“Everything about the apartment was five star. The customer service was excellent, very informative and made the whole checking in and checking out process easy. The location couldn’t be more central. You don’t even realise you’re slap bang in the middle of a city centre as it’s still really peaceful. The apartment itself is immaculate. It’s spacious, luxurious, and had the best terrace with the most incredible view over the cathedral and hills in the distance. You get so much more for your money than you ever would in a hotel. I will definitely be booking again.”
Located on the historic Great Pulteney Street in Bathwick, Bath, The Restaurant at No.15 provides an inviting culinary retreat for locals and visitors alike. Positioned within a boutique hotel setting, this charming establishment blends elegant Georgian surroundings with a relaxed dining atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a thoughtful food menu featuring seasoned sirloin steaks, flavorful risottos, and artisanal charcuterie boards. The bar serves an extensive selection of top-quality spirits, curated wines, and expertly crafted signature cocktails.
“Extremely helpful and pleasant service today at Nisbets Bath. It's a huge shop with an extensive range of quality, well-priced kitchenware and other goods. It's not only for caterers ... did you know members of the public can buy too (instore and online)?”
“Wonderful welcome from Rafa, superb knowledge of the cheeses we had and the champagne was delicious with the cheese. Special occasion and this fabulous restaurant fitted the occasion. Will most certainly be making a return soon. Thankyou Rafa and co x”
“Great apartment for a very good and honest price! Super comfortable, spacious and clean. The location is the best. Middle of the center so you do not need a car. Great outdoors as well on just a few minutes walk. We will come back!”
“A warm welcome awaits you here. With well kept rooms and a nice choice of breakfast to eat in you room. The staff are all friendly and accommodating, we will definitely return soon. Stay here and you won't be disappointed. Only a short walk into the city centre.”
“The Priory is local to us & we have thought about booking the restaurant for quite some time, but I find it hard to try new places. We were gifted a voucher for the restaurant last Xmas, so last week we finally used it. We booked via the website & added our usual request for quiet area as ASD. I have to say I was apprehensive, but I was very impressed. From the moment we arrived the service was excellent and the staff so friendly. I felt VERY comfortable here, which for a first visit, is high praise indeed! We sat in the panel room, with dark wood panelled walls. As they were quieter on the evening we came, they gave me a choice of table, which I really appreciated! (I would book this table again in the future!) We were looked after by David, & he was great - just the right balance of attentiveness! We chose from the three course set menu and the food was delicious. Hubby had cured smoked duck to start, I had smoked ham hock and jalapeño croquettes - the duck was so tender & the croquettes crispy & melty inside. We both had the pork loin for mains, with triple cooked chips & roasted Jerusalem artichokes to share. Again, we couldn’t fault anything. The pork loin was slightly pink and melted in your mouth, the chips were amazing & the artichokes were gorgeous. A great pairing! Finally we decided on the Orange & Almond cake & the cheese board to finish, which we also shared. Again, perfection! Another point for us is, as real ale drinkers, so often you find that restaurants in hotels skip on the cask ales, but The Priory have their own pale ale as well as one of our favourites - Bath Ales, Gem! Thank you for a lovely evening, our first visit but definitely not our last.”
“So I have been past so many times thinking s as about popping in and I’m so glad I did, the pizzas were exactly what we wanted, really nicely presented and soft drinks so can’t really comment on the full range but looks good, the man who served us was very kind allowing the dogs to sit with us and the price was very good so it’s a big thumbs up. I will be back!”
“very delicious brunch and at such a good price for the food and portion you get . didn’t have any problems with anything i got . go here regularly because it never disappoints. service is very fast too and the workers are very polite and accommodating . highly recommend this cafe”
“Couldn’t say more about our stay. Warmly greeted by cheerful and helpful staff. Primary contact at front desk (reception area pictured) during our stay was Charlie - informative and positive. We stayed in Rm 28 which looked over Bath’s recreation field (bowling lawn and croquet field) with Abbey in the distance. Only downside was lack of storage - challenge for us as we had a 5 night stay (seems most folks have shorter stays). The Plate has a good breakfast and dinners were varied and good (had our first Sunday roast beef dinner and it was memorable). Location provides 10-15 minute walkable access to a number of activities (rowing on the Avon, viewed our first cricket match, the Holbourne Museum, and all that Bath proper has to offer). I asked a former co-worker (Brit ex-pat) best place for holiday in Britain and he replied quickly, Bath. The Bird Bath made it that much better. Highly recommend.”
“As the food standards in the UK, the taste of food here is great. Never disappointed. Though I think there is a lack of vegetable in the bowl meal.”
“Absolutely fantastic in every way. The service was excellent the food was exceptional. We had a voucher for birthday Prosecco and a voucher for some money off. The staff applied the 12.5% service charge after all the discount had come off which is crazy as it left them with a very poor £1.50 tip! Sort that out management. We obviously left a proper tip as the servers, Tillie and Hannah were great and the food (fish pie) best I ever had! Reasonable price for the quality. Better than the Ivy!”
