    Amazing, genuine taste. Good prices. Very satisfied, would definitely go again!! However, the young boy was very rude at times. Might need to sort the staff... I also found a long hair in my curry covered in what seemed to be saliva.. Added to the taste if I am being completely honest. I'm not sure if the hair was mine or not but I am pretty sure it was not and the saliva was definitely not. The boy was a sexy young lad, who supported me through every steamy, sweaty bite. Very sensual interactions were made with the young boy. He even took my last bite and licked my fork, the cheeky git. Besides that very good!!!!!!! Would eat there everyday especially with the free foot massage in warm soapy water and even nibbled my toe!

    Wow! The food was utterly Amazing! I would go back there everyday if I could. Especially, that Shiham boy. Served well and made me feel amazing. The Chicken Tika Masala made me really wet (with sweat) will never go for the Hot Indian noodles again. My sweat spilled all over the food! Please leave shihams number under this review so I can treat him good.

    Had the most amazing meal tonight celebrating hubby birthday. The Seabass was cooked beautifully and I would highly recommend. Service was fab as always

    Looked at prices on their website, ordered veg vindaloo ( 7.95), and a bombay aloo. ( 3.95) They say 10% discount for collections. Was not very good at all, but when i collected it, they said after 10% discount it was 12.15. I thought "huh?!", shrugged, Borrowed a spoon and sat outside before my film up the road. I rechecked the prices, did the math, I explained, they fobbed me off, pointing to their restaurant menu saying for phone collections they use that menu. I told them, that's dodgy business, after going round a few times, and told them they owed me 1.20. Then they said "we were so polite" then accused ME of being rude. And said good night. with a HUGE grin on his face, brushed me off, to greet some customers who just walked in. Reporting to trading standards, guys! Not sure what's going on in restaurants these days, never had anything happen like this outside a dodgy takeaway innercity, but this is the second scammer in a WEEK!

    i have been eating here since 2005 to 2016 and the food was superb then! i have since returned to the area and have been back sevral times this year (2021) The food here just keeps getting better and better!! highly recomend the Full Monty but not for the faint hearted "it's very hot and tasty" takeaway's are equaly as good too, recommend booking whichever you choose. very nice staff/owner for the last 40 years!! Update; 7th December 2022 - food still very good but portion sizes have shrunk and the price has gone up! Getting skimpy with chicken in curry dishes!! No hygiene rating certificate displayed on premises? Checked ratings and it’s a 3 star, obviously ashamed to display ratings than pursuing achieving a higher standard that would benefit the business and public confidence.

    Great food, quiet setting, and option to eat in or takeaway. The manager is extremely friendly and welcoming. The chef is very talented and highly reputable and this shows in the quality of the food. Had a wonderful dining experience and will be visiting again when I’m in the area.

    A gem of a restaurant in the middle of Uckfield. The food is just amazing and staff are very friendly. On this visit was greeted by the staff and management. Ordered a host of different foods. From the dishes the pick of the bunch has to be the Meat Rezalla and the Green Bengali Massala. Would also recommend the Star of Bengal Rice. Was very satisfied and would highly recommend.
