Me and my partner went for an evening meal and the service was very quick. Our server Evelina was very polite and made the experience very relaxed. Overall it’s a great place to eat and would recommend
Loved the place and drinks! Food was disappointing for a bottomless brunch menu as ordered a big plate of jerk chicken and there was only breast fillet on the plate with no veggies or salad apart from chips. Friend ordered small plates and those looked bigger than my big plate. Other than that delicious cocktails, nice atmosphere and good service. Our waitress was Evelina, nice girl :)
The food was so good! We ordered the curried goat and the jamaican brown chicken both with fries as they were both delicious and perfect portion sizes. Very friendly service and quick too. Definitely would recommend!
The service was outstanding today. You could see that the staff were under pressure without letting it show by their body language and the way they addressed and spoke to us. There are a couple of things that were not adequate with our orders and they quick to fix the issue for us.
This is a lovely place. The staff are friendly and the cocktails are delicious - especially the Dessert Island, which is coffee based. The place is nicely decorated, but be aware that it can get quite busy. They also have a good 2 for 1 deal, which is fantastic. I would definitely come back here.
Went here on a Thursday evening. The atmosphere was reasonably good and not too busy. Did book ahead on their website. Staff were friendly but maybe a little disconnected. Felt a little welcome but not too much. Could have done with being a little more friendly and pro-active but maybe they could have used an extra hand on deck. I had the Kingston fried chicken, which was nice but the portion wasn't very big. The drinks were a decent size, though. All in all it was reasonable.
First time at Turtle bay. We went on a Tuesday evening about 7pm, it wasn't overly busy when we walked in. We were sat at a table quite quickly, drinks order taken. Took a little while for our drinks to arrive. Starters came quite quickly. We ordered our main meal, which seemed to take forever to come, after some time we noticed plates of food just sitting waiting to be collected, we saw them sitting there for a good 30 mins, before a chef came out of the kitchen and asked someone to come and get the food out and stop chatting. We decided not to order any dessert as it took forever for the main. Also asked for a lemonade while eating dinner and it never arrived, had to ask again for it and when it came there was a fly floating in it. Reasonably priced to eat at, the food was tasty, but not sure if I'd be going back for a while, such a shame as I was looking forward to it.
Caribbean themed bar & restaurant. I can’t attest to its food as I came here for drinks. Which were amazing. My wife & I both had time drinks & they were 2 for 1. Candidly, what drew me in was as I walked by band poster for my neighborhood bar in my hometown in Orlando was plastered all over the walls. Small world! I would highly recommend coming in for drinks & if their food is vm as good as their drinks you’ll be pleased you did.
