It’s always a good time at Wagamama’s! The food is consistent, delicious, and nutritious. And the team are always welcoming. We were served by Liv, who offered attentive service. We visited last week, on a Monday evening. The environment was calm, and relaxed. Green tea is offered free of charge, and we’ll enjoy several cups throughout our meal. On this particular evening, we enjoyed the oyster + shiitake mushroom bao buns with panko aubergine and mayo, these had such a rich umami flavour, every bite was savoured. Having dined with Wagamama’s many times before, this was our first time trying the pickles — and potentially our last. We were hoping for stronger, more pronounced flavours, though they all had a similar taste. A Wagamama’s visit is not complete without the yasai vegetable gyoza with a spiced vinegar sauce, they’re a staple! A festive twist on a classic, we tried the cranberry yasai katsu curry, with panko sweet potato, butternut squash and aubergine, sticky white rice, cranberry katsu curry sauce, and salad — this was a delight. Tart and sweet bursts of cranberry mixed through savoury warm katsu, I had to ask for extra sauce! And for dessert: panko bao filled with a scoop of ice cream and sauce. We tried the miso caramel and toffee, and the matcha and chocolate. Reminiscent of a doughnut, the inner bao was not soft and fluffy as I was expecting. It feels as if they are pre-cooked, presumably to make service a little smoother during busy periods. The miso caramel ice cream is sweet and salty, pairing perfectly with the toffee sauce. And the matcha ice cream is creamy, with a strong matcha flavour, and pairs well with chocolate sauce. The bao nut being made fresh to order would certainly elevate this dish, with the ice cream melting as it arrives inside of the hot fried dough. In any event, we leave Wagamama’s feeling nourished, and well taken care of.

Went to wagas for the first time ever!! It was a busy Saturday, the wait to be seated was about 10 minutes (pretty damn good) however the time it took us to get served was about 40 minutes (fully appreciate it was really busy though). The food was lovely, and my dairy allergy was handled really well! The server (Sophie) was also very friendly and understanding when I took a little while giving my order due to my anxiety.

Stopped by Wagamama Norwich for a quick bite, and it didn’t disappoint. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out super fast. Loved the cozy vibe inside—perfect for a casual meal with friends or even solo. Definitely coming back for the chicken wings again!

Brilliant meal. Lovely friendly staff, great menu choices including drinks (mocktails too!). The build your own Donburi bowl is fantastic, and I strongly recommend the hot honey chicken. Generous portions - i couldn't finish mine! Reasonable pricing too, I'll be back!

Food was absolutely lovely. Service was a bit slow, little staff for how busy it was but staff were all lovely and helpful. Very tasty and fresh.

Wow, the vegan Shu's Shiok Jackfruit tastes phenomenal! I'm a truly stuffed and satisfied vegan, this is super good. A hearty warming, colorful and vibrant bowl where heaps of chilli spice and paste are a fantastic combo. I took a whim and trusted the kind servers fantastic recommendation, it was a safe bet for sure! I also tried out the Yasai Dumplings which weren't bad, I'd love a bit more matcha and shitaake filling if possible. A nice chilled vibe and clean modern eatery makes the place an always go-to for me and a purpose to actually eat here when on trips to the UK to be honest. Wagamamas is awesome, love the style, efficiency, service and delicious menu which caters a great amount of pan Asian fusion dishes for vegans, veggies etc. This joint always has something to offer for everyone, I love it! I would love if Wagamamas can invest in good reusable chopsticks (I ended up using my own) to help prevent unnecessary recycling and the single use ones are garbage. Take advantage of the yum free green tea!

Me and my wife went in today, queued for 20 minutes which is fine and were taken to our seats. I mentioned to the server we didn't have long and I gave him our orders, a katsu curry, drinks and a stater of squid and main of ginger chicken for me. Five mins in my wife's food arrvied, piping hot and she tucks in. 10 mins pass, 15, 20, 25 minutes have passed so I asked my server what's going on with my order to which he replies it should be with you soon. I said it shouldn't take 25 minutes to serve me a starter it's not even that busy, I'll just cancel my order. He says nothing. I sit down my wife continues to eat slowly, and 35 minutes later a manager I assumed and another guy bring me my food. I said don't worry I cancelled my order, to which they replied we had a problem with your dish so we remade it. No one told me, they just let me sit there for half an hour, no starter no main and that's why I'm leaving this one star review. If you're doing quality control to make sure foods going out at its best that's great do that. But let the customer know what's going on. Having to sit there that long without so much of a peep from anyone takes the piss.

Eaten here and always enjoyed so I tried their home delivery service yesterday and I must say I was very surprised how hot the food arrived and it came in the cutest little eco earth friendly re-usable bowls too. Everything arrived on time and tasted great ,thank you again Wagamamas

I have tried twice and am convinced I won’t go back again. The juice was great but the ramen is not good, I ordered rich broth but in no way is the broth rich as it’s so diluted. The taste is like instant noodles. I tried the Thai curry another time and the curry is so diluted and has no hint of a curry dish. You can’t call these Japanese or Thai food. It’s just British Asian food that tastes off. That said service was good in the restaurant. They took card to note my allergens and advised what not to eat.

The ramen was pretty good! Some of the sides were underwhelming but all in all, I would come back! The chili squid was so good!
