   The food is absolutely delicious. Everything tasted wonderful. The sticky rice for example was just perfect. It was my 13 year old daughter’s first experience of Thai food and she loved it. I think this will be a firm favourite for her. This restaurant should be packed to the rafters with the quality of the food but was relatively quiet at 8pm on a Saturday night (3 tables of customers). It does a good take away service though. Highly recommended for the food

   Thai Crystal was a total lifesaver with the kitchen open until 10pm when many other establishments had already closed kitchens at 9pm. I don’t mean to imply that it’s a last choice on the main restaurant street of Haywards Heath—it’s totally a first choice if you’re in the mood for filling Thai dishes. We loved our food. The staff was so friendly. The kitchen was quick for the amount of food we ordered. The prices are very reasonable (granted you aren’t in the middle of London). The menu is clearly marked with spicy, vegetarian, etc notations. The ambiance is nice with white tablecloths and napkins in addition to a TV looping calming landscape scenery. Thai Crystal has at least 2 other locations around London.

   Excellent food, lovely staff... if you get the lady that never writes any order down you won't believe it. We were a party of 13, she took out orders for our starters, writing NOTHING down, then asked if we were also ready to order our main courses. Everyone had something different and still she wrote NOTHING down. When the food was ready she came and served each dish to every individual perfectly. She did the same with the drink order. She has an incredible talent.... Worth eating there just to meet this memory lady! But the food was really excellent too. Highly recommended...

   My colleagues and I had lunch at Thay Christal today. Although the kitchen was already closed, we were greeted warmly and allowed to place our order. We received a very warm welcome, the service was friendly, competent and fast. The authentic Thai cuisine was delicious and the prices were fair. we will definitely visit the restaurant again.

   Outstanding food and warm service! Very authentic Thai in Sussex. Highlights were the dim sum, green curry prawns and basil duck stir fry. Perfectly sized portions and outstanding flavors.

   LONG WAIT FOR BAD FOOD. Cannot explain how bad this place is. Took an hour for starters to come and they were awful. When the main came the 2 of the mains were wrong, the sticky rice smelled like burnt plastic. Honestly worst Thai I’ve ever had AVOID AVOID AVOID. In their response they mention threatening behaviour- this is an absolute falsehood and shows how pathetic they are. They meal was had by 2 children and a pensioner - they should be absolutely ashamed of themselves

   Seems like the negative reviews are associated with takeaways. Sampled the food the other evening and couldn't fault it. Great friendly service. Had the sharing platter for starters, various seafood dishes as mains.
