Fantastic place. Been two times now, once for dinner and once for a birthday. The food is so great and you just want to eat everything on the menu. Maybe the best thing though is the team that work there. They are just fantastic and make you want to come back. Couldn’t recommend it more!
Staff are fantastic - friendly and knowledgable. The vibe is warm and buzzy and I love its byob. Great place to eat as a celiac - around half the menu is gluten free and they know what’s what. I personally found the food too sweet, and would have preferred more sourness, more spice, more depth of flavour that is synonymous with Thai cuisine. This might have been a conscious decision made to make it more accessible. Portion sizes are great. Food was timely. Cost is fab. Wouldn’t recommend to someone looking for the best food, but would to somebody looking for a fun, cheap and easy meal out.
Have been recommending this place to everyone since we last been - we've not only had the most amazing and delicious food here (the fried sea bass was beyond delicious), but we have felt welcomed since calling up to book a table. The staff are extremely welcoming and attentive and even though it was busy when we went, in no way did we find the atmosphere in the restaurant stressful or loud. There are great vegan and non vegan options and it does not break the bank at all, and it's good to know that you can pay with card now also. Thanks so much for such a nice dinner guys, we had the best time!
Went on a Friday evening with 4 other friends. We were quite looking forward to it due to the good reviews. We got the pad thai, corn fritters, assortment of curries, tamarind curry and egg fried rice. It was honestly disappointing for all of us. The pad thai was bland and the currys were too sweet. The corn fritters were too hard it was difficult to bite into. The only thing that was borderline okay was the fried rice. We honestly don’t get the hype around this place but maybe our expectations was just too high. Will not recommend this place to our friends unfortunately. Ambiance was good, we liked that there was no loud banging music that we’d have to shout at each other to have a good conversation. Staff were all nice and polite. Environment seems clean. Food was served in a very reasonable time.
Such an amazing restaurant!! Food was soooo delicious, and it came really quickly! Service was great, the staff were keen to recommend dishes and ensure we had considered the specials (so glad they did because we had one of the specials and it was unreal!!) We had the crispy squid to start which came with a range of really fragrant and delicious sauces. Then shared the green curry and the pad see ew, both so full of flavour. Loved the homemade lemon ice tea too. Really great place, I highly recommend!!
We went to lunch on recommendation & no regrets! What a gorgeous place. Beautiful food to warm the belly and the nourish the soul. A lovely vibe. Super service from the heart. Honestly, can’t wait to return. Just wish we were a little closer!
Cute and cozy restaurant, with great tasting food. It's BYOB and there is a CO-OP at thr end of the road. Make sure to check the other side of the menu.
We booked a table and were glad we had as several people were turned away. When we booked for 6.30 they called us back and said they would need the table back by 8,or we could have a later table for the night. Glad for the offer but we were going on to see a band so happy to vacate by 8. The restaurant was busy on our arrival but our table was quickly cleared for us and water and menus provided. Service was friendly and knowledgeable about the food. It is BYO with a corkage charge of £2 per bottle. We shared prawn toast to start which came with a dip and was delicious. We then shared a noodle dish with chicken and a green curry with beef and one portion of rice, all good. The only downside was that when the table was cleared the bill was presented without us asking even though we had not finished our wine and it was not even 7.30pm. We ignored it but it was quickly followed up by a waitress with the card machine asking how we wanted to pay. Lovely restaurant and food a little to eager to turn tables. The bill came to around 35 pounds.
Our new favourite restaurant in Brighton (& we’ve been to a lot!). Tod the manager was extremely accommodating and attentive. The food was exceptional & extremely fresh and full of so many flavours. Haven’t had as good Thai food since being in Thailand.
Can’t recommend this place enough! Incredible food, the chef on the day was Pam, and we loved every dish. We ordered the beef salad, prawn Thai green curry and crispy red snapper with chilli tamarind sauce, which was amazing. Our waiter Philppe was so great and helpful. Looking forward to coming back and introducing this hidden gem to more people!
