Food was red hot, portion size large and great value, cost was on point with value, delivery was a wait but pre warning was given, all food was very nice but prawn toast was a little over done but that's no deal breaker, this is my new fav Chinese takeaway by a mile.
Really good Chinese. It feels clean and does leave you desperate for a drink of water like a lot of Chinese takeaways will. Delivery isn't the quickest, however the driver is always so friendly and the food is so good that you really don't mind (equally you could collect if you want it sooner) Would highly recommend and we don't go anywhere else for our Chinese now.

We’ve been loyal customers of The Oriental for years. The food is delicious. Our favourites are the crispy chilli beef paired with the Oriental special rice and the Oriental curry. Whether we pop into the shop or order for delivery, the staff are friendly and welcoming. The customer service is top-notch every time. The Oriental has truly earned our repeat business, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for tasty, reliable takeaway.
I have eaten a lot of Chinese food from a lot of takeaways around the country and have to say that the food at the Oriental is the best I’ve had. Personal favourite is the Malaysian parcels that I’ve not really had elsewhere. My son thinks the lemon chicken and the crackers are the best ever. Recipe can be adjusted to your taste which is great as like mine a little spicier than many. Great range of dishes and so I try something different each time. Can’t recommend highly enough.
I was guided by the previous reviews and couldn’t be more disappointed. My local Chinese I usually go to was closed so I decided to go for this one due to great reviews. I ordered chow main noodles, Singapore fried rice and chicken vermicelli noodles the was no difference between the noodles although they are very different dishes my son said that for the rice I do much better. I would not be going back there anytime soon.
Love it. Great food. Great staff. I don't even live in Crawley anymore but travel here just for this. Have always commented on the 'Restaurant quality food at take away prices' sign they have above the counter. I wish they had a restaurant
One of my favourite takeouts in Crawley, consistently good every time. There is parking outside where you can wait in the car and they will deliver it to you.
