“We walked into the Riverside, a place with lots of shops and eating places init and we chanced upon Bubble and Bao. We went for the pork buns, chicken tonkatsu, chicken teriyaki Bao bun and what looked like Salmon sushi roll. Oooommmmgggg. So good, pork broth was tasty but could have done with a bit more depth but after seasoning up with some chilli crunch and Soy sauce and ginger it was delicious and with the kombu it was really an interesting flavour. The rest was just amazing. Sushi is prepared after you order it and I'm pretty sure the pork buns were made out of delicious Clouds. I'm so going to try and get back there for the grilled Eel and anything else I can next week.”

“Wau Asian Kitchen provided us with a vegetarian/vegan gluten free buffett for 30 people. The food was fresh, colourful and delicious, enjoyed by everyone. We would highly recommend - thank you Wau Asian Kitchen”

PadThai was really good too, one small thing I’d say is it felt a little bit dry more than I’d like it, not the best PadThai I’ve had but still really good! Thank you.”

“This is by far the best and most authentic Thai food I have experienced in the UK! My wife is half Thai and has lived there and even she was amazed at some of the dishes available here that we haven't found anywhere else except Thailand itself. Its a BYOB, which we didn't mind at all. There is a corkage fee but it wasn't over the top by any means. The staff were lovely and were very quick to accommodate anything we asked for, including things like providing small bowls so we could share a larger soup like a starter and other random requests. If you are a fan of Asian food or especially Thai food and can get over to this restaurant I cannot recommend it enough! The venue is small, however, so it's best to book in advance as there's no guarantee you could get a table otherwise.”

“At the beginning of October 2025, I attended a wedding photography convention and masterclass in Brighton called Thrive, organised by Photography Farm. Ahead of the convention, Robert and I decided to spend a few days exploring the city, and that’s when we came across Pho Brighton. What a wonderful discovery!!! The food was absolutely excellent, rich in flavour, fresh, and deeply satisfying. The atmosphere felt joyful, relaxed, and genuinely welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We would wholeheartedly recommend Pho Brighton to anyone visiting the city and looking for a lovely place to eat. A real highlight of our time in Brighton.”

My Mum came down from the midlands recently to visit and ordered the chow mein which she said was the best she'd ever had. From the truly divine food that the magnificent Nicky, her sister, Be (alongside her adorable partner in crime, Bo, a Miniature Pinscher) and her expert team creates, to the incredibly attentive front of house service that her remarkable husband, Allon, offers in abundance, this place a true gem of a family run business. There's a treasure trove of freshly made food stuffs, ranging from rolls and sandwiches, a vast selection of lunch and dinner offerings that change every day (including soups), preserved stuff in jars (CHILI OIL!!!), excellent coffee options (I highly recommend the Vietnamese varient), sooooo many delicious cakes and the like, a selection of things in the fridge and freezer for you to cook at home, and some superb alcoholic options if that's to your liking. While it's always playing in the background at a very comfortable volume that easily allows for conversations to flow (although, why are you talking and not eating?!), the music compliments the overall atmosphere and is as wide ranging as the food and drink that's available. I've been frequenting this place for more years than I can remember, and if ever I find myself feeling sad, lonely and downtrodden, this place, due to all of the above, always lifts elevates my spirit. Never, not once, have I left this place feeling emotional or physically worse thn when I entered. Food for the soul, and then some. In fact, the only thing that I love more than this place are the people who run it. I absolutely adore Allon and Nicky as if they were my own family, and they have always treated me with a loving affection that is a rarity in my day to day life. As someone who very much believes in a higher power, but not necessarily the concept of Heaven as an eternal afterlife, per se, I am pretty sure that there is this exact same Nanima to be found there, too, with absolutely nothing changed from how it appears in this life. And if there's a Heaven on earth? Well, Nanima is it!”

“Such an amazing restaurant!! Food was soooo delicious, and it came really quickly! Service was great, the staff were keen to recommend dishes and ensure we had considered the specials (so glad they did because we had one of the specials and it was unreal!!) We had the crispy squid to start which came with a range of really fragrant and delicious sauces. Then shared the green curry and the pad see ew, both so full of flavour. Loved the homemade lemon ice tea too. Really great place, I highly recommend!!”

“Just to highlight the excellence service - Spice I Am is our favourite takeaway and the food is always excellent. On this occasion they got our order wrong with one of the curries and i didn't see when i collected - we tried what they had sent but it was too hot. So i rang them and explained and they apologised and had the replacement delived to us without a fuss. Can't praise them highly enough”

“This Indian is part of 'Indian royalty' in Mid Sussex, with its roots coming from one of the first Indians in mid Sussex and the first and only(?) Indian to grace the Lindfield High Street, some 30 years ago!!! I've had 2 sit down meals here recently and I've been extremely happy. The food is always incredible (the duck dish on the special menu is particularly tasty), and the drinks are good value with a good variety of beer on tap, spirits and cocktails. Have always been welcomed with a smile and good vibes from the bar staff, and the Saturday night bands are are always good entertainment too! Will always pop in if I'm in the area ☺️”
