“Nartnapa was a wonderful find! My friend and I were staying the night just next to the restaurant, at Sunny Lyn Holiday Park, while hiking the South West Coast Path. Having walked 20 miles that day, we didn't want to have to walk down (and up again) the big hill into Lynmouth, so we took a chance and popped our heads in at Nartnapa to see if they could fit us in for dinner that night. We were greeted with smiling faces and confirmation that they could seat us. The ambience was happy yet calm, with lots of other satisfied customers already enjoying their food. Our meals were delicious (prawn green curry and pad Thai), and the sticky toffee puddings afterwards really hit the spot. This restaurant is more than just "convenient if staying at Sunny Lyn" - it would be worth a special trip just to enjoy the menu and friendly service.”

“Amazing food. Huge portions on the mains too! I’ve heard service can be a little chaotic but the quality of the food is really worth waiting for. No issues when we were there though. The Som Tam was delicious & it’s so hard to find a good Khao Soi in this country but she’s nailed it here. Lovely mango sticky rice to finish off too. Will defo be back next time I’m there.”

“Delighted to have found this little place. Food was delicious and excellent value, 4 of us ate for under £40. You absolutely must try the sticky rice and mango dessert, a delicious treat and no mistake. Decent selection on the menu including plenty of spicy stuff. Will definitely be back!”

“We love it here. I have come to Ty Madeira for years. The Espetadas are the main event, always cooked perfectly. I think over the years I have had the Fish & Prawn, the Fillet of Beef, and the chicken. Always cooked to perfection. The battered cauliflower that comes with the meal is fantastic. Perfectly cooked, not oily, with a lovely flavor. The service is always fantastic, where the servers build a rapport with you and are happy to laugh and joke with you whilst being very attentive and not overbearing. A definite visit if you are visiting Cardiff.”

“I have seen heaven and it is beyond this café's door. The food, excellent. Opened up a flood of hometown memories I thought long lost. The beef pandang was spicy enough to cleanse my palate without being painful. The spring rolls were mahoosive and meaty. The staff, wonderful. The vibes, immaculate. Dear god.”

“Good food, if you don't mind hair in your food, I am bald and clean shaven, so the 20cm hair that I had to remove from my mouth clearly wasn't mine. The staff didn't apologise, didn't offer replacement food, or reduction of the bill, after I spoke they offered to buy us a round of drinks, 2 of our party were drinking water, having decided that we would leave, we did finish the food in front of us, they the let us have the drinks free. First and last time time at Wagamama.”

“Good food. Been meaning to try for a while. There’s quite a few dishes I wanted to try, so I’ll have to go back! I got the “saliva chicken” because I hadn’t seen it on a menu around here for a while. Delicious! Also opted for the cucumber salad and some plain rice. Salad was nice and fresh and the rice was fluffy and perfectly cooked. Staff were helpful and friendly. Prices are pretty fair in my opinion, too.”

This was my second visit and it has become a cherished tradition for me to return whenever I find myself in this vibrant city. They only offering take-away services, there were four stools available but there were more seatings in upstairs. Authentic Thai food by Thai chef continues to impress with its delectable offerings, generous portions and reasonable prices. We had Thai Red curry with Chicken, Thai Green Curry with Chicken and Pad Thai with Prawns, the Thai flavours served here never fail to impress. The Thai Red curry was very hot and delicious. Friendly staff, the entire process from placing order to collecting it was remarkable swift.”
