   I've been a customer of Saltdean Spice for years and, although the speed of delivery has always been slow, the food has always been good (if a little cold when it arrives). Last night, we received the worst service and won't be ordering from them again. We ordered online at 6.10pm and were told food would be an hour. We waited 2 hours for the food despite being told 3 times on the phone that it would be 15-20 minutes. When the guy arrived he gave the excuse of 'we're really busy, and I've even ordered a taxi to get the food here to you'. When I asked for some money back he offered me just £5 and told me that 'next time it'll take 3 hours to get the food to you'. Awful customer service from what used to be a friendly family run business.

   Everytime I order from Saltdean Spice it is perfect everytime. It’s so good that I’ve managed to win over my partner from ordering Chinese. Saltdean spice is now our go to. Lovely staff as well.

   What a fantastic experience! This Indian takeaway offers a perfect balance of flavor, freshness, and quality. The lamb rogan josh was tender and full of depth, and the vegetable samosas were crispy and packed with flavor. Everything tasted homemade with great care. The service was friendly, and the food arrived piping hot. It’s now our go-to for Indian nights in – highly recommend to anyone who loves bold, authentic Indian cuisine!

   Worst Indian food I've ever tasted bahji cooked till inedible, tikka weird no taste ,chips ovened but deep fried ,salad good, popadon stale . Never again .

   Could do with some gentrification but definitely the best on this road. Nice patio area at the back, nice and friendly staff. Menu looked good but wasn't very inspiring with too many deals and cheap meals

   I wish I had seen the previous review with 1 star. Ordered lamb, it was so tough and full of gristle in the end I was thankful there were only 5 measly pieces. What was there was swimming in sauce for £12.50 a dish !!! The chicken we ordered was just chilli hot with a powdery taste and absolutely no flavour. The okra was old and so fibrous I had to leave it. What a waste of our weekly takeaway treat. Please do better if you want to get repeat customers. Times are hard but food this poor quality should not be served.

   Very bland food!!! Ordered tikka masala. Awful is an understatement. It was so dry and no flavour. The biryani had no taste.I had to add my own spice to it!!! Do not order from Here. Waste of my £36! Gutted Staters we're ok but not amazing . I won't be ordering here again
