   Thai Marina offers fine dining Thai cuisine with truly satisfying, mouthwatering food. The flavors were excellent, and the ambience is lovely — a great place to enjoy a meal. The only downside was the service. When we politely asked for napkins, the staff seemed reluctant to engage and served us with a frown. It felt a bit awkward, though we’re not sure if it was a language barrier. Overall, the food and atmosphere make it worth a visit, but the service could be warmer.

   Bugs on the mint leaves that were served with the ice creams. We had 2 coconut halves and pineapple quarter icecreams and after taking the photo I have noticed that all the leaves had little green bugs on them and were partially eaten. We have reported it to the waitress, who took the leaves away, reluctantly said sorry, but have not changed the icecreams for which we were still charged full price. Just to note the main meal was tasty (apart from hot and sour soup) but I would now have doubts about any greens served in the dishes.

   The food quality is good, having both pleasing flavours and texture. I was not impressed with the wait time to receive our main course. We arrived around 430 pm, before the dinner rush and after the lunch crowd. Maybe the cook was taking a break? Service was effective but not friendly. Good view of the harbour, plenty of outside seating.

   We visited for Sunday lunch and had the fixed price menu, plus dumplings and also dessert. The food was excellent, the staff were lovely and the restaurant had a great ambience. We had coffees to finish which came with some delicious chocolates. All in all a great experience, we will definitely visit again and would recommend to others.

   Delicious food and good service. We had the mixed starter which was divine, then the red curry with duck and the pad some noodles. Both great. The red curry had delicious fruit in and was spicy but not too much. Perhaps a bit salty but delicious non the less. The beer was excellent similar to Stella Artois.
