“I've eaten here twice now, once on a Saturday evening and once on a Sunday lunchtime. On both occasions I found both the food and service to be exceptional. The staff were both helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I live 45 minutes away, but the food was so incredibly good that I happily travelled that far a second time, and I would happily travel there again and again. The burrito was delicious, as was the roast dinner. I also liked the fact that they have vegan drinks on the menu. In the future I would be very interested in attending one of their cookery classes.”

“Best Thai food I've had in a while. I was pleasantly surprised. The spice was good also. I lived in Utah for a while and I couldn't find one Thai restaurant that added enough spiciness to the food. Here they had a pepper mix that they just doubled up on for me and that did the trick. I asked for the hottest and then just asked for a couple more spoon-fulls. That did the trick. If you like spicy Thai food they can get pretty close here.”

They were super accommodating to us when we arranged a surprise dinner for my dad with friends who had travelled up from LA and they opened up the restaurant especially for us on a night when it would have otherwise been closed. “We heard about this restaurant from our friends who visited last year and we made a one-day trip to Norwich to try it. Yes - that's how passionate we Malaysians are when it comes to food. Aside from badminton, eating is our best favourite national sports. The food is flavorful and the ambience is lovely. We had Nasi Lemak Ayam Rendang, Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah, and Pasembur. I also had the Teh Tarik which is served hot - just what I love. I believe the ingredients are locally sourced so it'd be unfair to compare with what my taste buds grew up with. This is good enough for me. It was a truly authentic experience for us overall as we arrived slightly after lunch hours and had the peace and quiet to savour our food at our own sweet time and it totally felt like eating and catching up at the mamak except in a less sweaty, less noisy, and more cozy environment. It felt like home.”

“Great authentic Thai food! The tempura king prawns were the very best I’ve had - and I’ve been to plenty of Thai restaurants. They were large, light, crispy and unctuous. And luckily because the food is cooked by a Thai woman they cooked me an off-menu item for the main course- Thai prawn jungle curry which was delicious if perhaps on the hot side. And very nice coffee for afterwards as well. Next time I’m in Norwich I will be booking a place here!”
