“Amazing food .. a real pleasure for the pallet.. I loved the Guiooza and the green curry .. the staff is so lovely and friendly I am definitely going back .. it’s mainly for takeaways so not ideal for a night out ..still there are places to sit if you want.. the extra amazing is that it comes with paper packing no plastic soooo cool!! Better for your health and the environment”
“Had a lovely experience at Tookta! The food was absolutely delicious – very authentic Thai flavours and clearly made with care. The service was just as wonderful. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, making it feel like a warm, local gem rather than just a restaurant. One of the best Thai meals I’ve had in Brighton – highly recommend and will definitely be back!”
“The pork pad Thai was 10/10. Also had the prawn on toast which I had never had before. It was good. The spring rolls were pretty standard. Hard to get them wrong. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant is small with bar seating inside and a couple of tables outside but cozy and warm”
“I suggested getting some dinner for my Mum and she said looking at reviews why not try the tasty Thai truck in Shoreham.. We ordered over the phone 20 mins later it was ready and we were not disappointed with the quality and flavour.. it was very very tasty and I definitely recommend A++++”
“Fantastic restaurant with amazing food and service. Enjoyed a really good meal here, can thoroughly recommend”
“For those who remember the previous incarnation....the food is as tasty. Emphasis is on rich flavours and not simply heat and spice. The service is relaxed and attentive, the vibe is more buzzy and the menu seems to have a little wider choice. Great to have a first rate restaurant back in our village.”
“We just had a truly wonderful dining experience at Moonstone and simply had to share it. This restaurant in Brighton is an absolute gem, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Every dish we tried was bursting with amazing flavours and felt so fresh. The staff were really nice and the price was so convenient for the incredible quality and generous portions. I felt the meal was exceptionally good value. We will definitely go back.”
“Went to Thai Time @ Arundel Tuesday late afternoon for a quick bite. What a great place it is! Had soft shell crab which was cooked just right, succulent crab meat inside and crunchy crispy batter outside! Had Tom Ka soup which was well seasoned with a pack of flavours ! Amazing jungle curry and chicken cashed stir fry! Cannot fault it at all! We will be back for sure!”
“I have been visiting this place for some time now and it really is a hidden gem.. Not sure why I haven't left a review before now, but here it is. Each of the many visits here have been top class, the calibre of cuisine that hits your plate is consistent every time thats rare with any restaurant. Tony and his team seem to get it right Everytime and that makes it a truly class act We bring our two little girls here and he always finds the time to come and say hello. It's hands down at the top of my list of favourite places to eat.”
“We ordered 4 different dishes, all of which were absolutely delicious and tasted about as authentic as any Thai food I've had in the UK. The portions and price were all perfectly reasonable. The service was also attentive and polite. (The downstairs seating area did smell a bit damp and mouldy but luckily we were sitting upstairs). All in all a fantastic meal.”
“Went with my family (wife and three children aged 10, 14 & 16) for dinner. We ordered a couple of starters and prawn crackers between us, followed by 4 main courses and three portions of rice (two of my kids don't each much rice) and some soft drinks. Bill came to £90 including tip / optional service charge. The food was all very tasty, service was prompt and friendly; our water jug was refilled without us asking, and they were very accommodating about changing a starter (spring rolls) that's usually in 4 pieces into 5 pieces so we could each have one. Would definitely go again, but find somewhere else to park. We looked at the dessert menu but decided to drive to the seafront and buy ice creams instead.”
“Small little thai restaurant in Lewes. Didn't expect to find authentic Thai food in Lewes ! It was very nice. We had the pad see eew. Huge portion! 2 person can share if not too hungry. The tom yum soup was very good, too ! Most importantly the service, served by lovely Thai lady who is very nice and friendly.”
“Lovely food and atmosphere. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. We had an enjoble evening.”
“One of my favorite thai place to go locally! Thai is my go to cuisine so when i tell you i had loads of thai food, and this is really good, trust me on this! their honey roast duck is amazing, the sea food tastes so fresh!!”
“Lovely staff, Tanita and Brody have excellent customer service, genuily nice and happy people. The food was amazing (I ordered sour soup with mushrooms and Thai pai with veggies) , they accommodate my picky requests (no spicy, no meat). Nice and quiet atmosphere, perfect for a Sunday afternoon. I will definitely come back. Thank you!”