“Fantastic Thai food which isn't very easy to find, in Bath or elsewhere in the UK. We were here on a Sunday night and there were few people thus cannot comment on how fast service would've been during busy times, but it was pretty quick for us. The waitress was courteous. Prices were reasonable too. The pad siew gayi is highly recommended as well as green chicken curry.”
“One of the best Ivy locations in the UK—not just in terms of ambience, but also because the quality of food is spot-on. The service is impeccable, and the restaurant is right in the heart of Bath city centre. It’s buzzing throughout the day, and whenever you walk in, it’s always busy. Every time I’m in Bath, I make sure to have at least one meal here. Reservations aren’t required in the mornings, even on weekends. Breakfast is served until 11 am on weekends and until 11:30 am on weekdays, with an excellent English breakfast available.”
“We went during the Xmas markets and a rugby game. Everywhere was packed and it was no exception here. The staff were still brilliant, attentive, correct with the order's, didn't forget to bring extra drinks etc. The food was still delicious and well cooked. The chef was working flat out full speed the whole time we were there and so were the servers. Really surprised and impressed with the service.”
“My husband and I recently celebrated his birthday at Bath Sushi, and I cannot express how delighted we were with the entire experience. From the moment we stepped in the attentive staff, especially our helpful waitress Cherry, went above and beyond to make our evening enjoyable. The menu offered a delightful variety of sushi, and our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable, guiding us through the selections and even recommending a fantastic sake for my first-time experience. The flavours of both the food and sake were simply exquisite, leaving us eager to return and try more of the menu. What truly stood out was the personal touch on my husband's birthday celebration. The staff surprised us with a rendition of "Happy Birthday" and presented a delightful moshi adorned with a candle. It was a charming touch that showcased their commitment to making the visit special. Thanks to this evening, Bath Sushi has undeniably become one of our favourite restaurants in the area, not just for its cuisine but also for the outstanding service and overall experience. We highly recommend for those seeking a perfect blend of great food and warm hospitality. We look forward to many more celebrations at Bath Sushi!”
“Great healthy option For a quick meal! We had the veggie bowl naked burrito and it was good. I wish we had used the spicy version of the sauce. Great ambience.”
“Delicious food, amazing mocktails and great service! We had a pleasant experience at the coconut tree, our server Ash was very attentive and gave us recommendations. The portion sizes may not look big but they do fill you up very quickly. The calamari in particular was the star of the show! We’d love to come back to try the other half of the menu.”
“Absolutely wonderful service today! Mel looked after us and was incredible. The food was divine. Quick service, amazing setting and fantastic food.”
“Had the Sunday Sharing Platter of three meats. Possibly wouldn’t have if we knew it involved 45 minutes wait. But really great when it came. Cold by the time we finished as the air conditioner was super happy. Staff decent, but a warning of the impending delay would have helped. We could have stood outside. Took a chunk home for my rescue python. Don’t ask. All the best team Miller and Carter.”
“One of the best spots for brunch in Bath! Has plenty of seating, great music, fast wifi and amazing food with big portions. Staff were friendly :) Will definitely return!”
“The rooms are clean, modern and have everything you need! Staff are friendly, polite and helpful- even when busy! Tasty breakfast included in the price! Absolutely brilliant! What more could you ask for- would definitely stay again!”
“Lovely atmosphere with amazing pizza and staff!!”
“Met up with family to celebrate our son's birthday. The waiting staff girls were really friendly. We ate fairly early (6pm). The tables were spaced far enough apart to make it seem intimate. Lovely atmosphere in The Crown and the food was delicious and nicely presented. Good choice of beers.”
“Had a cocktail masterclass with Ellen for my hen do and she was fantastic! Really knowledgeable and patient with us, tasty cocktails, gorgeous set up. Would recommend xxx”
“Outside and weather dependant but we had great conditions. It was popular and a real treat for my family. Glad we got the family ticket for £50 and then 1 more child plus booking fee. Some just paid on the day and queued. An hour is enough. There were enough skates for everyone. Good times and good vibes. Merry Christmas!”
“We had a lovely evening at Cote. Cote has a really relaxed atmosphere. It was great to be able to have a conversation without too much noise. And it was well lit unlike some restaurants where you can’t read the menu with ease. The food was amazing cooked to perfection with a just right portion size. I had the vegan options which there were lots to choose from. The food arrived really quickly as well. The staff were very friendly and efficient too.”
“Popped in for a bite after work to try and escape all the crazy traffic. Staff were great and not in your face. Food was really good - I do love tater tots! The pizzas were very good indeed. Nice thin and crispy base - and they were huge!! Lovely quick bite, pop in if you're in Bath.”
“The Royal Crescent was a great stay. Lovely grounds, amazing service and just relaxing. So quiet it was refreshing.”
“Had an amazing meal at Thai Balcony in Bath. We went for the set menu (£36 per person) and it was excellent – loads of variety, really generous portions, and every dish was full of flavour. The curries were rich and aromatic, the stir-fry was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the starters were a great mix to share. The staff were really friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was lovely too – cosy, authentic, and a great spot for a nice evening meal. Overall, brilliant value for money and one of the best Thai meals I’ve had in the UK. Definitely recommend if you’re in Bath!”
