“Giggling sqid is my new favourite vegan restaurant. Fantastic service. Vegan red wine. Incredibly tasty food. I wanted to try very vegan thing on the menu. Nearly everything can be done vegan. Chrispy chilli chickpeas and salt and pepper mushrooms I am still dreaming about. Highly recommend.”
“Very nice experience. Lovely staff and taste of sushi amazing. But price quite expensive for 4ppl set £120 and this is about 45 piceses so not enought for everyone”
“We have been going to Matane for years and it is hands down the best sushi we have found in Norfolk. Their selection is fantastic and the sushi rolls are delicious, if anyone wants take away sushi quickly i recommend here. For larger groups their sharing platters are excellent and for individuals their portions are well sized. Their staff are really nice and have never made us feel unwelcome or awkward. The only downside is their restaurant seating is very limited, around 10 seats inside on a communal table or window table. We have eaten in before and it was perfectly comfortable but I wouldn’t go for a dinner with multiple people. Long story short- Eat here! Take away is the best option, the staff are also very nice!”
“I really liked this little chopstix treat. Easy setup and super tasty food”
“We loved our meal here. Everything was so tasty. We were able to order in confidence our meal would be vegan. The staff are very attentive and helpful. It's very busy, clearly a popular restaurant. We will definitely go again, it's amazing. Thanks for having us. We went again just last night, it has moved to Stracey Road, it was equally amazing, very tasty, I loved it all and will definitely return. Our waitress was so lovely smiling and happy, helpful and gave good advice. Thanks for keeping so good!”
“Been at this place first time and looking forward to visit more often now. Best Thai food I had in Ipswich with very polite staff gesture. The food was looking healthy and fresh by the first look itself. They didn’t asked to review but they deserves best reviews.”
“Lovely little find, chicken was a little squeaky but over all was lovely. Would definitely recommend. Seemed to be a lovely little place for the locals.”
“Visited on both a Sunday and Monday evenings for a takeaway. Didn’t phone ahead but only waited around 10 minutes each time, and there seemed to be plenty of orders coming through. Very friendly staff. The food was excellent, will definitely be visiting again!! Would highly recommend the beef curry and beef & mushroom!”
“Honestly was the best roast me and my partner have ever had! Portion sizes are really good and price is amazing for the quality of a roast you get. The staff were so friendly and service was quick! Such a lovely vibe. We have already organised to come back with family and have recommended to everyone we know!”
“All in all, one of the best pho that I had in a long time especially in the East Anglia. Staff and service treated like you were at their house having dinner with them. The Vietnamese egg coffee was the highlight of the experience 10/10.”
“Had a great meal here, everything was fresh and full of flavour with the beef in black pepper sauce being particularly great.”
“We had a lovely evening at Cosmos. Staff were very helpful. Food was plentiful and location a perfect walk from the carpark. Will definitely go again very soon.”
“Authentic Thai boat noodles in Norwich! I've been craving Thai boat noodles for a while, and I usually travel to London for Thai food since there’s more variety—though it always ends up being expensive. A friend recommended Mango Thai in Norwich, so I decided to give it a go. I’ve visited Norwich many times but never thought to try this place, as I didn’t expect it to be very authentic. I was pleasantly surprised! It’s a small, cosy restaurant with about nine tables and a really warm, friendly vibe. I ordered the Thai boat noodles and Thai milk tea. The noodles were amazing—rich, flavourful, and the portion was huge (which I loved). For dessert, I had the Thai coco & banana (banana in warm coconut milk with sesame seeds). Even though they didn’t use the traditional kluay nam wa banana, it was still so good I nearly cried. Highly recommend this place if you're craving proper Thai comfort food without having to go all the way to London!”
“Nice varied menu, food arrived quickly and hot, looked fresh, tasted great. Good portion sizes. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Have previously had takeaway years ago, menu has changed since then and prices seem quite reasonable considering the amount we ordered. Will hopefully return again soon!”
“My favourite Chinese take away. You can get a plenty of variety of Chinese food here. I found that most of the dishes come with same ingredients like broccoli, carrot, bamboo shoot but they only differ in the sauce and the protein, so they taste fairly the same to me. However, they are all delicious and pretty cheap. I also do recommend the crispy aromatic duck.”
“Lovely dinner, really friendly staff, cozy room. Felt like eating dinner in a friend’s kitchen (in a good way!) Would definitely return.”
“Not an exaggeration when I say this is some of the best Indian food I’ve had outside of India…although I ordered it months ago I still dream about it regularly, absolutely delicious food here”
“Very good takeaway food, tasty and smells good. Good price as well.”
“We visited The Cock Inn after getting a voucher through our door. Service was fast and efficient, food was hot and delicious. Ordered via the website to our table, drinks were with us so fast after ordering. No complaints.”
“Food is absolutely gorgeous from here, always piping hot and so delicious, can't recommend enough,”
“Best Spicy Chicken Don recommendation by the team itself worth it £9.”
“First time using this place but it certainly won't be our last, the food was really tasty and pretty good value. We didn't order ahead as we were staying locally in our caravan, and didn't have a menu, but only waited around 15 minutes for our food to be freshly cooked. Being down a small back street we only found it thanks to Google, but if you're debating whether it's worth the trip, I'd say it is, it was for us at least.”
“I was there since it was very first opened! the pork belly there is so good it reminds me almost of chicharron.”
“Best Chinese I have had. Friendly staff. Very fast to cook and good price.”
“First time in Norwich, and of course, Asian food was my priority. Found this spot right by the bus station and Travelodge Central. We ordered Chicken Satay, Thai Dumplings, Beef Noodles, Shrimp Pad Thai, Coconut Water, and Thai Tea all for around £50. Generous portions and totally worth it. Everything was flavorful and authentic, plus they had extra seasonings and sauces to adjust to your taste. The staff were super friendly and mostly Thai or Asian which added to the authenticity. Nice ambiance, felt like a ‘proper’ restaurant. Definitely coming back to try the curry next time!”
“First visit here and will certainly visit again. Huge menu choices. We went for the Thai style starter and mains with a traditional dessert. Three courses including drinks for under £60 for a couple.”
“So ordered my usual I turned up early my fault chatted to the bloke behind the counter think he said his name was Ben a very pleasant young man I sat down on the sofa still chatting away . Got my food and left . Had a very relaxing experience thankyou Happy Buddha.”
“Great! Really fresh taste, good quality ingredients and not disappointing like most Chinese takeaways in suffolk”
“You know, I liked to visit these Chinese restaurants, because especially if you are a new client, special attention is paid to you, so that you can understand that you order, they tell you everything, of course. Yes, it’s a pity that there are not so many such establishments and they don’t have very premises, because people kept coming. Sometimes it happens that everyone in the room can not accommodate some people have to wait outside to come to eat very pleased that a lot of young people come. I can say one thing, that I wish you success and God grant that everything turns out the way you do it, because I know many Chinese restaurants and in fact. As far as I know, now many people are switching to Chinese cuisine.”
“I always get the house special curry with boiled rice, and have never had a bad one. Very generous portion and very well priced. Would totally recommend”