“Always a great meal here either eat in or takeaway, staff are friendly and helpful. One of the few places I've eaten during eat out to help out where when the bill came I though "I'd happily pay full price for this". Sushi was delicious, avo fries are a hidden gem and both ramen options were fresh with super clean flavours. Their takeaway option is also great, beef masaman is a personal favourite.”
“Excellent Thai, we come here as our go to for both dine in and takeaway”
“Good Thai place to try out when you are around Brighton. We have been here a few times and we have always enjoyed our meal here.”
“An amazing meal after a long day of hiking! We were seated right away upstairs, our server was kind and welcoming, and the food arrived promptly. We shared the siu mai, chicken satay, lemongrass shrimp, and tom kha soup with mushrooms added. Each dish was more delicious than the last. So grateful to have stumbled upon this gem!”
“Lovely food & excellent service!!”
“We came here for a pre-theatre dinner on a Friday night. It was 5.30pm so quiet when we came in, but it quickly filled up so possibly a good idea to book. The service was superb and the food came extremely quickly and was delicious. The vegetables were all fresh and tasty and everything was cooked to perfection. As we still had plenty of time we ordered dessert, which was also delicious. I love Thai food and this was amongst the best I have had. I would thoroughly recommend it.”
“Such a great place with so many good vegan options! Nice owners, great and fast service. The starters came fast and hot! The mains are so tasty! The tofu is super fluffy and soaks in all the sauce and flavours. Beers for 4£ are a steal! We finished with the coconut sticky rice with mango. Can’t recommend this place enough. Would come back any time ♥️”
“Me and my partner are now aiming to become regulars after 2 visits here! The food is consistently superb and fresh. The owner, 'Chandra', is so lovely on our first visit that he sat us down and spoke us through his menu. This is an amazing place for regular diners but must go place for veggie and vegans- as Chandra is one himself. My Italian partner told me she hasn't had tofu this good before! We also love their coffee, one of the best blends in brighton (they get and roast their single blend Indonesian beans themselves!)- they even bring over fresh coconut milk! Our favourite drinks, besides the coffee, were the sex in the jungle cocktail and tropical jungle juice smoothie. We're also big fans of the green curry (with duck) and panaeng curry (with the lovely tofu) The ONLY thing that could make the experience even better is softer light. It always being bright takes away from the atmosphere, but it's only a minor thing”
“Tasty fresh and very good value. We had a problem with the order but promptly they put it right in a very polite manner. Highly reccomended and definitely will be back for more”
“Thai Crystal was a total lifesaver with the kitchen open until 10pm when many other establishments had already closed kitchens at 9pm. I don’t mean to imply that it’s a last choice on the main restaurant street of Haywards Heath—it’s totally a first choice if you’re in the mood for filling Thai dishes. We loved our food. The staff was so friendly. The kitchen was quick for the amount of food we ordered. The prices are very reasonable (granted you aren’t in the middle of London). The menu is clearly marked with spicy, vegetarian, etc notations. The ambiance is nice with white tablecloths and napkins in addition to a TV looping calming landscape scenery. Thai Crystal has at least 2 other locations around London.”
“I had a birthday dinner here and everything was amazing!! Food was authentic and the hospitality was perfect”
“Very reasonably priced and nice quality food tucked away off the main street. The staff were friendly and service was quick. Would recommend”
“Best noodles i ate in Brighton!!! Loved the people there and best service. Large quantities of boxes. I couldn’t finish eating it.”
“Cozy seating, wonderful presentation and incredibly delicious! Polite staff and great Service. The red prawn curry was packet full of flavors and the chili squid was tender and crispy. The duck confit was also excellent and paired really well with the pack Choi and tender-stem broccoli. I 100% recommend eating here!!”
“Outstanding by every measure. The picture of a self-made success, from the story printed on the menu to seeing the owner come through the door with groceries - she even came to chat for a bit, an absolutely charming lady. I ordered huge fried king prawns on a bed of rice. The portion was massive, prawns were plentiful and delicious, perfect crisp and taste. Rice was sweet and mixed with prawn bits perfectly. Others at ther table ordered all sorts, noodles and rice and vegetables each, and all of them were hugely portioned, delicious, and kept us fed the whole day. I can't believe how lucky I am to have this place so close to my house.”
