“We ate here early on a Sunday evening, so it was quiet, but the ambience of the place gives it a very relaxed feeling. The quality and presentation of the food was top notch and very tasty. We had Satay and Squid starters, then Pad Thai and Chicken Holy Basil for main. All very delicious and plentiful. Lovely Thai hostess and efficient service all round. Highly recommended.”

“Authentic Thai food, cocktails are very very good, beautiful to look at and taste amazing, and fantastic pricing. Seabass and tom yum soup were my favourite, fresh and full of flavour. Was a very busy lunch today with 20 Korean film crews ahead of us, but the manageress was apologetic, and it wasn't that long of a wait to be honest at the end. Overall, a great dining experience with great food, excellent drinks and above standard service, highly recommended.”

“A wonderfull restaurant, the food all the best Thai I've ever eaten, perfectly balanced flavors. We had Thai green curry, sweet and sour, broccoli in Garlic, egg fried rice. Thank you for a very good meal!! They do a lunch special, combo of main, starter and soft drink. For 12.90, which is very good value for great food!”

“Sabai Thai has become my favourite restaurant and I always try to visit when in Brighton. Everything about the place is exceptional; the food, the welcome, the ambience.... everything. On this occasion I visited with my partner to celebrate her birthday. Gina and her team ensured she was given a birthday meal to remember from the complimentary prosecco to begin through to the deep fried ice cream (complete with birthday candle) to end. I cannot recommend Sabai thai highly enough. I would go as far to say that if you visit Brighton and don't drop in you are missing out.”

“I ordered them off deliveroo and I was so pleasantly surprised. It's authentic and just so flavourful. I went for the spicy papaya salad and it was so spicy so good I just can't believe I found this place in Brighton. Also they got the BEST tom yum absolutely not a doubt there.”

It's probably not the biggest portion I've got, but it was delicious and both chilli and peanuts came in separate little bags, which is really great, I could regulate the level of spice. “Popped in last night out of the blue as fancied a Thai, Nicely greeted and shown to a table, after a few mins we were asked for a drinks order, drinks arrived in good time, we ordered a starter to share and our main course, the starter was absolutely beautiful and tasted amazing, the main courses was also mouth watering, the desserts were absolutely amazing too, to be honest we weren’t expecting the experience we had, a real gem of a restaurant both in service and quality of food, the pricing was very good. 10/10 to this restaurant, we will be back. “Best prawn pad Thai in Brighton! Really delicious, generous portion, prawns were big and fresh tasting. Mother in law had recently had dental surgery and was unable to eat solid foods but wanted to go out, our waitress was so kind and accommodating. She brought out a piece of tofu so she could see if it was soft enough! MIL had Tom Ka without any solids and it was so so delicious - will definitely order this when we next come (with all the usual fixings) Thank you so much for such a lovely dinner !”

“Been here a couple of times and the food is always fab. They have redecorated since we were last here and it looks great. Service is good and staff really nice and chatty. Such good value on the set menus. We stay in the hotel across from it each year and so ideal as we prefer Asian to pub food. Will be back next year. Only downside on this visit was that it closed at 7pm which meant eating earlier than we normally would. I guess out of season times.”

“The food never disappoints, full of flavour and authenticity for a reasonable price. I highly recommend the prawn yellow curry! A relaxing atmosphere, always a favourite choice to head to for a family meal. Considering we visited on a friday night, the staff were still very attentive even though it was quite busy which was great.”

“We walked into the Riverside, a place with lots of shops and eating places init and we chanced upon Bubble and Bao. We went for the pork buns, chicken tonkatsu, chicken teriyaki Bao bun and what looked like Salmon sushi roll. Oooommmmgggg. So good, pork broth was tasty but could have done with a bit more depth but after seasoning up with some chilli crunch and Soy sauce and ginger it was delicious and with the kombu it was really an interesting flavour. The rest was just amazing. Sushi is prepared after you order it and I'm pretty sure the pork buns were made out of delicious Clouds. I'm so going to try and get back there for the grilled Eel and anything else I can next week.”

“At the beginning of October 2025, I attended a wedding photography convention and masterclass in Brighton called Thrive, organised by Photography Farm. Ahead of the convention, Robert and I decided to spend a few days exploring the city, and that’s when we came across Pho Brighton. What a wonderful discovery!!! The food was absolutely excellent, rich in flavour, fresh, and deeply satisfying. The atmosphere felt joyful, relaxed, and genuinely welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We would wholeheartedly recommend Pho Brighton to anyone visiting the city and looking for a lovely place to eat. A real highlight of our time in Brighton.”

“I cannot praise this place enough. From the truly divine food that the magnificent Nicky, her sister, Be (alongside her adorable partner in crime, Bo, a Miniature Pinscher) and her expert team creates, to the incredibly attentive front of house service that her remarkable husband, Allon, offers in abundance, this place a true gem of a family run business. There's a treasure trove of freshly made food stuffs, ranging from rolls and sandwiches, a vast selection of lunch and dinner offerings that change every day (including soups), preserved stuff in jars (CHILI OIL!!!), excellent coffee options (I highly recommend the Vietnamese varient), sooooo many delicious cakes and the like, a selection of things in the fridge and freezer for you to cook at home, and some superb alcoholic options if that's to your liking. While it's always playing in the background at a very comfortable volume that easily allows for conversations to flow (although, why are you talking and not eating?!), the music compliments the overall atmosphere and is as wide ranging as the food and drink that's available. I've been frequenting this place for more years than I can remember, and if ever I find myself feeling sad, lonely and downtrodden, this place, due to all of the above, always lifts elevates my spirit. Never, not once, have I left this place feeling emotional or physically worse thn when I entered. Food for the soul, and then some. In fact, the only thing that I love more than this place are the people who run it. I absolutely adore Allon and Nicky as if they were my own family, and they have always treated me with a loving affection that is a rarity in my day to day life. As someone who very much believes in a higher power, but not necessarily the concept of Heaven as an eternal afterlife, per se, I am pretty sure that there is this exact same Nanima to be found there, too, with absolutely nothing changed from how it appears in this life. And if there's a Heaven on earth? Well, Nanima is it!”

“Such an amazing restaurant!! Food was soooo delicious, and it came really quickly! Service was great, the staff were keen to recommend dishes and ensure we had considered the specials (so glad they did because we had one of the specials and it was unreal!!) We had the crispy squid to start which came with a range of really fragrant and delicious sauces. Then shared the green curry and the pad see ew, both so full of flavour. Loved the homemade lemon ice tea too. Really great place, I highly recommend!!”
