   Absolutely a hidden gem in Lewes. Fantastic authentic Turkish food. Big portions. Excellent value. Quick and friendly service - Would highly recommend and can’t believe it wasn’t more busy. Recommendation to owner: The lights could be slightly dimmer to improve ambiance.

   What a delight. We have been invited by friends who live in Lewes to join them for lunch in this restaurant. I'm definitely going there again. The food is sublime, great atmosphere and service. Best Turkish coffee I've had in years to end the meal. Five Stars!

   Went for lunch and it was delicious! Wasn't much atmosphere but that's only because it was quite quiet - not their fault. They did have music on and lovely decor inside. The food was great, we got the four persons sharing platter and had plenty spare to take home with us at the end! Server was kind. Would come again, thank you!

   Lovely and comfy decor. Cozy. Service was friendly and attentive, not intrusive. The fresh mint tea was a refreshing start to the evening. Drinks and food looked amazing and tasted delicious. Cooked to perfection. Taste buds were in for a treat. Everything was so good ! Flavoursome and fresh. Tried the calamari, mushroom stuffed with goats cheese, patlican ezme (aubergine with tahini dip), karides tava (prawns), lamb ribs and tabule. My friend and I had a couple of cocktails too ! Go and try for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

   We had a fantastic meal at Sultan, cannot recommend it highly enough. Every item we ate was excellent, familiar dishes like houmous and halloumi were their very best versions and the sharing platter for two was enormous! The service was welcoming and attentive and the setting is spacious and beautifully decorated.
