Walked into Portofino without a booking, and despite it being very busy, we were seated quickly. The Italian food was absolutely delicious and worth the visit. Service was a little slow, but understandable given how packed the restaurant was. Highly recommended for a great meal in Bath
Genuinely amazing. The food, was brilliant. Such good portions, just full of proper flavour. George served us tonight, and was a pleasure to chat to. Highly recommend for date night…or take a friend! You’ll be seeing us again!

Really authentic Italian food one can enjoy here. Ordered several dishes, including various seafood, like oyster, mussels, squid and sea bass, and the beef. All exceeded of expectation. Don't forget tiramisu before you go.

Went here to grab a quick bite to eat and was generally blown away about how good the food was, the staff were very friendly and very professional. The food arrived quicker than expected but the quality was out of this world. Highly recommended you dine here.
My girlfriend and I had a lovely time here! Friendly staff, very warm on a snowy day and excellent food. I had the mixed seafood pasta, and my girlfriend had the muscle pot! Food tasted great and the negroni was nice too. We came here after being turned away by the rude staff at “dough” and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. I recommend this restaurant very highly and this may have been our best meal in our month in the UK so far!
We had the loveliest dinner at the restaurant. Ordered 8 oysters for starters, they were fresh and creamy, also reasonably priced. For mains we had spaghetti with clams and grilled fish - both meals were excellent. For dessert we had tiramisu, which was a little too firm and could have had more coffee in the ladyfingers but was also pleasant. We also got limoncellos on the house which was a nice surprise. Service was excellent, all servers were polite and friendly. Will definitely be back!
We were first time here in Bath and we have no idea where to eat. This is a happy accident that we choose this restaurant. This is one of the best Italian restaurant I have eaten for quite awhile. The oyster was very fresh. The grilled octopus was also lid. As for the main course, we had vongole spaghetti and grilled sword fish. Both are super delicious and really fresh. If we come back to Bath again, we will definitely eat here for sure!
An excellent Italian restaurant in a central location. Interior decoration is very modern. We had oysters, grilled octopus, king scallops, two pasta(seafood risotto and king prawn linguini) and a Greek salad. All are tasty and good portions. Coffee is also decent. The king prawns are huuuuuge. I’d highly recommend this place.
