“Fantastic Thai food which isn't very easy to find, in Bath or elsewhere in the UK. We were here on a Sunday night and there were few people thus cannot comment on how fast service would've been during busy times, but it was pretty quick for us. The waitress was courteous. Prices were reasonable too. The pad siew gayi is highly recommended as well as green chicken curry.”

“Had an amazing meal at Thai Balcony in Bath. We went for the set menu (£36 per person) and it was excellent – loads of variety, really generous portions, and every dish was full of flavour. The curries were rich and aromatic, the stir-fry was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the starters were a great mix to share. The staff were really friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was lovely too – cosy, authentic, and a great spot for a nice evening meal. Overall, brilliant value for money and one of the best Thai meals I’ve had in the UK. “Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting Thaikhun in Bath. I have been here a few times now over my time at university and every time I’ve been I’ve had a great experience. What strikes you immediately is the authentic feel, you literally feel like you’re walking into a piece of Thailand. The layout imitates the hustle and bustle of the streets and food stalls of Bangkok with bright and colourful Thai advertisements, street signs, Buddhist shrines and much more. The service was second to none. My server Oat, originating from Bangkok, immediately brought the famous Thai hospitality that I experienced on my travels to life. He was attentive, friendly and a genuinely lovely guy to have a chat with. I ordered the Thai BBQ chicken wings, the stir fry pork belly with egg fried rice. The food was authentic, tasty, well-balanced and the right level of spice. It really took me back to the delicious flavours, spices, seasonings and aromas I experienced when I visited Thailand. I would recommend this place to anyone that loves Thai food or wants to try Thai food for the first time!”

“Wow I've been eating Chinese all my life and this has to be the best one I have ever had. The sweet and sour chicken just melts in your mouth. Special fried rice perfect. The only negative is the bag the delivery driver had was a bit past it definitely needs a new one but this is going to be our Chinese from now on.”

“We’ve eaten here in the evening and at lunch for the bento boxes. Both times were lovely - the restaurant is spotless, the staff are lovely, and a lovely, calm atmosphere. The food is absolutely beautiful, but I could happily eat an entire vat of the Japanese pickled vegetables. The drinks also looked lovely, both times we were unable to have anything alcoholic but the apricot sour and pear drink were divine. Would absolutely recommend”

“Been wanting to try this place since I saw the video of Marco PW reviewing it eating here on Instagram. It was a weekday lunchtime, I was the only visitor. There’s a deal for one person set menu. £26 gets you any two starters, any main plus any rice or noodle dish. The food was excellent, absolute perfection. I wish I had been more adventurous as there are so many interesting dishes on the menu. I will be coming back and bringing a group next time.”
