous. More importantly the service is wonderful. We came for lunch and spent nearly 2 hours talking to the owners and staff ans more importantly tasting lovely food. At £35 for 3 courses, an absolute steal.”

“It's our go to restaurant for steak even though we're not local to it it's worth the trip. Always melt in the mouth steak. Puddings are good too, have had the Creme brûlée and the rice pudding. Big portions and good flavours.”

“Amazing food! I had the scallops, then duck, and then the chocolate ganache to finish - all dishes were very delicious and cooked well. The cheese board also has a great selection of cheeses, and they give you a mountain of crackers. The staff were also lovely and attentive. Will definitely be recommending this restaurant to everyone!”

“We stayed for 2 nights at The Yard after our wedding and it was great. The location is fantastic and very central which makes walking to the city centre easy. The rooms are nicely finished and clean with a great bathroom. Really comfortable beds and in a very quiet location too.”

“The way food should be!! Just such an amazing lunch on our second and equally amazing visit. The menu was varied and interesting and really shows what plant based cuisine can be. The service was impeccable - attentive but discrete, and the food of excellent quality. The private dining room has a large single table and high ceilings and was perfect for dinner parties. “Lovely Afternoon Tea Experience in the Heart of Bath We visited this location for Afternoon Tea and had a really beautiful experience. We arrived around 2:30 PM and were lucky to catch a live piano concert, which added an elegant touch to the atmosphere. The standard Afternoon Tea menu was around £100 for two people, which felt fair considering the amount of food included. There is plenty to eat — definitely more sweet than savoury — but everything was fresh and nicely presented. The service was very kind and attentive, and the interior is absolutely charming. One of the highlights is the back rooms, where the walls display the history of the place and its connection to the Roman Baths. It’s actually linked to the Pump Room, and if you choose to visit the Pump Room and then the Roman Baths afterwards, you can skip the main queue, which is a great bonus. Overall, if you’re visiting Bath and want a traditional Afternoon Tea in a beautiful and historic setting, I definitely recommend this place.”

The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was top-notch—very friendly and attentive staff. The location is perfect, right opposite the Roman Baths Museum, making it a great stop during your visit to the city. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a classy dining experience in Bath!”

“Wow Wow Wow. Fantastic! We were in the Bath for the weekend and thought we'd try Pintxo out as we'd walked past before on previous visits and we hadn't booked any food for the weekend - not knowing what to expect from the Christmas markets. On arrival we spent around 15 mins sat at the bar waiting for a table (soaking in the top notch atmosphere) after hanging our coats up, ordered our drinks and were promptly seated once a table became available. The food was simply fantastic, it was soooo tasty! The Deep Fried Aubergines were out of this world, the portions were great and the staff were very friendly and very attentive to clear room when we had finished plates. We will certainly be back on our next visit to Bath, one of the best Tapas we've had outside of Spain (and even including!).”

“Pretty decent food for a good price, I had a milkshake and burger. The chips were fantastic and so was the milkshake! The burger was decent too. The main takeaway from eating here was the atmosphere was really quite nice in my opinion. It was busy and the decor was awesome! The service was decent but the kitchen is quite small so food did take some time to come out. But if your not in a rush its worth a visit.”
